    The Real Seal LLC
It is too early to tell if these repairs will solve the problem in the crawl space. When the spring rains come that will be the test. However, I thought the repair specialist explained everything to me honestly and it looked like the repairman did a very good job.

    WindowWorks Inc
Exceptional service and follow up. The sales representative was outstanding and the installation was very prompt and professional. The most impressive aspect was the work done on our behalf by Michelle Ortega who was our concierge. She did a remarkable job. Thank you window works.

Our project which was rather complicated went very well. We wanted to move an existing basement window opening and install an egress window. The sales rep, Craig, was responsive and respectful. The crew worked quickly and professionally. But it was Stoyan who was the expert and who really helped us through the multiple steps of this project with a sense of urgency to take advantage of the good weather in December. They know what they are doing. Great experience and we would use them again!

Handy Men & Mrs Helper Kitchen & Bath
The Handy Men and Mrs. Helper Kitchen and Bath team were AWESOME! Expert craftsmanship, reliable, trustworthy, on-time, on budget - I highly recommend! Kitchen - painted cabinets, added cabinet pulls, added 2 new cabinets, closed up soffet, new sink, disposal & faucet, all new appliances, installed new hard wood floor, updated electrical outlets (USB), quartz countertops & quartz back splash. Bathroom - gutted down to the studs, removed tub, brand new tiled shower, tiled shower walls, faucets, new vanity, toilet, new mirror and more! Beautifully refinished hardwood floors in living room & dining room, to match the new kitchen floor. Painted living room, dining room and back entry way. I'm extremely happy with my newly remodeled home! Thank you Andy, Anne and HMMHKB team.

    DESIGNfirst Builders LLC
We are very pleased with the result of our remodel. We wanted a complete gut/renovation and this was our first major renovation, so we were of course concerned about cost and time--and not knowing really what questions to ask. DesignFirst was a great partner through the project. Their designers came up with a thoughtful design, but were also happy to tweak things that we wanted to change. Their customer portal was modern and allowed us to review all the choices we had made, payment milestones and records, etc. They also have a nice showroom and a good selection of styles and materials for things like cabinet styles/hardware and stone materials. For some small items like cabinet handles/pulls, we were able to find exactly what we wanted through a third-party and it was no problem at all for us to buy there and have them install it. It was nice to find a company that was ok with us buying some items and not forcing us to use all of their vendors. The project manager was always very responsive to any questions as the project went on. We were a bit unlucky in our timing as the Covid lockdown hit our project right in the middle. But the GC and contractors were always respectful and had masks when on the property. And somewhat surprisingly our timeline was not really impacted because of the lockdown, though it was obvious that the company and contractors were having to jump through extra hoops to get things done on time. One thing that was key to our project was the relationship that the company and its lead contractors seemed to have with the city inspectors. Their contractors were obviously known for working to code and making any changes the inspectors asked for correctly. Our inspections went smoothly, and this is one of those areas where "you get what you pay for". I think we paid a fair price and got great work in return.

    Perma-Seal Basement Systems
All in all with only a few small issues it went really well. We were told they were going to fix all the cracks not just the ones they estimated we had but they gave us an easy solution for that problem so it's fine. They asked us how far above ground one of the window wells so we told them 2 inchesoor so is fine well they put it 2 feet or so above ground. The electrician put a new designated breaker for the sub pump and a solo outlet but threw out the old outlet even though it still worked I would have used that for another outlet downstairs that wasn't working and needed to be replaced but that's just a minor thing. Like I said all in all they did a good job and cleaned up nicely before they left.

Great experience with the company from start to finish. Everyone who came by (sales and work crew) were all on time, professional, knowledgeable and performed the work in a professional manner). Would recommend to friends and family and would hire them again.

    Meister Windows & Siding
You're reading this review because, just like me, you want to secure the best bang for your buck with your home improvement need. In my case, it entailed replacing all of our windows (23) with OKNA 800dx throughout. Allen Meister, owner, and his son Shane just wrapped up the project and honestly exceeded all expectations...BOOM!! Back story: Our journey for the best price/value window offering went into high gear after getting ridiculously high quotes on Pella, Andersen and Marvin windows. It was actually a Marvin dealer that turned our attention to high end vinyl windows through the Sunrise Restorations line they also sold. Impressed with the superior efficiency and warranties of vinyl windows vs. wood windows, we explored the "high end" vinyl market further. This lead to finding the OKNA line and the associated high praise by industry pro's and consumers for their product line. Through OKNA we found Meister Windows and so glad we did. We got an exceptional product in OKNA and outstanding craftsmanship by Meister Windows. They've earned every referral I hope to impart on them. So if you're looking for a high pressured sales pitch, overpriced and heavily marketed national brand windows or sub contractor installers who are driven by speed installation metrics these guys are not for you.

    Everlast Exteriors of Illinois
My wife and I contemplated replacing our original windows in 2018. Like any good consumer we obtained quotes from several providers - the “Big Names” and Everlasting Exteriors of Illinois. We succumbed to “sticker shock” for 30+ windows and decided to put it off. Well, at the beginning of 2020 we decided we could not wait any longer and reached out to all of the players we previously spoke to. All came in with a higher price due to inflation than they had less than 7 months before. Yet, Mike with Everlasting Exteriors was honored that we reconsidered him and worked overtime to earn our business. We went with him and he expeditiously scheduled the installation of our windows, which took place in March. They are picture perfect! His team’s level of professionalism and attention to detail are rivaled by his sense of customer service. I will be using Everlasting Exteriors to replace my specialty windows!

Mark was fantastic. He knows his stuff and he knew exactly how to fix my problem. Before he came I had two doors that were letting so much cold air in and he fixed them along with putting a new lock on my Anderson balcony door. There no longer is cold air coming in and my door slides great. I only wish that he wasn’t so busy because I have more work for him and I could see why they are so busy. He really made me feel confident with him and I trust him as he explains everything that he is doing and shows you exactly what the problem is. Great job!
