    Atlas Concrete Lifting Inc
Mark and Helen were exceptional in their professionalism, service, price and quality of work. They provided the best price of all of the estimates, yet with the most scope. I had sinking front stoop, circular driveway, and walkway. Mark explained in detail what the job will include, where there are concerns and how he would address them. In areas where they do not recommend a fix, they offered suggestions on some (less-costly) options. They made an extra effort to honor their quote and schedule. One of the best, and sadly a rarity these days. Highly recommended!

To say the least, scheduling this job so late in the season proved to be problematic.  To begin with, we needed an outside source of water.  My home has an outdoor sprinkling system, so I was unaware that my outside faucets were defective and couldn't be used.  Atlas attempted to run a hose through to my laundry room, (it didn't work) then through the front door down into my basement (way too cold for a brisk winter day) and finally solved the problem by going through a basement window.  Mark came out to help solve these issues and couldn't be more gracious, persistent, and professional.  Problem number 2:  the night before our appointment, we had had our first snowfall.  I don't have walkways to my rear and side patios and the equipment couldn't easily be moved through the snow.  The men drilled the necessary holes and did what they could for the next few hours, but we needed to reschedule.  As fate would have it, the second date turned out to be the day of our SECOND snowfall, and we needed to change the date once more.  I'm sharing all of these problems to let you know how nonplussed and reassuring the company continued to be after each and every obstacle we encountered.  When they finally came , they worked for an entire day to complete my job.  The work was very well done, but most of all, their patience and professionalism made all the difference in the world.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone..

    Atlas Restoration LLC
Working with Atlas was a very unpleasant experience.  I contacted them in August 2014 for a major structural problem with my house.  The work entailed repairing my foundation, tuckpointing, and concrete work.  I made it clear that I wanted them to take responsibility for the entire job.  They arranged that and got me contracts for their work plus contracts from two companies for the tuckpointing and the concrete.  I was in a hurry to get the work done and it wasn't until they finally showed up in December that they told me the work wouldn't be completed until the spring.
They did their portion of the work and left a mess of my yard with the shrubs left to die lying in the yard.  When they actually lifted the house I was onsite and told to say when I wanted them to stop lifting.  I couldn't believe they were asking me as I assumed that I hired them as experts.  I was told that homeowners often decide how far to go because there is a trade off between leveling the foundation and creating cracks inside the house.  I would strongly suggest that while the house is being lifted is not the first time you should discuss this with the homeowner - and relying on a complete amateur is ridiculous.
When they finished their piece of the work they demanded full payment and I told them that I had contracted for the entire job, not just their portion.  They pointed to the "small print" of the contract, which did indeed contradict our verbal agreement.  They told me that they would sue me if I didn't pay immediately.  I paid.
I also told the owner that I would express my dissatisfaction on Angie's List, and again, he said he would sue me if I did so.  I simply said that it's completely within my rights to tell the truth, which I have done here.
I would never, ever work with Atlas again.

Mark the owner came about three days after I called and did the estimate.  He gave me a good estimate and told me that I would get a call in a couple of days to schedule the mud jacking.  No one ever called me so I called a week later and scheduled the concrete lifting.  No one called or showed up on the day they were supposed to come.  I called and they said that someone on the crew was sick and that they had to cancel all appointments that day.  She told me she would call me back to reschedule the concrete lifting.  She never called me back.  My wife called two days later and was told that they don't know when they are going to reschedule and put her on hold.  She was on hold a long time and hung up.  I called the next day and was put on hold for 5 minutes and then was given the reschedule date.

They came on time on the date they were supposed to.  The crew was friendly and did a fantastic job.  They had to cut out some concrete on the porch which took extra time and they didn't charge me extra.  They lifted more then a foot of concrete up and I can drive into my driveway without getting stuck or colliding with the garage floor.  Overall, I would hire Atlas again even though they were disorganized in communicating with me.

    AAA Concrete Raising Company

My concrete back step had cracked and settled. I received an advertisement and coupon in the mail

for AAA Concrete Raising Services. I contacted them and John came out and gave me an estimate

of $245.00. I agreed to the estimate and we scheduled to have the work done. The crew came and did the job in a timely and professional manner. Job was well done and looked great. John showed up, and when I went to pay the bill, he told me my coupon was no good, it only applied to jobs over $250.  I did not see any fine print on the coupon that said this, though I did not want to argue, so I paid the bill, happy that my step was fixed. This was May 2013.

This spring, I noticed that my step had settled again. I took out my receipt from the May 2013 repair, and was delighted to see that AAA Concrete Raising Co. guarantees their work for a period of 2 years including labor and material. In March, I spoke with John and explained the situation. John told me he was on a job, and asked me to phone back and leave my details on a message in his voice mail, and that he would get back to me. After several weeks, I had not heard from John, so I called him again, and he seemed to vaguely remember our conversation. He took my details, and found my paperwork in his files, and told me he would be out to fix the step within the next 3 weeks. This was April 28th.  After 4 weeks, I called John again on May 23rd, to find out when I could expect his crew to come back to fix my step. He told me it would be sometime in the next 2 weeks.

While I understand that this spring has been extremely unpredictable weather wise, I have not received any calls or communications from John or AAA Concrete Raising Company regarding the repair of my step. They do not seem to be concerned with follow up or taking care of a customer.

Initially, I was very satisfied with their service. Based on my experience since the initial service, I would hesitate to recommend their services to others. Poor communication, lack of timely response, lack of professionalism.

The stoop had started to sink again just a few months later. I have attempted numerous times to contact them to come back out. I began trying to contact them on July 16, 2012. I called a few more times, but got their voicemail and had to leave messages. I finally spoke to someone named Mike, on September 12, 2012 and gave him all of the details and never heard from them. In June or July of 2013 I talked with a woman and gave her all of the information and never heard anything back. I tried to call once again and the number is now disconnected. The original work was done well, but they have not been responsive to my issues whatsoever.

Mario Pasillas (Principal) and his crew did a beautiful job and did it very efficiently without any inconveniences to us (as homeowners). Friendly, but professional. Plan to have them replace sidewalks.

    CRC Concrete Raising & Repair
The service was performed  without any problems. The crew was efficient, polite and knowledgeable. They cleaned up the muck. I chose the CRC as they claim to use a mixture of cement and clay to make the repair permanent. The price was a bit higher than traditional mudjacking but not by much.
Make sure you stick around to watch as the huge slabs of cement are raised effortlessly by the slurry.  Impressive!

The work was done on May 5th while no one was home and i came home to find the work exceeded my expectations.  All the segments of the concrete walks were now level and at the same elevation and none of the segments had cracked.  The front post was now plumb and Mark's crew had even extended the concretethat was injected under the post to the near by driveway (below the grass so that the concrete bridge to the driveway is not visable)  to helpprevent tipping of the post in the future.  I couldn't be more pleased with their work.

    CRC Concrete Raising & Repair
CRC was polite when I initially called to schedule an estimate. The salesman arrived on time, was polite and courteous, and quoted me a reasonable estimate. After scheduling my appointment the workers promptly arrived, did their job, explained the process and left it as clean as it was when they started. The results were beautiful and is holding up well. I would highly recommend this professional company to do work at your home or business.
