    Bradford & Kent Custom Remodeling
GREAT! We had an ugly front porch that needed redesigned and replaced. Bradford & Kent did a wonderful job focusing on quality, customer service, timelines, neatness at job site and excellent, courteous craftsmen. I smile every time I pull in my driveway and see my new front porch. Would definitely work with them again!

It went well and as expected. Florim was very professional and easy to work with. He delivered what was agreed on before starting the job. After the job is done, he made sure all the debris were carefully cleaned up and bagged for removal. I would def hire him again in the future.

    Neighborhood Remodelers
Went great. On-time; kept me posted throughout the process and gave updates as to next steps. I also had made an on-the-spot idiot decision that needed to be corrected after installation but they were gracious and redid the work (for a change cost but was not over-the-top.) Very satisfied with the outcome. Have already shared their info with others who were looking to do work. Would definitely use again.

It was great working with Ewa and getting her input on the project as she designed the house for us, she was able to provide great design and cost savings solutions. Ewa is very professional and listens to the client. I would highly recommend working with her and would do so again.

    Budget Right Kitchens
-I was very impressed.  The most impressive aspect was how intently the vendor listened to my "wish list" and then drew up plans that focused on those priorities.  Lots of  vendors act like they are listening to you, but Dirk Hoerr of Budget Right REALLY listens and acts accordingly!!!!  That is so very important, as it is my kitchen and I need a contractor who will make my priorities their priorities, rather than building the kitchen they want.  Having said that, I was nevertheless impressed with Dirk's generosity with his knowledge and expertise.  He was candid about things in my 22-year old kitchen that were not functional, as well as items that dated it.  That was very helpful info since I am quite ignorant of those important aspects and it will help me adjust my priorities to take into account that advice in order to get the best kitchen possible.  Due to various life issues and my general slowness about pulling any trigger that involves money (!), I have not yet moved forward with the project, but I really liked the photos I saw of Dirk's work and I really  was pleased with my experience with this "Big Deal" offer.

    OCGG ARCHITECTS
Greg at OCGG Architects was extremely punctual from the start and came best prepared to the bidding meeting where he demonstrated past work. He was happy to work with our needs, listen to our needs in multiple planning sessions and drawing reviews and has been a great asset throughout the entire process. Prices were extremely reasonable. Greg took time out of his schedule and unpaid for at that to go with us to visit and look at various options - from downtown Chicago Merchandise Mart to a large project underway near Lake Bluff.

    MARK T GOLAN

Excellent.  We initially started with a design firm, but decided to reach out to Mark Golan based on a recommendation from a friend.  We needed someone to stretch our minds.  My wife and I needed to be challenged, especially when it came to space utilization and how to build the addition.  Mark's energy level and ability to stretch our minds was outstanding.  In our first meeting, we knew were going to hire Mark.  He simplified the process by calling rooms "boxes" that you can repurpose.  We avoided knocking down walls by repurposing our interior space.  This saved us from knocking down load bearing walls which in turn would reduce building costs.  When we hit stumbling blocks, we'd call Mark and bounce thingsoff of him.  He quickly reeled us back in, and made us focus on function over everything else.  Several times, Mark quickly had my wife and me on the same page in a 5 minute conversation.

In the end, we saw value in using Golan as an architect because:

    - We were able to make clear, comfortable decisions through the design process

    - Mark helped us shave building costs because he avoided unnecessary work in his designs

    - Mark understands local rules and ordinances, and his work will make the permit process much more efficient.

    - Mark's ability to team with other parties (designers and builders) must also be noted as he has a collaborative approach and can make recommendations without causing friction.

Should you need to modify or add space to your home, we highly recommend Mark Golan with certainty.

    Best of luck!

Richard is very prompt and responsive.  He listens and asked the right questions, learned about our needs and what features we likes about the house, etc.  He also followed up with me promptly.  The only reason that we didn't choose him this time was the price, which was at least twice as much as some others.

    JSG DESIGN LLC
I had a very hard time finding an architect willing to take on my relatively small project. Since I was serving as my own GC, all I needed was the drawings and my Village required an architect to sign them. Stephen came out on time and did a very efficient job measuring the entire first and second floor of my home. About a week later the drawings were sent to me and we were able to request edits which were promptly made. Once we agreed on the layout, he completed the necessary forms for the Village and submitted the paperwork. He met my time frame expectations and I ran into no problems with the Village who I understand from everyone I speak with, is not easy to deal with.

    ABM Construction & Son
All work was done as per schedule and as per the drawings.  Normally with builders if there is a change in plan and if we deviate from their process flow, that is when things fall apart, it get expensive and work gets delayed.

With ABM builders, Tony was always one step ahead of us. He has an eye for style and looks into every thing minutely, in short be has a passion for doing thing right the first time and enjoys his work. There are some things that he has done for free with out charging us, because he thought its the right thing to do.

All in all, very honest and you need to lay it out to him as you want, what is it you want and he will deliver. I will always use him for any kind of job, big or small and Tony will never say NO.
