    Dave was great. He came out the same day I called and was able to immediately diagnose the problem with our washer. Dave provided a lot of good advice about our options for repair vs replacement. Based on the age of the washer and the cost of the repair he strongly recommended replacement rather than push for a repair and bigger service fee for himself. This speaks very highly of Dave's integrity. I would definitely use Dave's services again for anything that comes up in the future.

    Tick Tock Clock Repairs
    We recently used another company to help is with a English grandfather clock. I was not impressed, i dont even think he new how to take it apart. After that experience, we called Tick-tock, and we set a appointment up with Vicky. The person who visited us was named Alex. He was professional, diagnosed the problem and took the clock in to be repaired. After completing and doing the delivery, it now works perfectly! I am so thrilled to have this heirloom up and running. A+

    It was the WORST experience I've had with a service provider. My refrigerator broke down, and when I called Sears, they said they would send someone on Saturday afternoon and that's why I signed up for a service plan. They never showed up until 5 pm, and after making SEVERAL calls, literally begging him, I had a technician show up around 7pm. He ordered for a part that would take a week to arrive, so he scheduled for the following Saturday, and I got an email confirming that. However, the next Saturday, nobody showed up. When I called multiple times, found out that they never assigned a technician to the appointment. I have realized that at Sears, the Service Request call taker, Dispatcher and the Service Engineer teams are all disconnected. There is no clear coordination or alignment in their respective schedules. I got system updates constantly saying my appointments are scheduled, and I should expect the technician. So they are all in disarray, misaligned and disconnected from each other. I scheduled a GE appointment online on the same Saturday night (when Sears did not show up), had a technician show up early afternoon on following Monday, who had the part available and FIXED the refrigerator. I am currently trying to return the part Sears ordered and had delivered to my home. We wasted a lot of resources: threw away food, spent time calling and talking to Sears and just waiting at home for them to show up. BAD SERVICE, strongly recommend against signing up with Sears.

    ABC Plumbing Heating Cooling & Electric
    The short answer: It went terribly. Recommendation: Google "How to buy and replace a sump pump", and do it yourself. Or, hire a different company. Details: This ABC pump is not labeled with any manufacturer information, only a tag saying that it is manufactured exclusively for ABC. I told the service scheduler that the pump and motor were working 100%, but that I needed replacement parts for the float switch assembly. Was told that ABC does not sell parts, all they do is replace any malfunctioning pump. I scheduled a free estimate for replacement of the pump. The MINIMUM price to replace the pump with the exact same model, was $800.00 - They also provided quotes for "better" pumps, which ran up to more than $2000.00!!! I looked online, and found a highly rated replacement pump on Amazon, for $177.00! I performed a temporary repair of the float switch assembly, and the pump ran for another year. When it began malfunctioning again (still due to the float switch), I looked up ABC's website. It says they DO provide repair services for sump pumps. I was again told that ABC does not repair pumps or sell replacement parts. I had to point the customer service rep to the ABC website, in order to schedule a repair technician to come out and look at the problem. I was scheduled to have a technician come on a Saturday, "around noon." The schedule was confirmed via E-Mail and phone, but the technician didn't show up or call. Around 3pm, I contacted ABC, and was told that there were many "plumbing emergencies" that day, and that they would have to re-schedule. I ended up cancelling the re-scheduled visit, spent $20 on a replacement float switch, and spent less than 1 hour modifying the pump assembly. It's working now, no problems. Remember: ABC wanted EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS to fix a problem that (at MOST) would have cost $177.00 and 1 hour of my time. I cannot recommend ABC, based on my experience with them.

He explains what he is doing and always talks cost before work begins. He offers several different options when they are available and always trys to solve the problem the most economical for the customer. He is someone you should not think twice about calling.

    Overall everything was good. It took a while to get it completed, but that was due to the parts having to be ordered and not readily available. Only negative was they didn't communicate the delay very well and I had to contact them to find out what was taking so long.

    Eric came out in the bitter cold to check things out in time for me to grill on New Year's Eve. He identified a leaky quick-connect gas valve on the main gas line. Eric replaced the faulty gas valve and the hose from the valve to the grill. No more gas smell, lots of gas and good flame at the grill. We played telephone tag a few times and there was initially a bit of miscommunication about whether or not I was calling to get the grill cleaned (not possible in winter without water). Once we connected directly, Eric was very responsive. I will definitely call him for future work. He is very knowledgable and pleasant to work with. Highly recommended!

    Called Priority Appliance in the morning and they had someone on site the same day. Diagnosed as a damaged drain hose, but needed to order a part to complete the repair. Rather than leaving the washing machine out of commission while waiting for the part to arrive, the technician implemented a temporary fix, which allowed us to use the washing machine as usual while we waited for a return visit. After the part came in (took a week to arrive, exactly as estimated), it took a couple times to find a time that worked to get a technician back out to complete the repair. They schedule everything the morning of the day they'll be on-site, which can lead to a bit of sitting around when they call at 9 AM and let you know they will not be out till 'between 3:30 and 6:30 PM'. All in all, a very positive experience and we've had no issues with the actual work that was done. Did seem a bit expensive due to the minimal price of the part that was replaced, but the time and labor required to essentially dismantle and reassemble the machine in order to get to and swap out the part made it seem much more appropriate.
