    Nunez, Dr. Michael D.
I fired Dr. Nunez, and his staff. I believe their practice is more interested in the size of their wallets than patient health. If one does not and quot;hop toand quot; when they call, they make securing routine prescriptions difficult and more costly for the patient. They are so rigid that they cannot accommodate professionals who travel and may be on the move for months at a time. The most recent example: I had a physical in January. All was well. I called with a problem in June and they told me they could not assist in even running simple lab tests as I was unavailable for an appointment. I had to find another Doctor. Then later in June the appointment calls began. I called and explained that I was away and would not be returning until September. When I asked why I was being summoned, all I was told was a follow up. No more explanation. I said if lab work was involved that they could send me the order and I could have it performed while traveling. They said no, it would wait. From that point forward, routine medications (10 years+) were not being refilled or in short supply to force an appointment and I had to argue with the staff to solve problems they created. My new Doctor tells me the tests were not medically necessary based on the medications. I believe my Doctor should be my partner in health, not my adversary. If testing for medications was so important, why was it delayed for months? Upon arrival at Dr. Nunez's office for the final time, I was told that I had to come in so lab work could be done that required fasting. Having not been notified of fasting, I had not done so. When I told the receptionist this, she said I needed an appointment to get a lab order. I replied that as someone who works in the field of medicine, I know this to be false. This is completely ridiculous and makes my previous point. Dr. Nunez and his team are more interested in their wallets than my health.

    Geismar, Dr. Deborah
I love Dr. Geismar. I have been with her for many years. She is very good and I travel very far to see her now. Because I do live a distance away she is willing to do some things over the phone. I am also able to get blood work locally so I do not have to make a trip in to see her. So she makes it very convenient for me and I only see her when I need to.

She is great.  She is very friendly and her office staff is great.  She listens and takes time with you.  She makes sure you get in if something comes up and you need to get in right away.

    JOSEPH S GRASSO DO
Everything went well. He does everything naturally as he possible can. He's always available to see me on time. I feel very comfortable when I go to him and he is a very reassuring doctor. He practices osteopathy and I don't think there is anyone as talented as he is around.

First impression, not good. This is a one doctor office. My appointed was delayed several hours for an emergency. Was not greeted at the window and waited several minutes until staff acknowledged me. The wait was not long, and included several questions as to whether my deductable was fulfilled or not. Was taken into the room by an assistant with really long hair who was flinging her head around. It did not seem sanitary or professional. After my vitals taken, I undressed and then after a few minutes, was told that my insurance would not cover both a physical and a gynecological exam at the same time. This doctor also has a weight loss treatment program that I discussed, but declined. Doctor was punctual, but I was told that I would have to come back after a fast to have my blood drawn. Three days later I returned to the office after another several hour emergency delay. I was surprised that I once again had to have my vitals taken, pay another co-pay, and the doctor, not a nurse or PA, drew my blood. A couple days later, I was told the doctor needed me to come into the office to discuss my blood work. Another delay, another co-pay, another doctor visit, just to tell my cholestrol was elevated and the doctor recommended a prescription, something that I thought could have been explained on the phone. She also took the opportunity to once again push the weight loss program. I felt a bit pressured. I still have not had my pap smear or mamogram because that wouldhave to be another visit, probably another delay and surely and other co-pay. The doctor was thorough and discussed my options, but I feel it was not a very efficient way to run a practice and there was a total lack of professionalism with the staff. I will not return.

    Richard Ferolo MD
I found Dr Ferolo to be capable, does a very good job at explaining issues and friendly. I really found his office staff to difficult to deal with and will chat for 5-10 minutes about personal issues while you are waiting to ask a question (whether about a bill or next appointment or whatever). If he cleaned house with his office staff, I might consider to go back, but am satisfied with my new regular doctor.

They schedule their patients promptly. You don't wait very long at all, which is good. You aren't stuck waiting for hours like with some doctors. The doctor is honest and he tells you what you need to know.
