    AMERICANA ANIMAL HOSPITAL
I have been visiting the vet for about 2 years. They are a small enough clinic and I really like that. They have been in business for about 30 years. I have been seeing Dr. Summers. The staff is quick and efficient. I can call them for my dog’s medication and they will have it ready for me in no time. There is never any wait and they are very punctual. I have never had any problem scheduling with the vet.

    Kruger Animal Hospital
The office staff was great. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. While we were there another vet came in and introduced herself. They also ask about the dog when we go back for anything else. They put her on medication for her hip and it has helped.

    Town & Country Animal Hospital
We took our dog in to have her teeth cleaned per suggestion of the vet. We were only told that if we didn't have the tarter removed she might have problems with her teeth when she was older. When we when to pick her up the vet said that they had to remove 14 of her 42 teeth. We were never consulted before or during the procedure regarding the removal of teeth. The bill was more than 3 times the cost we were expecting; Almost a $1000. We were told that not consulting before doing more extensive work was their normal procedure. We believe that this policy is unprofessional and believe they should could have done a better job of communicating with us regarding possible outcomes of the procedure.

We had to put our dog to sleep over Thanksgiving weekend. Dr. McAvee took care of all the details--even cried with us when we left the clinic. If we ever get another dog, Kruger Animal Hospital will be our choice of vets.

    K-9 COUNTRY CLUB
The staff is very friendly and they also have a doggy daycare which enables my dog to play. They also offer grooming services which we like and they do a good with that. They're very reasonably priced. I've never had an issue with scheduling for boarding. It is a good idea to book a couple weeks in advance for the grooming service.

    DEENIE'S BED & BISCUIT
Called for appt and told them I was considering them for boarding my dog. Explained he has never been in a crate and they assured me he would be able to be around in the shop. I took him there for grooming and when I picked him they went to the back and took him out of a crate. Decided I would not be using them for boarding. Grooming was so bad I had to take him to another groomer 2 weeks later.

    BRUNSWICK ANIMAL HOSPITAL
We've had excellent experiences with Dr. Brunswick. He and his staff are great with the animals and have taken excellent of our cats and dog over the past 13 years. We have had to have a cat and a dog put to sleep after extend final illnesses. He handled both very sensitively.

The animals love him and he's very personable and reassuring in illnesses, but very matter of fact and competent. I was very pleased to find such a good vet immediately when we moved here.

On our most recent visit, Dr. Brunswick was on vacation, but the vet who was covering his practice was also very good with the cat and very thorough in her examination.

    BRUNSWICK ANIMAL HOSPITAL
When I first called, they offered me an appointment time the same day. Getting there was easy, though the parking lot could be a little bigger. The building is really clean, and the people were really nice. They bonded with my puppy, and now she loves going there! Dr. Brunswick is always easy to understand and seems to care deeply about what he does.

    NO 1 PET CARE
Desiree and the staff are all friendly, know and greet my dog by name, and it is obvious they care about animals. Sometimes, staff members other than the one taking care of us at the front desk will come out just to say hello to our dog. They always wash the bed cover and blanket so they're fresh when we return. Our dog is good on her leash, but when we arrive at #1 she drags me to the door because she can't wait to get in and play. I particularly like that they pay attention to the dogs' personalities and put them in SMALL play groups based on who will best get along together. Our dog is very large, and they make special accommodations to bathe her since she can't be gotten into a tub. The only place I'd be more comfortable leaving my dog is at home with my family.

    Herrin Animal Hospital
A family member was visiting with her new dog, and the dog had a mysterious red spot which we were concerned about. Dr. Herrin saw her right away on a Saturday morning, gave her a checkover, and suggested several alternative treatments. Because they were only going to be in town a few days, he was able to ease their minds about the spot (which turned out to be a bug bite and not ringworm) and treatment if it should worsen on their travels.
