    I was a long time customer of Cassidy in Lakeview until moving to the suburbs. First time in the Niles shop and I was greeted by a manager I remembered from Lakeview. I believe Kevin is the manager now and he's terrific. As in Lakeview, I'm always treated as a valued customer. They take time to listen to my concern and check out the car. I've been happy with the work they've done (tires, oil, signal bulb, etc). I'm giving Price an A because of the money they've saved me by telling me a service or a tire replacement didn't need to be done yet, even after taking time to test drive the car and having the mechanic talk to me. I had this experience in Lakeview too, so it must be part of the company culture. They've also offered suggestions for investigation/repair outside their scope of business. So different from my auto dealer's service shop that never met a repair that couldn't be expanded. At both Cassidy locations, I've been waiting on a service while business is slammed and overheard the managers speaking to walk-in customers. If they can't schedule the service for a different day, they'll try and accommodate a desperate customer. Truly a service oriented business.

    TERRIBLE!!! No communication, customer service is sub-par to say the least. Not worth the time, energy, or money to even consider taking your business at this location. I have yet to get a return phone call from this place and have requested reimbursement of my warranty deductible to take the car elsewhere. The only way they know how to contact is through text and you're lucky to get a reply if it's not convenient for them.

    TERRIBLE PLACE...
    I do not recommend this place. I haved nissan murano platinum 1015, just buy 2 monts ago... I left my car that I changed the headlight and front pumper. waited 17 days, and when the supervisor Jim Strong said that the car is ready to go and I was shocked ... by car many scratches, dirty inside, but the worst is that the color bumpers not like a cars. the impression that it has two different parts .... unprofessional and very bad job. Jim told me that he nothad time and if I do not like I can not take the car, closed the door and walked away. I live in niles, who wants to look at this terrible work please come.

    It was under warranty so it did not cost me anything. I waited for it. It is a good place. This is my second car from them and I have been going to them for eight years now or so. The price of a Lexus is actually quite competitive. I know I am getting it right with the Lexus parts.

    To have a good auto mechanic, the one that you can trust, is very important. Many places will take advantage of your situation and charge double price or fix thing that do not have to be fixed. Not at Grendel's in Niles.
    Andy, the owner, is always there, give precise estimate and tell you upfront, if he can safe you money.
    The job is done the same day, and very professional. And if you have a question or just like to counsel, Andy will be happy to answer it.

    Today, I went in for front brakes. He called and told me I needed rear brakes and rotors also. I did not question him as I would other mechanics. I told him to go ahead and change all the brakes. When I picked up the car, he had the old brakes on display so I could see for myself what made him determine that new brakes were necessary.

    It was a free service because we bought a car. They're very personable. They know your name, and they act like they care about you. I don't know how true that is but they got a really good reputation that way anyway. They're pretty straight up. They put the wrong size hitch on my son's car because he had one before. We thought that he would be having it replaced like the one that he had. When we went home and figured out that the other stuff doesn't fit, they said that the other car was not there anymore so they went to the salesperson to find out what's the deal was, and they said just put a clasp to hitch on it. There was never any discussion of type of hitch at the time we bought the car, so that was the problem. We're still in negotiations with them as when they're going to replace that, but I'm confident that we'll get the right one, that's how they've been good in the past. It was a surprise that we didn't get the right one. We bought our cars with them over the last three years, and they delivered everything that they said they're going to do. I think the price, and quality were fine. I think it's what it should be. We'll use them again for sure.

    There is nothing that I don't like and I have used them for years. They are accommodating and get the job done. If a problem does not get resolved there normally is no further charge to get to the bottom of it. They are all-around pretty good mechanics and their prices are competitive.

    The agent who originally wrote my order took the payment,  I had an advertisement from a dealer that had a lower price for the same oil change and this he did honor, but I also had a $20.00 coupon from Valvoline and he told me that I could not us this as I had a price match, after some words another agent in the store told him to accept the coupon,  He appeared not to like this and did accept the coupon but on my reciet he printed out 'NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REBATE'' .  Valvoline gives rebates for all oil changes using their oil. 
    On approximately 07.15/2012 I sent an e-mail to the address on my reciet  tell ing the company of my experience.  I heard nothing back from this.  So on appromately 07/23/2012 I called the telephone # on my invoice and thold them my problem.  appromately two days later I recieved a call from someone who was supposed to be the regional Manager. I again told him of my experience and he was fo sorry for my problems and that he would look into the situation and get back to me and that he waould send me a certificate for a free oil change.   To date I have heard nothing from NTB.

    My family has been going to Leading Edge for years. I like going here when I just want to get honest work done on my car. Tony, the owner will not try to rip you off with excessive services. He will be frank about what you need and what you don't. He understands that all options around exactly affordable for everyone and will offer you a plan that will help you get by with a tighter budget if necessary. I've had my complete exhaust system fixed (Chicago winters are a beast, along with the salt that eats away at the undercarriage) and then replaced on separate occasions. My husband, a huge skeptic of most mechanics, even admits he appreciates this shops integrity. He brought in our car to get new tires and Tony admitted that he wasn't able to offer the best prices so he recommended another business who could do it cheaper. I recommend this place to anyone and everyone and have used them time and time again.

    Husband Update:
    After going to LEADING EDGE AUTOMOTIVE a few more times, I've decided to go elsewhere. I had an issue with a warranty item that the manufacturer required us to fill out a paper form and they claimed they never got it. Therefore when this item went bad, I had to pay for it AGAIN and for labor. Tony explained everything to me and did adjust the price a little but I'd rather go to a bigger company that keeps records and doesn't rely on paper forms that can get lost in the mail. I've also noticed Tony favors what I suspect to be his and quot;usualand quot; customers and will prioritize them over standard customers. Again I get equal treatment at all the other local franchise car shops and I'm not a big fan of the favoring treatment when it means I get to wait longer while my time is wasted.

    I'm still giving him a B since he is a good person and his quality of work is high but I wish to bring my money elsewhere after these events.
