    Surgeons of Lake County

William C. Watson, M.D., F.A.C.S. was the physician who performed the surgery.

Doctor Watson removed a cyst ( about 1.25" x 0.50") in size from the top of my left forearm. The surgery was performed

at the Doctor's office (Surgeons of Lake County, LLC, Libertyville, IL.). Dr. Watson was punctual. The desk staff and nurses

were very cordial. My nurse took my vitals and was very pleasant.

Doctor Watson came in the room and explained all the procedures he was going to perform.

Before each procedure, Doctor Watson informed me what he was going to do and if I felt any pain to tell him.

The entire procedure took about 20 minutes. He explained what the surgical area what would look like for several days.

How to take of the affected area and if anything above the description in he explained would occur to call him immediately.

A follow up appointment made. Doctor Watson is very personable physician.

I knew of Dr. Watson from a previous visit through my personal physician.

    Fenner, Geoffrey C
It went horrible. My nipples after first surgery with Dr.Fenner were uneven and I had wrinkles on top of my nipples.  After my tummy tuck my upper tummy looks bloated.  After my arm lift I had bulky area close to my elbows.  I am so unhappy.  He corrected the uneven nipples but that is all that was corrected.  Every time I look at myself I cry.  Every lawyer will tell you that it is very hard to take a surgeon to court unless after surgery you have complications. Dr. Fenner know he did horrible.  He wanted to be donr with me.

    Deerpath Primary Care
Several years ago Condell Hospital along with the "lion share" of the doctors who had admitting privileges stopped takeing BCBS (of any kind PPO or HMO plans). | |I had to find a new primary Care Doctor to take over as my primary care. Dr. Kaskel seemed fairly nice, but a little cold and distant. 3 years later I was suffering very bad stomach pain as well as back pain. He grew less and less compassionate let alone carring what was the reason for the pain. He ordered many tests and never once (with the exception of abnormal blood work) called with the results of the tests. | |When he ordered a fusion test (CT overlayed a PET scan) without explanation and refused to see me until I did the test made me think that not only was my quality of life suffering from the care I was receiving there, but possibly my health and even life. | |I choose to go to a specialist since my BCBS federal plan did not require a referral. Within the first few rounds of blood tests as well as a few others, I was diagnosed with gastric cancer, later testing reveled it at stage 2. | |About a week later afted coming home from the infussion center (my first round of Chemo) I received a letter from his office simply stating (in so many words he was dropping me as a patient). | |-Real Class Act!!

    NorthShore Medical Group
Have had many problems with this group in the past. We go to Mundelein office. 1st time trying to get the school forms filled out was a disaster. Had to ask from help from the office manager. School was rejecting forms. My wife had to go back 2-3 times to straighten out. Also had problems with billing services routinely sending duplicate bills, sometimes of bills already paid. I asked my wife to insist on paying our co-pay at visit and sometimes the receptionist argues. Not sure why this practice seems so disorganized. Medical care seems acceptable and doctors competent. I think the office manager(s) is doing a better job this year than past years, but billing is a centralized function for this group and outside the control of the branch offices. I've even been so upset as to consider filing a complaint with a government authority over aggressive billing practices. Maybe if one of the employed physicians in this practice sees my complaint, they can bring up in management meeting to shake things up a bit. Staff really need to be friendlier and listen to patients and families.

    Dunal, Dr. Cathie E.
I can't tell you how much I love this woman. She has helped me to recover and get my life back. Dr. Dunal is the most thorough doctor I have ever seen. I spent over 3 hours with her during my first appointment! She wanted to get all the details of my condition so she could determine how to properly treat it. It was not an easy road as I had a "perfect storm" of ailments, but she has helped me to feel normal again over the course of the past 12 months. While I do have a thyroid condition, I also learned that I had low progesterone, low iron and a slew of other inefficiencies that were causing me to feel dead tire all the time.

Dr. Dunal's testing is very thorough. Prior to seeing her, I had some annual testing done with my previous primary care physician and was told I was the picture of health. Since I felt far from that, I left that doctor and made an appointment with Dr. Dunal. She remains very current on the latest studies and developments in medicine and tries to incorporate them into her treatment when applicable. I feel very comfortable taking bio-identical hormones prescribed by her for this reason.

    McHenry County Orthopaedics
I broke my humerus in Door County. I was treated at Sturgeon Bay hospital. They told me to see an orthopedic doctor as soon as I returned home. McHenry County Orthopedics was recommended to me. I saw Dr. Priyesh D. Patel.
The office personnel were very polite and efficient. The X-ray equipment was state of-art. This does make a different. The x-ray equipment at Sturgeon Bay hospital was not state-of-art. In Sturgeon Bay, it was very hard for them to get a good X-ray and it really hurt my arm to move it the way they needed me to do to get a decent x-ray. At MCO, it didnt hurt at all. Between the equipment and the skill of the x-ray technician, I was shocked on how easy it was for them to get a really good x-ray. The x-ray from Sturgeon Bay made it look like my humerus was completely dislocated. At MCO, they were able to determine that it was still partially attached. This makes a big difference in the decision whether or not to have surgery.
I talked it through with Dr. Patel and made the decision not to have surgery. He has a very nice personality. He was respectful and made me feel very comfortable. I also observed him talking with children. He was a natural and the children and their parents really seemed to like working with him.
I hope that I never need to use his services again, but if I have any problems, he would be the doctor that I would turn to.

    Mayer, Dr Thomas A
I have been using him since 1996. I had a heart attack in 1996 and I first met him in the emergency room at Highland Park Hospital. He was very helpful, and I stayed with him for the rest of my life. It is ongoing and I am alive partly due to that. I think he had a very important part in making me live so long. He is very thorough. He has got a good bedside manner. He follows through. I think he keeps up with the field, so we know that we are getting the right stuff. I am very satisfied. His availability has been very good in the past, but in recent times, I often have to wait several weeks to get an appointment with him. He has kept me alive. Medicare and Blue Cross take care of the billing, so there is no charge for me.

    Dr. David Jefferies
Family dentist for 30 years. Made numerous referrals through the years.  Always paid full fee on time.  Ran into hard times, crown fell off, I requested a payment plan.  He turned me into collections. Relationship violation, greed or just stupid?

Dr. Neyman is always willing to take the time to talk with me throughout my appointments. She never makes me feel rushed. She is always willing to answer my questions and go over any concerns. I like that whenever I call the office to have prescriptions refilled I always know that it will be taken care of. The staff in the office is always very pleasant and professional.
