    I���m so glad I saved a postcard placed on my car windshield about five years ago.  It was a tastefully crafted sales piece from the man I would soon know as Adam���owner (along with wife Anna) and mechanic/technician of Dynarev���an Audi/Volkswagen repair specialist.  Dynarev has been a complete game-changer in the maintenance of my automobile.  I was having so many problems with my Audi, I just couldn���t keep paying the dealer labor rates, which are now over $200/hr.  I have been bringing my car to Dynarev consistently for five years now.  Not only have I saved thousands of dollars on parts and labor, but my car is always managed with care, thoroughness, and integrity.  Here���s one example.  Two years ago, I was having an electrical drain on my battery requiring me to have battery connected to a trickle charger whenever car was not in use. The dealer had two options for me: 1) get rid of car; or 2) have wiring (harness) in car replaced over four weeks for $13,000.  I brought the car to Dynarev.  After a few hours of diagnosis, Adam figured out a workaround to the issue that eliminated the battery drain.   Not only is Adam (mechanic) an avid vehicle enthusiast of all kinds and repair mastermind, but his wife Anna maintains an efficient office operation and is a master at sourcing parts for my 14 year-old car while keeping me informed of repair status. She even has the office phone forwarding calls to her when she���s away from the shop���like overseas in a time zone seven hours earlier.  Leaving the car is no problem: Dynarev has a corporate rate on rental cars at an Enterprise location a quarter-mile away. I drive 80 miles round trip whenever I need anything done���even an oil change.  Now you know why.

    They?re good. What I like is that they let you know if they see something wrong. They give you a heads up. Which they did that with my car and they did that with my son?s car. Thank goodness, because it would have cost me a pretty penny if I had not known it. It took about 15 minutes to do the oil change.

    Once before at another auto service shop, I took my car in for the starting issue. They were not able to find or fix the issue. They advised me that there was nothing wrong with the starting. Then i took it to Auto Lab of Libertyville, explained my issues and within a reasonable amount of time they pinpointed the starting issue and the leak. They immediately called me and told me about the issue and what it will cost. Then, they recommended that i will probably need a oil charge and a new serpentine belt now or in the near future. Overall: My satisfactory was Excellent and the customer service was great. I will always take my car into Auto Lab of Libertyville from now on. I recommend this place for everyone!

    I made the appointment, and went in--first they did a 19.95 oil change, and then they came back with the fact that my sway bar and links needed to be replaced (one was broke); the air filter, and the oil--he mentioned that the back brakes were cautionary--and said, we'll wait it's not bad yet and you might need it next oil change, or might not. And oh yeah, there's a small oil leak, maybe next time will clean it up, use florescent dye and check that out. But that was about it. I wanted the wipers replaced (which they didn't really think need to be)--I had a coupon and walked out paying just under $225. I not only recommend them, but I won't be going anywhere else from now on. I've always been suspicious about some of the other places I went, but they gained my trust immediately. I didn't get the manager's name, but he was a class act and talked to me about everything.

    I called in the morning to see if they could squeeze me in today or tomorrow. I got an appointment today and was able to wait for my car in the waiting room. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and my car was attended to immediately. The oil change and tire rotation went smoothly and I was on my way back home in less than an hour. I trust the mechanics at Christoph's. It is essential to have a mechanic who will be honest with you and do any repairs needed professionally. I ALWAYS bring my car to Christoph's and the work is always top notch!

    Star Auto Authority always does a great job.  Very customer orientated.  You'll pay full retail but get what you pay for.  Their loaner cars are very basic and low end.  I have had times when a loaner wasn't available but they did provide a ride to and from home.

    Liberty Auto Plaza
    This was the first time I used Liberty Auto Plaza and I was extremely impressed.
    Let me start by saying there's a place in Wheeling I always used but I had taken my car there three times over the course of a two week period and nobody noticed or mentioned the corrosion around the battery terminal indicating a leak?   Not good. Consequently, I was about forty minutes from home with a dead battery only days after they had the hood up for the third time.  I definitely won't be using them again.  My car was jump-started and I got it home, but then had it towed to Liberty since they have a Nissan dealership and that's what I drive. 
    The entire experience went beyond my expectations.  From the moment Melody scheduled the service and gave me a recommendation for towing, I felt I was working with people who actually cared about customer service.  She explained they were fully booked, but asked me to hold and came back saying they had a small window that was still open and would work on my car at that time.  I received a confirmation of my appointment via email, which I appreciated.  Before I knew it, I got a call from Bill who said the car was fixed, it was indeed the battery and they checked out the alternator per my request and it was fine.  "It's being washed right now so you can pick it up any time before we close at 8:00 tonight."  Bill also explained that there were a couple of filters that would need to be replaced soon, but not immediately, and that my mileage meant I would need new spark plugs in another couple thousand miles. He told me he had written this up along with what the charges would be so I'd be aware of what was coming up, and added that they would email a reminder when the time comes.  Very professional, answered my questions and thanked me for using their services before hanging up.
    I went to the service window to pay, was taken care of quickly, and the young woman immediately called for someone to retrieve my car.  I then asked for Bill to discuss some rust on the car, and he explained they had someone in the body shop who could give me an estimate to take care of it.  Bill called Matt and again thanked me for using their services.  Matt was also very helpful and professional, taking the time to discuss the problem, ask me questions, and explain the options and estimated costs for each.  He also gave me his card and told me to call when I'm ready to have the work done.
    There isn't much to say about a new car battery, but four touch points and I was equally impressed by all four people.  In addition, Melody phoned the next day to ask if I was happy with the service that was provided.  Excellent question and excellent is the word I used to describe the service provided. 
    It's insane how customer service has declined in America over the years, particularly since there are more people than jobs, so finding an operation run this way is truly refreshing. 
    I highly recommend Liberty Auto Plaza and I'll be using their services in the future.

    This company did a great job on a collision repair.  Were very responsive to time frame.  Only regret is that the final work was over the estimate.  However, insurance covered everything, minus my deductible.  Paperwork was well executed.

    They are awesome.  I don't trust anyone else with my 5 cars.  My daughters car was eating oil and they had fixed the bearings (not sure spelled correctly) last year.  It kept doing it and took it back again,  they checked all other options and diagnosed as axil problem.  They fixed quickly as my daughter was heading back to school.  They are wonderful and I never feel like they are trying to get me to buy something I don't need and they are honest.  Couldn't ask for a better place to trust with your car in my opinion.

    Dynarev is a family owned and operated auto repair business specializing in German automobiles and specifically Audi and VW.
    They are absolutely fantastic and here is why.  Adam is a certified Audi mechanic and knows not only the repair nuances but design changes by year and model.  He is a student of German automobiles.  He has always done a supurb job and explains what he did and why.  Anna is the ofifce administrator and sources all parts from the OEM suppliers not the local parts store.  She is very courteous and efficient.  Their pricing is very fair and labor rates are a fraction of Audi dealer rates.  Several days ago I called to ask if they could look at my car prior to a long trip and discovered they were closing the week of Christmas.  They opened the shop just to accommodate me.  It is a pleasure to deal with this professional team.
