    Christian Home Improvement
Was quoted prices for 'labor and material'. I had to go and purchase the material and deliver most of it to the house (paint, flooring, doors, door knobs, lights, cabinetry, etc). Had to get the city permits (was in the contract he would get them). Contact said work would be done in 3 months, but we did add a few additional items, so I expected some minor delay (2 mths - max). Took almost 11 months to complete and not everything was completed. Final two to four weeks of work were rushed with 'really nice plywood' being used and painted - as if that would be OK after his constant talk of 'quality workmanship'. Says he's a plumber by trade and both of the shower units he installed don't have the handles moving more that halfway around - plus the closer you are to 'cold' the hotter the water gets.... and when you shut them off, one continues to run/drip. Installed all the plumbing for the new vanities and the drywall, before the vanities were bought. Then when the drawer of one of them hit the shutoff knob, he solution was to remove the shutoff knob and 'tape in the draw so it wouldn't get lost - if you would need it'. Told me new windows were required as they were leaking and ruining the drywall and basement walls. Paid for the window and new siding - waited for 4 months for those to be installed. And when they installed the siding they made nail pops/marks on all the inside walls... Since all the walls painted (that was the first thing he ad done - so there was tons of re-painting & used the wrong paint on one ceiling) the nail pops really show up. Told me he would sub-contract the electrical, but did it himself and now I need to have that checked out as lights that worked are not working three weeks later. Said he would do carpet and then said later - we don't do carpet (it was in the contract...) so I bought special flooring to cover steps that he installed... The people that work for him did quality work - but the work he did was crap... He was so proud of a mantel he built, but it shoddy workmanship. The corner aren't tight, there a visible gouge in the top of the mantel and they dripped paint on the bricks and then later boasted about coming back to clean that up!!! AS IF that was some extra they did for me!!! When he installed the new hot water heater - he took out the supply line for the ice maker and had to cut holes in the new ceiling and wall to get the waterline installed again and was so proud of how he solved that problem (that he created) and tried to tell me it would be great if they ever needed to 'work on it'... Can't say enough about how this 'contractor/plumber' should be avoided... When I told him we were done and he wanted final payment - I told him what I would pay but not the full remaining balance and he asked if I wanted to go to court - but he'd won most of his lawsuits, as if that was going to scare me into paying him more.... 1 How many lawsuits does someone need to know they are not good at what they are doing???? and 2 ****, yes I'd go to court against him and all of his failures to fulfill his contracts. He tried to make it seem like all the issues were some how my fault and I reminded him - HE'S the CONTRACTOR - NOT ME!!!!!

    Kitchen & Bath Specialties
Joe made his plans very clear and easy to understand. We never felt anxious through the entire project. On a daily basis Joe gave us updates and plans. I have used several contractors in the past and I will never use anyone but Kitchen and Bath Specialties for any and all of my future needs.

    Precise Repair & Remodel
I called and made an appointment for someone to come to my home to see the bathroom and provide an estimate. No one showed up and I never received a call to reschedule. Hard to do business with someone that doesn't show up to give an estimate.

    McDaniel Plumbing Co
arrived on time, and only took about an hour and a half to remove old vanity top, attach new supply lines, fix a leak and install the new vanity top and faucet.  I was very happy with their service.

    P & W Builders Inc
For the first time, we bought an existing home and decided to remodel.  Our previous four homes were all new construction.  We wanted a reputable company to work with and chose P&W Builders to remodel our kitchen, build and install a new railing and several other projects.  We made a great decision.  They did a great job with each of the projects, finished on-time and within our budget.  I would highly recommend P&W Builders for your remodeling project.

The competed job was everything I expected and more if that's possible. I LOVE our new bathroom and wouldn't hesitate for a second to have Bathroom's Plus come in and do additional work for us in the future! I would highly recommend them!

    Ogborn Plumbing Inc
Often did not show up at times or even days they said they would.  We repeatedly had to call to find out when they were coming back to work on our torn up bathroom.  We were overcharged for labor.  They charged for 7 hours of labor when they were only there for 3-4 hours.  The electrician they used was rude.  He showed up early (I was still in pjs), then threatened he couldn't come back for days if I didn't let him in right away.  Mind you, this is our master bath that is completely open to our bedroom, so I couldn't even get dressed.  The work was not even the highest quality;  there are still issues with the drain, and the tile and wall jobs were not done well.

    Kickapoo Creek Bath
I worked with Joe on this and the lack of communication was terrible.  He had originally told me it would take a month to get all materials in and it ended up taking two months.  I had to keep calling him and asking him and he never had answers.  When they finally started, the demo guys showed up and had no idea what they were supposed to do.  They didn't have any paperwork on anything so I had to walk them through everything.  When they left, I noticed they forgot to remove some tile backsplash.  I had called Joe about it and never heard back from him.  I sent him an e-mail a few days later and still never got a response.  He had told me the tile guy would start 2 days after the demo, 1 week later he finally starts.  It was the same situation with the tile, he had no idea what he was supposed to do and Joe was supposed to call him (according to Bryon, the owner) and he never got a phone call.  On top of that, they didn't give him the right grout for my shower.  He didn't take it because he knew it wasn't right so he didn't want to waste our time, when Kickapoo Creek should of had the right stuff.  Roger (the tile guy), spent his whole weekend looking for the right grout and never could find it.  The lack of communication and organization is terrible with this company.  I highly don't recommend them.
