Wonderful. The crew arrived on time, took down existing siding AND original siding, put up new siding and gutters. Their attention to detail was amazing, and the site was spotless after they finished. Two thumbs up.

All jobs went well. On one occasion when our roof was replaced there was a small problem and it was addressed immediately. P.S. Wilson built us a fantastic 150-sq.ft. tool shed in our backyard that was constructed like a house, concrete floor & shingled roof, etc. We love it.

None of the contractors that were listed in Yelp wanted to do the small job or even come to give an estimate....until I called Jerry, from First siding....after the call, he said he could stop by in a couple of hours....He called after 3:30 to say he would be at my home around 4 if it was ok...he arrived, saw the damage and asked if I wanted to replace the whole section or to try and repair..he then said he would repair first and if I did not like it, replace the whole section...the job was great and Jerry was friendly and well qualified..He had given me a quote on my initial call to come out and stuck to it!

The job when great.  It was done in three parts.  Chimney rebuild took 3 days, roof 1 day, and aluminum soffit work one day.  There were a few minor things to fix after the fact, but those things got addressed quickly.    The entire process was relatively easy.  My only minor complaints would be the lack of warning we were given on some of the work (a day or two).  If I called, I could get more timely answers, but they didn't go out of their way to keep us up to date on scheduling.  In the grand scheme, it was no big deal, but we may have changed some plans if we were given more warning.   As for price, it was spot on their estimate.   Roof and chimney look great.

Due to one of the last bad winter storms part of the trim on our siding came loose in two spots.  The wood underneath had rotted and the nails no longer held the trim in place.  These were annoying because they came loose, not off, and would bang against the house when the wind blew.  We also had a spot with an ice dam that was worrisome.  Greg came out and did an inspection a few days after I called.  He pointed out a couple of other spots that needed better caulking as well.  We had a written quote within a few days, and scheduled him to come out for the work just a week after he first came out.
The Saturday he scheduled to work, he arrived early.  He started inspecting the area where the ice dam was to find out whether water was getting in.  He also wanted to open up the soffit over the back door.  He didn't like the way it looked and wanted to make sure it was sound.  The cover pieces on the soffit where sagging slightly.  The soffit, fortunately was dry and clean, but the original installer (not Greg) had not put in cross pieces to which to attach the trim.  He pulled the siding off above that and located a hole behind the siding because the tyvek and flashing had not been installed correctly.   About this time, his crew of two arrived and set up.
Greg worked on the tyvek/flashing issue while his guys worked on the soffit and the siding above that.  Then they moved around to the spot where the two problem trim pieces were.  They replaced the rotted wood and put in new trim pieces.  It took them about 2 - 2 1/2 hours to complete the work.  They cleaned up after themselves nicely as well.   Greg and his crew were awesome.  He did not charge us for the additional work on the soffit, and it looks so much nicer than it did.  Amazing what a difference small details make.
This is the second time Greg has done a repair for us.  The last one was a similar type of repair.   He did a complete walk-around when he did our quote, and let us know that we would probably be doing small repairs like this til we bite the bullet and replace all the siding.  He was more than willing to stick with the smaller scope of work, and I think he was very fair in his pricing.  I would absolutely hire him again.

Got a quote, but have not done the work.  They were very professional when the salesman came, he understood my problem, and was clear in what in professionally tought should be done.  Will keep them in mind for this work at later date

Greg arrived as scheduled for the estimate.  He was very thorough in looking over the soffits and trim pieces. He pointed out several areas that we had not noticed that needed attention.  His price was fair, so we arranged a time for the work.
He wound up having a conflict so came a day early.  Early!  Who comes early anymore.  He explained clearly what he was able to do and the likely duration of his repair.  The previous owner had a very cheap siding job done where they took a lot of shortcuts.  He was very upfront about that.   Greg and his helper were efficient.  They finished in about 3-4 hours.  Overall they were very neat.  I do wish they had put a dropcloth or other covering over the A/C unit as a precautionary measure. The rotten wood they were removing was very messy, but they cleaned up almost all of it anyway.  Maybe an A- on neatness.
It is such a relief to have the loose trim pieces repaired.  I would definitely hire Greg again and recommend him to friends.

An excellent experience from start to finish. Chris came out, looked the job over, provided an immediate estimate, and came out to do an inspection after the work was done. The worker cleaned up very well and the work was done beautifully. I've used this company before and have had only great experiences. They're very professional and a pleasure to work with.

What was most impressive was when they came to do the estimate.  The two workers who would actually be performing the work did the estimate.  They were Mike and David.  Where others guessed as to what was causing the siding damage, and therefore guessed on the cost of repairs, Mike insisted on removing (and reinstalling) part of the shingles and siding to see if the wood underneath had any water damage and also to assess if house wrap and insulation and ice and water shield were present or contributing to the problem. Because he took the extra time to do that, I found out there was no water damage on the wall or roof decking, the house wrap and insulation were properly present and we discovered the true cause of the damage to the shingles which was sun reflection from a window immediately perpendicular to the area of damaged siding.  The sun reflection actually melted the shingles.  In addition, rather than saying all of the gutters had to replaced and all of the gutter apron was done wrong, he pointed out that the gutter apron was only done wrong on one section of the addition and he therefore did not overcharge me for work that did not need to get done.  Other estimators admitted to not knowing much about roofing and stated they were only there to take pictures and the cause of the problem would be determined by people reviewing the photos back at the office.   Mike and David were right there, pulling back and replacing layers to make an accurate determination of the problem and therefore did not overcharge me.  Mike even replaced a small amount of the melted siding from left over scraps I had in the garage, rather than reapplying the damaged siding after inspection.  That extra 15 - 20 minutes of time won this company my business in addition to the thorough inspection.  They arrived on time, did the work that was on the proposal and cleaned the place up thoroughly.  I really appreciate this company and Mike and David!
