  • I developed a sinus infection this week-thought I'd give this clinic very near my home another try after a ridiculous wait time experience a year or two ago, not long after it opened (waited 1-1/2 hrs to see a Dr when there was one (1!) person ahead of me.  I went over there this evening since wait time showed only 15 min--got right in (yay), but NP refused to give me a script citing "pressure from medical community to avoid over-prescribing antibiotics, many people coming in with colds wanting Rx", etc.  I know when I have a sinus infection--get them a couple of times a year, have had many and tried toughing them out with OTC meds and netti pots--doesn't work for me, and I always end up needing antibiotics to resolve--I explained this.  This is not a cold,  not describing or exhibiting cold symptoms.  I am well aware you don't need antibiotics for a cold and I would not go seeking them for a cold.  I am 51 years old and I know the difference. She said she didn't see evidence of bacteria--can you see bacteria with your naked eye?  If this is the test, why not swab my nose and verify, rather than assume?  Really upset I wasted my time and copay $$ at this "organic" clinic.  It's really too bad--they are 3 blocks from my home, a very nice facility, and it's too bad they aren't as effective as they are "convenient", at least not for me.  I won't be giving them a 3rd chance.

  • Proceedure went fine, it was the followup care that I had a problem with.  Dr. never saw him again after the scope was done into the bladder.  A cath was put in during the proceedure and was left in far to long!  We have been told by numerous health care professionals that a cath should never be left in longer that 30 days without being changed.  My dad died from the cancer 7 weeks later with the original cath still in place!  At the time of his death he had severe UTI that I feel was definately caused by cath never being changed even after calls were made to office with concerns.

  • I like the Medical Arts staff from the billing to the actual doctors. Have never had a problem with any of them. Would definitely recommend seeing any of the doctors there. When needed I have gotten in quickly, do not feel judged for any reason and they listen.

  • I think he is very thorough and he is interested in what my concerns are. Getting appointments is pretty easy. Now that I am established as a patient, I am able to get in quite quickly, I do not have much of a wait at all, but sometimes he doesn’t accept patients. The office is very nice, friendly, and clean. Everybody I deal with is very nice and accommodating. His bedside manner is nice, but he can be a little bit serious. His communication is excellent, they make sure I know everything, and they know exactly what’s going on. The billing is very easy, it’s easy to pay.
