Workers arrived promptly and were careful about preventing dust from spreading to other areas of the house. The entire team, including Matt the electrician, were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

    M/R Plumbing Mart
I did have them come out and I was very pleased with what they told me and educated me on and all this. I declined to have the 2 or 3 thousand dollars worth of work done. They did perform an estimate and check my situation on another house that we own in Chicago. So they came all the way into Chicago. I was pleased with their prompt attention and service and their appraisal and estimate. I've been involved in a lot of projects and that particular project at the time, and even now, is not on the top 3 or 4 on the list to do. Eventually, I will do something, and for that matter, I might use M/R Plumbing. The way everything was explained to me and the way I understood it, I cam to the conclusion that I could rent some equipment and do some of the work myself. It may take me 10x as long. They are an "A" company. In fact, I was surprised that they were as good as they were and as professional as they were. Even though they were near by, I thought that they were probably okay, or maybe over priced, or maybe just average. But I have a very high regard for them right now.

    DRC Plumbing and Sewer, Inc.
Father and son (I believe) team, Great guys, I showed them the problem, without taking anything apart they were able to diagnose the issues. I had to purchase a new faucet, they installed it for me same day. Informed me as to what the best brands were to purchase and what to look for. Very helpful and professional. Will refer to others.

    Air Team Corp HVAC
Wes came to find out why my hot water heater was not working. He was both prompt and professional. He braved my crawl space and located the unit and quickly found the problem - a faulty pipe. He was eager to get to his truck where he had a replacement part. He explained what he was doing and how much the part would cost. He was quick with the repair work as well. The time from him walking in my door then out after our goodbyes was less than 30 minutes. I was dreading the possibility that I would have to buy a new hot water heater, but Wes fixed my old one for a fraction of the cost. He even gave me some much needed information on the unit as I had just bought the house a month prior. I just wish that I had used them when my furnace broke down the week before. Thank you Air Tem Corp HVAC.

    American Homeworks
Jay called at the time he was expected for our consultation to say that he couldn't make it as promised and asked to come the following morning. He did. On the first day of work he called several times throughout the day to push back his start time and finally arrived six hours later than scheduled. His electrician began work and they left after only 90 minutes of work. The following day Jay's electrician returned on time to begin work, Jay arrived two hours late with another member of his crew who he said would be doing the job. Jay left and that was the last we saw of him for the day. The job was supposed to begin at 10, didn't start until noon and Jay's guys were working until 9pm. Jay came by the next day to install brackets to secure the dishwasher to the counter and to patch multiple holes that needed to be made in the walls during the process, he did none of these things. He adjusted the feet on the dishwasher and said he would have to return to patch the holes . He asked for 200 of the remaining $300 that I agreed to pay in addition to the original $300 Angie's list deal. I paid him the 200 and have not seen or heard from him since despite his promise to return. I have since patched the holes myself as I want nothing more to do with Jay. He was consistently late, very unreliable, and did not complete the job as promised.

    Choice Home Warranty
The technician stated nothing wrong with mechanics of unit.  Technician was not very knowledgeable on water softeners as I discussed with owner of company and he was able to diagnose over the phone issues.  With so many discrepancies the softener was not fully covered for repair.

Since I was a new customer, your company stated that this was a preexisting condition.  My water was softened one day and it was not another.  Choice agreed to pay for a certain $ amount to replace unit.  I don't believe it should have been preexisting as the unit in question was less than 2 years old.

The $ amount to replace unit was almost double what the covered cost of the item was.

    FINE GAS REPAIRS, Inc.
I had the relatively simple job of removing an old gaslight from my front yard, but couldn't find anyone who worked with gas nearby. Dan came out and completed the work in one afternoon. It was worth waiting a few weeks until he had enough work in my area to justify the trip. Completed the job in about 30 minutes. He answered all my questions.

    Trojan Plumbing Co
These guys were excellent! I phoned them on a Saturday afternoon because my toilets and bathtube were backing up, and they were at my house within the hour. Really friendly, nice couple of guys. They couldn't gain access to the Main Sewer drain in the house, so they dragged their equipment up on the roof in order to get the job done. I would definetly use them again, and would recommend them to my family and friends.

    Calumet City Plumbing Co., Inc.
The service call was great and the company was very responsive throughout. I even gave them the lockbox code so they could go in when I was at work. Basically my stove installer did not remove a plug that was blocking the gas. The person came in and fixed it in less than 15 minutes, but charged me for the full hour. When I asked why, he said "I have been up since 7". (this was around 730). I felt that I overpaid, but my problem was solved. I do not think this was fair though, and will not use this company in the future.

    RJ Graham Plumbing Inc
It took about an hour and 45 minutes to complete the work. I'm very happy with them and I would call them again. They were a little expensive but they did a good job. The office staff was top notch and friendly; and all staff was professional .
