    This company's customer service and in-the-field service is spectacular. I've had my treadmill for 9 years, and I do the routine maintenance, but I was concerned it could use a little more TLC. I scheduled a check-up right online. Service was prompt and priced fairly. The technician called me to let me know his findings, and I contacted the company back to get on the schedule annually because of their great service.

    I've worked with one-on-one Personal Trainers before, but that was when I was younger and had all the time in the world to work with a trainer.  I am a full-time nurse, single mother, and have limited time to work out.  I also have an old knee injury that has bothered me since my 20's, I'm going to be 50 this year, with my metabolism slowing down, I was really fretting.  John came highly recommended from a friend of mine that had used his online program with stellar success.  I was very doubtful going in, but with my busy schedule and being afraid to try any workout DVDs that I would further damage my knee, I decided he was my best option.  From the first contact with John, he asked numerous questions about goals, my current diet, my food preferences, time available to work out, and about my knee issues, he also asked for pictures. I just figured I was going to get a basic blueprint diet and a generic workout program with a few suggestions on how to do it safely for my knee.  What I received was a personal workout program catered to my body fitness. I have a strong upper body and am weaker in the legs. He gave me many ideas on how to strengthen my knee before my workouts safely.   There are exercises to even help straighten out my posture.  The workout program is designed for me as a goal fitness level.  He worked with me to teach me how to alter the exercises to fit my current fitness level and how to work my body into this fitness level, exercise by exercise. To listen to my body.  This way you have an exercise program that you don't have to relearn every couple weeks.  You work at your pace, safely.  
    When I received my nutrition plan it was a simple sample diet with lots of options to switch around.  It included many of my favorite foods with a little twist to make them healthier.  There was reasoning for not continuing eating foods that I was eating and simple substitutions.  Instead of giving me a map of what I was to eat each day, I was able to work with what I had in my refrigerator and gave me the knowledge to make menus myself.  Knowledge instead of a script.  I'm a nurse and I knew basically how to eat healthy, however not to the level I do now.
    Because of John's dedication to personalizing his plans and being a basic fitness god (in my book, at least), I am in great shape (for any age, let alone 50!) and for the first time in almost 30 years, my knee doesn't ache all the time and I can run again.  I was told by orthopedic surgeons to be gentle on the knee and that I would never run again.... well, they obviously haven't met John! ...

When I first began with Laura we met once a week, but now I work out with her three days a week (two one on one sessions and one small group class). I've recommended her to friends who now use her services and love her.  The best part is she is flexible with place/time and her service cost is reasonable.
