    I think he's sincere, very knowledgeable and very thorough. His office is very relaxing. He was actually a referral when we moved out here from a dentist that we had used out in Chicago. When we moved out here nine years ago I needed root canal and instead of going back and forth from Chicago to here, he actually referred me to this dentist and we've been going to him since.

    Moved back to the area and was looking for new dentist.
    Had my 6 month cleaning appointment and my hygienist Brittany was pleasant and explained everything efficiently. My cleaning was painless and I met Dr. Antolak during my exam. He did a thorough check of my mouth and luckily I had no cavities. He welcomed me to their practice and was friendly. The office itself is very new and modern with a very nice waiting room. Scheduled to go back in 6 months for my next cleaning appointment.

I had the name of Dr. Stern recommended to me, and it was a good move for me. He is very knowledgeable and very compassionate. I like everything about him, he has a nice staff, and I have gone through so many doctors that I have decided that I am taking the ones I like.

    I have only gone to him once. He did a good job with the cleaning. The staff was very friendly and very professional. The office environment was very nice too. He found some dental problems that my previous dentist had known. He was like a second opinion for me, and was very good at telling me what needed to be done. He backed up exactly what the other dentist had said.

    This dentistry treats me like an ATM. They never discuss the payment with you before the procedure is performed and you just have to live with handreds of dollars on your credit cards after EACH appointment. This dentistry scheduled me for an new patient's appointment quickly, which is the only reason I chose it in the first place. I had a new job and just moved here. I made an appointment for a regular cleansing, but it ran for 3 hours! They took hundreds of my photos and figured out many reasons to push me to get braces. They used up my allowances for x-rays so I couldn't go to another doctor this year. My husband was going to schedule the same appointment with this dentistry but I told him to find another dentist. The dentist (John Dano) never discussed a treatment plan before the procedure was performed on me. He said he found about 10 wholes in my teeth during my regular cleansing, so I scheduled 3 appointments to fill them. When I came in for the filling, he didn't discuss with me a treatment plan at all. After the procedure is done (I had no idea what he did to my teeth and I couldn't talk during the treatment), he INFORMED (not discussed with) me that I need to do a root canal and he had put in some temporary filling. He then threw me a brochure about root canal. I asked "is a root canal necessary?" He said "yes." Period! I tried to discuss the options and showed concerns about insurance coverage. He said "if you are concerned with payment, you should go to another dentist." Another reason that I will never use this dentist again is because I paid $390 for nothing. They scheduled an appointment for the root canal knowing that I will leave for a week long vacation on the same day. During the Christmas long weekend, I didn't feel very well and I realized that I will not have the strength to go through a root canal and packing for the vacation at the same time. I called to cancel the appointment (24 hours before the appointment) and left a message. I then called back 4 hours before the appointment to confirm the cancellation. They claimed that they never got my message and wanted to charge me half of the root canal cost, which is $390. I was most angered by the attitude of the business manager (who I've never seen before). She told me "either you come to the appointment or you will have $390 balance on your account." Then she hang up! I would rather pay the $390 than going back to that place again! If you are looking for a dentist who cares about the patients, he is definitely not the onw. I wish there were more reviews on the dentists, so I could make an informed decision when picking a dentist.

    I am very happy with him and my whole family goes to him. My son moved away to Chicago and he still takes the train to see him because he is so pleased with him. He is very professional and his staff is very efficient. They explain everything very carefully. I am pleased with him and I will continue going to him.

    The previous dentist that I was going to retired and the practice went to Dr. Hasken. I remained with Dr. Hasken from when he took over the practice. He is very thorough and gives me a good test. The staff also works on improving the health of my gums and teeth. They are thorough, efficient, and on time.
