    See the above statement. To summarize, I always waited for at least 45 minutes if not more in the office.
    My charges were never explained, they just sent bills.
    I had a cardiac cath that wasn't needed.

    For me, it was not good. I recently relocated to the area and needed an OB, but I'm disappointed in this one. For starters, you don't get to meet your potential doctor at your initial appointment, but you meet a couple nurses and even the bill collector? Then, when I explained this was not my first pregnancy, but due to certain reasons I was considered high risk, I was basically told that the nurse didn't think I was high risk and that my concerns were not a big deal. When I requested a first trimester screen, no one knew what I was referring to. When I explained my medical history complications with my first pregnancy, the nurse didn't even know what I was talking about. This experience was so foreign to me, I'm making an appointment at a different providers office with the hope that there will be a little more compassion, knowledge, and professionalism. Maybe I was spoiled by my first OB but I don't think that wanting to meet your doctor or that the explaination of your concerns should be frowned upon or dismissed.

    I have been going to Dr. Oestmann for several years now and I have been consistently happy. Good mannered and positive attitude. Highly recommend. LPC is clean and professional. The clinic is a great backup, if you can't get in to your doctor.

    I visited the office and set up a very definitive and carefully structured plan, which I followed assiduously and to the letter. Throughout my time with this medical service, I ran into problems with them filling prescriptions on time and effectively. Calls to the office were often hostile and usually involved staff that apparently had not reviewed my chart. Finally, they informed my pharmacy that they I was discontinued as a patient. No reason was given. This left me in the difficult situation of hastily trying to find a new doctor, and the humiliating situation of explaining to my pharmacy why I was and quot;firedand quot;.
    After this debacle, I were hit with a series of bills, all in excess of the plan we had arranged. We're still working that out.

    It was a big deal, about 4-5 hrs in surgery. But thi is after I tried everything else PT,drugs, 3 spinal injections . I had all the other procedures done near my home in southern Illinois . Dr. Sonjay took bone from my right hip, for grafts, cleaned up the mess in my back that was impinging on my nerves and put screws and rods in to stableize everything.

    I'm only 2 weeks post op but I van walk around the neighborhood, and so far, everything seems better each day.

    Dr Sonjay is very pleasant and will take the time to let you know what he is going to do.

    I do not feel it is appropriate to divulge all information.  However, we were both given thorough check-ups--weighed, blood pressure checked as well as lungs, heart etc & all problems were addressed including med refills as needed.  Referral & future appts were made and all information was given to us.

    I am very pleased with her. She is very easy to talk with about any problem you have. She communicates well. She has provided me with referrals to other doctors and I appreciate that. I trust her knowledge of who to send me too. She has done very well in that regard. Her staff is very professional. I have had no problems with billing.

    Everyone was very friendly and professional. Was able to get in the same day. The PRN actually listened!!  I didn't feel like we were being hurried along or just another number. It was like my daughter was their only patient...even though they were busy that day.  Fully a 5 star experience!!!! The one thing I really appreciated the most was the way they asked my daughter questions about herself, instead of me.

    I think she's an excellent doctor. No matter how I sign my name or write it they never get my last name right. They switch it around or leave part of it off, this has happened numerous times. Another thing that is really frustrating is that I can never get a prescription filled over the phone. They don't contact the company that sends the pills to me. There's always a mix up that is the staffs fault, they just don't follow through. Once you get to the doctor everything is fabulous, it's just dealing with the office stuff. Even though the doctor is really good, it shouldn't be such a hassle to get my meds. It has just become such a hassle that I don't think it's worth it. I'm sure there are other doctors that are just as excellent and I would not have this problem.

    He did his job, but was far too friendly. I don't mind a friendly doctor, but he was so friendly that he was very intrusive to my private life in ways that was not applicable to receiving the care required, and he made me INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. His actions, in my opinion, were very unprofessional and I would certainly tell people not to go to this Gynecologist.
