    Parker Electric Company, LLC
I was told the job would be done in 2 hours to replace 2 outlets and label my circuit breakers for a total of $300.00. Then I got a call that they couldn't label my circuit breakers because it would take an additional 4 hours. So for 20 minutes work I paid $190.00. I am wondering if they are only going to charge $110.00 for 4 hours.

This was an excellent experience. Neely’s Electric stayed with the job of moving my electric panel until the concrete repair was done behind the panel.

I contacted Ryan well in advance of the planned install, and he came out and explained to my wife the scope of work, while listening to our needs for future service. He gave us a very competitive quote compared to another company we called. He is licensed, insured and bonded, so you know he’s going to do the job right.

    SWITCH ELECTRICAL (formerly Jhart)
Arriving early and ready to work, we were very happy with the work done by J Hart. The ceiling fan was installed high off of our patio, not an easy job, but done well. There were 4 lights in garage and one in BR closet, also high ceilings, also done well. Very polite and considerate of our request for the jobs done. We would recommend J Hart to anyone needing electrical work. Thanks

    Porter Electric
Purchased an older home with significant wiring problems compounded over the years by the work of local handymen who call themselves electricians. We live outside the service area of most qualified electricians. After much research and contacts it became apparent that those that were available were most interested in HVAC system install/repair, and either didn’t have the skill set or interest in tackling other major residential electrical work. Porter Electric was the lone exception. The owner made the one-hour drive, quickly diagnosed our needs, and provided a free estimate that was very reasonable. His team arrived on schedule and went right to work upgrading our service and fixing various wiring problems. This included new exterior cabling, grounding rod, conduit inside and out, straightening out a jumbled wiring mess and installing a high quality panel at a more accessible location, establishing dedicated circuits and running new cables for the frig and two other appliances, and labeling the breakers after testing circuits throughout the home. I had forgotten to mention during the estimate a brownout issue on our porch due to that area combined on the same circuit as the HVAC blower fan. They ran a new dedicated HVAC cable at no extra charge. Finally, because of the pre-existing mess in the basement, my wife told them not to worry about cleaning up afterwards as she would do it. However, they cleaned it all up anyways (including a couple dead mice found in the insulation). Because of a good working relationship with the electrical company (Ameren), they were there on the spot to disconnect the service and there again later to reconnect. The entire job was completed in less than 6 hours. What a relief. Mr. Porter runs a tight ship and his team (licensed and trained union electricians), as well as their office manager were always respectful, accessible, friendly, highly skilled, and professional. These folks don’t take shortcuts, yet are very efficient and use quality materials.

    Sparky Electric
I accidentally cut the underground lines feeding a new building I was having built. I was using a backhoe and got too deep. Sparky came that same day repaired the lines that were cut and prepped the repaired lines for installation inside my new building. A true super hero on this job. Sparky is very courteous and professional with a great attention to detail. I later had Sparky wore my new building and it was another perfectly professional job.
