    He was very helpful and professional.  Gave a free inspection and estimate and we scheduled an appointment for the repair.  His estimate was on the nose. Took the van in and it was done before I expected.  Very happy with this place.  I have also gone to him to replace the motor for my power window.  Another quick turn around with a fair price.  My daughter has also used him a few times.  We HIGHLY recommend this place over any other in Macomb.

    They are very responsive to customer service needs. There's a young man in service who is extremely polite, takes care of all your needs, and arranges for rides home. While everything they did wasn't exactly right, they made sure it was done to my specifications when I questioned anything. So overall, a very good experience with a team that's trying hard.

    We had taken our Subaru to other mechanics in town for oil changes. One was less expensive than P and M, and it cost us once when the mechanic didn't put the oil filter on properly. Since then we have been happy with P and M. It's very convenient and we trust them. For problems they cannot handle they have urged us to do to the nearest Subaru shop in Peoria. It's a hassle but we know they are looking out for us.
    Sometimes there is a little dachshund dog in the office that yips a lot when you 're there to pick up keys and pay the bill. Cute but minor annoyance.

    Sonny is a GREAT mechanic, but the reason I go there is because I'm a female who knows nothing about cars and I TRUST Sonny. He's as honest as the day is long!!! Just know that because he's so good and so trustworthy, sometimes it's hard to get right in.....his loyal customers keep coming back and he's VERY busy!

    I am starting to get my finances back on track from years of struggling with minimum wage jobs, raising 2 kids alone for a while, then marrying (and divorcing) a dead beat. I am in need of a vehicle and understand that I am a "risk" but there a places to help people get back on track. I thought this was place that would help me get a jump start on a brighter future. I tried not to get my hopes up, I will not get my self in a bind again with payments. I have a good job, but things are slow in the winter. I had so many mixed emotions....I looked and looked at all the vehicles, that I thought I might be able to afford, on the auto credit's website. I made a list and Submitted my application. Within a few hours I had a voice mail from them. (I couldn't answer at the time.) I called the next afternoon and said I would be in some time on Saturday, depending on the weather.
    To make a long, boring story short......
    He told me he could not finance any of the vehicles on my list because they had too high mileage......Then why were they on your website? He just made one excuse after another and could not get me payment lower than $350ish. He wouldn't even tell me what my interest rate would be. He said he didn't know, that it depends on the vehicle.....How could he give me a payment amount without knowing the interest rate?
    When I first walked in the door the vibe was very tense. It is a very small building with 3 desks and a few chairs around. 3 workers, 1 man 2 women. None of them looked happy at all. This just was not a pleasant experience. But it help me decide to be a little patient and just get some things fixed on my car. I don't need a vehicle that bad. I'll wait, my credit score continues to rise and there will come a day when I won't ever have to go to a place like that. I am glad they are there for people who need them, If only the experience would have been a little  better.

    Sonney Meredith is truly a professional. He knows how to work on a variety of vehicles and has years of experience. He is willing to explain any procedure or problem in depth if asked. I have never had such good work or customer service anywhere.

    The change happened, but we had a leak afterwards. The oil drain plug wasn't tightened all of the way. It seems we weren't the only one with that problem. They did tighten it and checked the levels without problem and it didn't leak after that.

    The car was taken to 101 at the beginning of December 2012 and the repairs were not finished until late January 2013.  The body work actually done by 101 was very good but there were several things that were contracted out such as the muffler/tailpipe.  I had to take the vehicle back to 101 to have the muffler/tailpipe adjusted so it would drag when going up an incline such as a steep driveway.  I took it back twice for problems with the tailgate latch.  I had to have it fixed by another garage for a problem with the rear wheel.  I also had to have another garage fix the light on the gear shift that 101 said it never had a light and the other mechanic fixed for free.  It seems that most of the problems were things that were supposed to be fixed by the places 101 contracted out to.  If I were to use 101 again it would be only for body work.

    They have a reputation of being honest and do not take out unnecessary parts. They sent the rotors home with me to show my husband what shape they were in. They were fast in the repairs and I would recommend them. It was easy to get an appointment as well and the price seemed reasonable.
