    Our wall was moved out on our garage when they replaced our sill plate creating a gap in our cement garage floor and garage door frame. The cement sidewalk was supposed to be done immediately after to protect the new sill plate, it took 6 weeks. Our salesman said the company who was contracted to do the work couldn't because of the cement shortage.  We asked three times what company he contacted, and he couldn't remember their name. The salesman had a friend do the cement work, he had a wheelbarrow, shovel and sacks of cement from Home Depot. We paid premium price for less then quality materials.
    They replaced our soffit vents and added new ones. The new vents were to be painted before being put up but our salesman painted them after.  The new vents were bent on one end and did not fit securely to the soffit.  We wanted them redone but the General Manager said they were done correctly and had our salesman put in two additional screws to correct the bent vents.  In doing so, he bent the fins on the vents and now it's twice as bad as before.  We will have to replace them ourselves next spring, and because they are painted to the soffit we will have to pry them off.  Again we paid premium price.
    They had to redo our soffit wood three times and our fascia wood was replaced when they did the gutters and failed to prime the wood after we told our salesman repeatedly that the fascia had to be primed BEFORE the gutters were put up.  The fascia had to be done twice.  They had to do the corner gutter three times and now there is a buildup of chalk in the corner gutter which could create the same problem we had before which caused the damage to our soffit and fascia wood in the first place.
    Our salesman finished doing the ridge vent shingles two days after the roof was done because he said they ran out of shingles.  When he left he said the ridge vent was done, he wouldn't need the remaining shingles, we could keep them. After he left, we noticed a difference in the ridge vent and when we called him to inform him of the two different ridge vents being used, he was surprised.  I called the company and informed them I didn't want our salesman to replace the ridge vent, we wanted an experienced roofer to do the repair.  The General Manager overrode my objections and had the salesman do the repair.  We had no say in who works on our house.  

    I called the General Manager to tell him of our grievances after the soffit vents and the unprimed fascia.  Before we signed the contract with Baney, we asked our salesman several times if they subcontracted the work out and he assured us that all work was done by Baney employees.  I wanted to speak with the crew who did the fascia to find out where the lack of communication was.  The General Manager said that wouldn't happen, he was abrupt, rude, wouldn't let me speak, and kept interrupting me. When I asked him who his boss was, he refused to tell me.  We only found out later by accident that they subcontracted the gutters out.  After all the mistakes, they had a different company do the work and we aren't allowed to know what the instructions were.  No apologies from anyone at Baney, only disrespect from the General Manager.
    Too many problems to go into great detail or it would take three pages.  Numerous phones calls unreturned including to the owner, work we will have to redo ourselves next spring.  It took 11 weeks from signing the contract to completion.  It was a nightmare we thought would never end.  We would NOT recommend Baney, they get an F from us.

    We were able to contact the owner of Baney, Jeremiah, from his response to our review. He did remedy our remaining problems with the home repairs and did adjust our bill accordingly. I cannot in good conscience give them anything more than a C due to continuous problems, but Jeremiah did an excellent job of fixing the problems with putting up new soffits with vents, fixing the problems with the ridge vent, and having the gutter people back to fix leaking of gutters. Thank you Jeremiah for resolving these issues.

    I signed the contract and gave them a down payment of $1100.00. I haven't heard from them, and then finally reached them after repeated phone calls. They said they were booked up hail damage work and had difficulty getting materials. Ariel is the owner, and he told me a couple of weeks ago that he would be out in a couple of weeks. He asked me to be patient, and I have been. I'm growing frustrated now, because they're sitting on $1100 that could be sitting in my bank account.

    He even had a tech from Alsides Windows come down from WI. The tech claimed there wasnt any issue with the window itself but the problem could have been due to the installation. We, along with the technician tried contacting the owner. None of my phone calls were ever returned. Finally in July of 2013, we had the window replaced at the cost of $3000. We were told that the installation of the bay/bow by C&F Company was completely asinine. Instead of building a new frame, the used the original opening, hung the window at a downward slant, did not insulate around the window and apparently the window had been dropped before installation. So, we had to fork out a LOT of money for 1 bay/bow window. If the owner had been a man of his word and considering he made $16,000 off of us, he would have done everything possible to work with us to correct the problem. He chose not to. Another issue, we ended up having to pick up a half a coffee can of nails from all around the house. Shingle nails, siding nails, insulation nails,...

    My wife and I were looking for a contractor to install siding and replacement windows. We went to the local home show and expressed our need to several contractors who were present. We met with and received quotes from many contractors. 
    Ariel Zmijewski, the owner of GF Company, came out to our house to meet with us. Ariel was straightforward and honest. We knew almost immediately we wanted Ariel and his crew to do the work on our house. GF Company's product, prices and workmanship are very good. GF workers represent their company very well with customer relations and detail. We are extremely happy with the end result of our house. It is beautiful. Our neighbor also had his home sided by GF Company this summer and his home also looks beautiful. We highly recommend GF Company.

    Pros: Very happy with overall quality of the work.  They installed new garage lights for free.
    Cons: Slow to respond to minor adjustment after work was declared finished.  I had to call 3 times and it took 2.5 weeks before it was addressed.  I should have held off paying until it was done.
    Before the job began I listed out all my concerns.  I showed Angelo and asked him to replace two wood boards that had rotted before siding was installed.  I discovered later that the boards were not replaced.
    Job was finished on a Friday.  Angelo called and left a message that day that the work was done and payment was due.  Angelo called next day (Saturday) but did not leave message.  Angelo stopped by my house the next day (Sunday) during the Bears game and I paid the balance - Angel said he was in the neighborhood.  No matter, to be contacted 3 times for payment and not even one business day had passed is very unprofessional.  Very unprofessional.

    Professional work. Trustworthy. Job completed in a timely manner without myself being around.I would recommend to friends.  Neighbors have complimented on the job.Note: Since the new siding is quite a bit thicker I have had to put adapters on my outdoor faucets and one faucet will have to be changed. (it needs changing anyway) Just something you might want to look into ahead of time to make sure your hoses will fit.

    Did not use this company. Between poor communication, inefficiency, forgetfulness, no attention to detail and price, I did not trust them to complete the work to my satisfaction. Would NOT recommend them to anyone else.

    There were never any proposals dropped off with estimates for a new roof at our home as Mr.Toby Lask had promised after our meeting.So no work took place.Mr.Angelo Nicolosi, also from Lask Roofing did however give us a proposal for the vinyl siding which we were happy with.We called the lady in the office at Lask  twice and she informed us Toby was probably running behind and didn't have time to drop them off.We called a 3rd time telling the lady in the office  we still had no roofing proposals finally we concluded they just didn't want our business.We found out later from Angelo the lady at Lask was not only his daughter,but Toby's wife, So what?Lack of communication? We did use Lask yrs ago at a rental property had some problems with some of the workers,Angelo was the gentleman we dealt with,some things were not done properly and Mr. Angelo Nicolosi straightened it out in the end,so we figured that was settled after what 10yrs? Anyway,appears not.  I mean what company has employees replacing windows going around the house breaking out the glass with hammers,as proposed to removing frame and glass?They also covered up my roof peak vents with vinyl siding,and tried to tell me they never existed,I lived in the residence for 12 yrs.I did however state that Angelo stepped up and made it right,and that is why I gave them another call.

    We are very happy with Buckshot Exteriors.  The salesman, Brad Marshall,  showed up for the quote appointment promptly, was neatly dressed, and had a clean truck with company logos on it.  During the appointment he took a lot of measurements, asked a lot of questions, and reviewed the job requirements with me very thoroughly.  He expressed a confidence in their abilities to do a good job without bragging.  I could tell that he started out as a siding installer because he knew many details about the job that could only come from hands-on experience.  Their quote was $9,600.00, which put them in the middle of the pack.  I signed the contract and gave him 1/2 down.  He was honest and said they were quite busy, so it could be as much as a month before they could get to the job.  About 3 weeks later the materials showed up and were neatly stacked in our driveway.  A few days after that the crew showed up.  As the crew set up for the job the foreman went over the requirements in great detail and made notes for the crew.  The crew of 3 guys were polite, professional, and very fast.  They cleaned up the work site at the end of each day.  The job took about 3 days from start to finish.  Brad came back a week or so later to make sure that we were happy, and I hired Buckshot to do some additional work on the spot without getting other quotes.  I will use them again, and I will recommend them to others.

    The new roof and siding look great. it improves the look of my house and I know what it's time to re-sell having a 30 year roof will be a good selling point. I would use Dave and DT construction in the future for any roofing or siding jobs. I see a lot of competitors signs in my neighbors yards and mine is the only roof done and in a timely manner.
