It was a very positive experience. Everyone we dealt with were super friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Bath Planet to anyone. They took the time to make sure it was done right. They came in at 8 am and didn't stop until it was done. (about 6 pm) They were polite and exacting.

Bob The Builder has been a blessing for us. His technical proficiency in going from 'total gut' to 'wow remodel' has been amazing. In addition to having years of experience remodeling, he has two MAJOR qualities that are refreshing: excellent communications (written and verbal), and 'outside-the' box problem solving. Bob was very attentive in check listing my lengthy 'to do' projects list, and has a wonderful sense of humor in applying his MacGyver skill sets for some of the challenges he encountered in this condo remodel. I point out that these projects were expected to have additional costs as issues were encountered (like complete replacement of bathroom flooring underlayment, and expense of trash disposal), were budgeted accordingly, and every time Bob was able to handle them while being mindful of economics. I was grateful that at certain points in these stages of remodeling, Bob diplomatically came up with suggestions (like installing flat floor registers instead of bulky space-taking triangular registers) and helped stimulate my thoughts and budget for alternative approaches. I felt Bob valued me when he would also call me to inquire as to my timetables and how that would fit in with other clients he was taking on--gee, do you know how many contractors I've dealt with over the years that promise one thing, get my money, and seem to disappear for long periods of time without a word?! Bob is also a hero to me as he picked up an electrical issue that I am now more economically taking care of by installing gas lines and a gas range. Bob is well worth his professional fees, and is a rare contractor who provided detailed invoices. He thrives on being a one-man get-it-done with pride, quality and definitely integrity. Thanks to Bob for projects well done!

It went terrific.  The worker was fine.  He was efficient.  He did what he said he would do in a timely manner.  They left the area fine.  I was surprised it didn't take too long.

I absolutely loved working with Sharon and John Beyer.  They listened to what I wanted, took older family member's needs into consideration, and always took care of any issues with materials first hand.  Menards had delivered a damaged cabinet and a damaged countertop.  John took all the necessary steps needed to correct the situation, and communicated to Menards that the carelessness showed by some of their employees, was unacceptable.  John and Sharon had our best interests in mind during the entire project.  John and his right hand man, Steve, did a lot of extra things they didn't have to do.  They installed the new hardware for our curtains, added a solid step to our entry way in the garage, set up our kitchen so it could be some what functional over the Christmas holiday, because we were still in mid-construction, and also when the wrong cabinet was delivered from Menards, Beyer let us keep it and they installed it in the laundry room for extra storage.  The contractor that layed the tile recommended a different grout color than we had originally picked out, and it's perfect.  He also took it upon himself to recommend the layout for the tile.

If you have pets, these are the people you want to work on your house.  My dog and my cat really liked these guys, almost to the point I thought my Cocker Spaniel was going to go home with them.  I highly recommend John & Sharon Beyer, Steve, and the other contractors they use for all of your home improvement needs.  In fact I have a few projects I want to tackle now that the kitchen is done, and John and Sharon will be my first call.  If the project is something they typically don't handle, I know any subcontractors they recommend will not disappoint.

In the end, we ended up with a kitchen we fell in love with, and new friends, that will just happen to be our first call with any other home improvement projects.

John & Sharon, thank you so much for the thought and care you put into our kitchen remodel.  You'll be hearing from me soon.

    Love you guys!!

We purchased a walk-in tub from BathPlanet of Chicagoland in September of 2013, and installation was done on October 29, 2013.  They were called back twice immediately after the install because there were leaks after their installation.  It was like pulling teeth to get them to schedule a time to come out.

Now, Sunday, August 3, 2014 the waste/overflow assembly on the walk-in tub, broke off from the tub when opening the drain after a bath.  I called the 800 number that night and BathPlanet of Chicagoland called us back on Monday, August 4.  The representative on the phone said that the sales manager would get back to us within 24 to 48 hours, and that he is the only one that schedules all of the service calls.  We ended up having to call back instead.  Then, the sales person waited until Wednesday, August 6th to inform my mother that he had to find out if it was something BathPlanet had to repair or if American Standard had to do it.

Charlie from American Standard contacted my mother immediately on Wednesday, August 6th.  He instructed us to take pictures of the items that needed repair and to email them to him.  That afternoon I called Charlie and discussed our issues and I come to find out that American Standard has nothing to do with the repairs and installation except to get parts to the installer.  BathPlanet made it sound like they had to find out whether they or American Standard was responsible for the work.  If American Standard is only the manufacturer, which they are, installation is not their responsibility.

In my conversation with Charlie, I find out that I have a fiberglass tub, instead of the acrylic tub I was supposed to get.  I feel that I was misinformed by BathPlanet when I signed the contract, because all the documentation I have is for the installation of an acrylic tub and I was told that there was a lifetime warranty, but never received specific documentation.  American Standard informed me that the components on an fiberglass tub are under warranty for 5 years, the tub for 10 years, and the seal on the tub is lifetime.  If it was an acrylic tub, the components would be under warranty for 10 years, the tub for 15, and the seal having a lifetime warranty.

BathPlanet advertises a Lifetime Warranty and they have it written in on my contract, but the warranty details on the back of the contract are vague and I honestly don't know what BathPlanet has warrantied for a lifetime.

We never received an owner's manual for the tub, until my conversation with Charlie at American Standard, who was nice enough to email me a copy of it.  Also, I didn't find out until Wednesday, August 6th 2014 that the wrong tub was installed.

Charlie shipped the parts needed to BathPlanet on Thursday, August 7th, 2 day air, to be received by Monday, August 11th.  At that time he suggested to me that I should call BathPlanet back as soon as possible to get scheduled for the service call.  So I call on Friday morning, August 8th to set this up, and the receptionist informs me that the sales person is on vacation and that he was the only person that could schedule the service call.

We called twice the Monday, August 11th,  to check with BathPlanet to confirm that the parts were there.  The sales manager told us that the parts weren't there, and at 2:00 told my mom that he received all the parts for the day that he would be receiving, and that our parts were not there.  He mentioned to her that he would schedule a service call with us as soon as he received the parts.  I contacted Charlie at American Standard and asked him to forward me a copy of the delivery confirmation.  Parts were to arrive at BathPlanet of Chicagoland by 4:30 PM Monday, August 11th.

I called, again, on Tuesday, August 12, at 12:00 PM to check to make sure the parts had arrived.  The sales manager gets on the phone and tells me the parts aren't there.  He wasn't even going to bother to check until I told him that American Standard forwarded me the delivery confirmation stating that the parts would be there by 4:30 PM on Monday, August 11th.  The sales manager then reluctantly said, "I can take a look in the back and see if they are here."  Ya think?  So he unwillingly gets off the phone and goes to check and see if the parts are there, and low and behold, he has them.

So I proceed to ask him to get us scheduled for the repairs, then he tells me that the owner, Dimitris Nacopoulos is the one that schedules all of the service calls, and he wasn't in.  He then tells me that Dimitris mentioned to him that they probably wouldn't be able to get anybody out until next week because none of his installers are available until then.  Since the sales manager obviously couldn't help me or didn't want to help me, he asked if I would like Dimitris' voicemail and I said something along the lines of I guess I have no choice.  So instead of being transferred to Dimitris' voicemail, I get a busy signal and have no choice but to hang up.

I called back immediately and briefly explained the situation to the person who answered the phone, and left a detailed message, stressing my concerns, for Dimitris to get back to me as soon as possible.  He gets back to us and tells us it's going to be about a week.  Finally, their installer comes 3 weeks later, they failed to inform him that he was replacing the the drain/overflow assembly for a walk in tub.  He thought he was coming to repair the drain for a shower surround.  So they sent him without the parts from a location almost 80 miles away from us.  So, he is forced to come the next day to finish the job.  My mother was very upset at this point and the installer (an outside contractor) got the brunt of it.  He didn't deserve it but we were fed up.  So not only do they treat their customers like crap, they treat their contractors like crap.

If BathPlanet of Chicagoland has a lifetime warranty, they should honor it.  I feel like we were ingnored because we already paid for the the tub, and since this was a repair, and they have a lifetime warranty, they don't want to bother sending people out for the repairs.

We have 1 bathroom and went 18 days without a tub, that my mom needed.  I should also be entitled to BathPlanet covering any component costs for the bathtub, and the tub itself for an additional 5 years after American Standard's warranty has expired, because I paid for an acrylic tub with a 10 year warranty on components, and a 15 year warranty on the tub, but received a fiberglass tub instead with only a 5 year warranty on components & 10 year warranty on the tub.  Again, I was not aware of this until my contact with American Standard and after receiving a copy of the Owner's Manual from them, that specifically talks about the warranty.

The projects took a bit longer than initially planned, however, we are completely satisfied with the work performed. There were a few issues along the way, but nothing that did not get addressed and corrected as needed. The crew was very responsive and made sure all work was performed to our satisfaction before signing off the jobs. During the entire remodel, which was over several months, there was always care taken to lay down tarps to walk, and plastic sheeting hung to try and contain dust and debris from getting into other rooms. Everyone was always polite and on and off the job daily and on time. I would use this contractor again as well as recommend them to others.

Provider completed entire house. Replaced bathrooms, bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and windows. The provider did the hardwood floor as well, but used a separate contractor for the carpeting. Very pleased with services...completed on time and stayed in budget! The owner was very honest, professional and gave us a daily update. I would use T Moore Construction for all of our future needs and recommend him to our family and friends.

The job went very smooth. Trent and his workers were professional, courteous and got the job completely finished on time. I'm very happy with the finished basement and bathroom as they were beyond what I expected. Any time I need work done around the house from now on, I'll call on T Moore Construction.

Not knowing where to start was intimidating.  They walked us through the process and answered any questions we had.  They helped with everything.  We went together to the major home improvement stores and looked at options for the bathroom.  They showed us options that would work for our needs and style we were looking for.  They went to the stores to buy the items necessary so we didn't have to worry about what to get and how to get it home.  We were away from home for part of the time and we were able to feel comfortable about the work they were doing while we were gone.  We are looking forward to having them do more work in our home.

Remodeling is always an inconvience.  If you go into a kitchen remodel knowing that it will be 2 months and you won't have a kitchen to use or that you'll have dust EVERYWHERE for a couple of weeks, you'll be fine.  All the guys were very nice to work with.  Steve checked in regularly to view the progress.  If we had a concern or something wasn't right they were easy to get a hold of and corrected the issue straight away.  For example, the one set of cabinet shelves were the wrong size.  We let them know and the were reordered and sent directly to our home.  They kept their work area clean (well, as clean as you could).   I would definately recommend them.
