All interaction and work was done by Pete. Reasons for our rating: - His initial materials estimate was way off. He said we would need: 2 Reducers and 2 T-molds. We actually needed: 0 Reducers, 5 T-molds, and 2 Stair Noses. So we had to make multiple trips back to the box store for purchases and exchanges. - He did not finish the work we paid him for! We had to buy an additional transition piece (because his estimate was incorrect) and he never came back to install it. After contacting him multiple times over a month and a half and expressing my frustration that it wasn't done, he said "if you would of had all your materials when I started the job, it would of been done a month and a half ago." I would have had all the materials if the estimate was correct... - He had given us an estimate and agreed to do our stairs. The online material order arrived later than expected. But 2 months passed and he never came to install it. I contacted him numerous times asking when he could come finish the stairs. He initially responded with excuses "I'm sick." "I'm behind schedule." Then finally texted me "you would prolly be better off looking for someone else to do them." - He broke a floor tile in our tiled entry way. He did not tell us about it until I contacted him to ask what happened. After it was clear that he was not returning to finish the work in our home, I reminded him that he had agreed to reimburse us for getting the tile replaced. He was initially very reluctant and argued with me about it. But he eventually sent a money order. - I came home to find a very visible amount of blood smeared on the white door frame after he installed our bathroom flooring. Disgusting that he didn't bother to clean that up. - excessive swearing (including F-word) during work - cigarette butt left in the driveway - installed at least one damaged plank - installed at least two planks that visibly have his permanent marker marks on - I had to ask him to fix some areas where the gap the left between the flooring and drywall was too large Overall extremely unprofessional. Spend more money to have a reputable company do your work!

Bob The Builder has been a blessing for us. His technical proficiency in going from 'total gut' to 'wow remodel' has been amazing. In addition to having years of experience remodeling, he has two MAJOR qualities that are refreshing: excellent communications (written and verbal), and 'outside-the' box problem solving. Bob was very attentive in check listing my lengthy 'to do' projects list, and has a wonderful sense of humor in applying his MacGyver skill sets for some of the challenges he encountered in this condo remodel. I point out that these projects were expected to have additional costs as issues were encountered (like complete replacement of bathroom flooring underlayment, and expense of trash disposal), were budgeted accordingly, and every time Bob was able to handle them while being mindful of economics. I was grateful that at certain points in these stages of remodeling, Bob diplomatically came up with suggestions (like installing flat floor registers instead of bulky space-taking triangular registers) and helped stimulate my thoughts and budget for alternative approaches. I felt Bob valued me when he would also call me to inquire as to my timetables and how that would fit in with other clients he was taking on--gee, do you know how many contractors I've dealt with over the years that promise one thing, get my money, and seem to disappear for long periods of time without a word?! Bob is also a hero to me as he picked up an electrical issue that I am now more economically taking care of by installing gas lines and a gas range. Bob is well worth his professional fees, and is a rare contractor who provided detailed invoices. He thrives on being a one-man get-it-done with pride, quality and definitely integrity. Thanks to Bob for projects well done!

There was a wait but I expected that. The guys doing it were cool and it was done in a few days once started. David was also super helpful after the floors were done getting me a good deal on rugs. I would rec. them.

Steve did a wonderful job bringing our floors back to life. Our home is older. It was built in 1946. We had been undecided about refinishing them because we wanted to make sure we found someone who did excellent work and that we could trust in our home. Steve had his work cut out for him with our floors. We had planks going in more than one direction, large dips in some areas, stains, you name it we had it. Steve worked very hard to make sure our floors turned out beautiful. He showed up everyday on time and got right to work. Chris also was a big help with answering all of my questions. She let me know what I needed to use for our floors to stay fabulous! We are very pleased with the work Blue Ribbon Premier hardwoods done for us. I even gained a new favorite radio station by listening to what Steve had on his radio :-)

The projects took a bit longer than initially planned, however, we are completely satisfied with the work performed. There were a few issues along the way, but nothing that did not get addressed and corrected as needed. The crew was very responsive and made sure all work was performed to our satisfaction before signing off the jobs. During the entire remodel, which was over several months, there was always care taken to lay down tarps to walk, and plastic sheeting hung to try and contain dust and debris from getting into other rooms. Everyone was always polite and on and off the job daily and on time. I would use this contractor again as well as recommend them to others.

My husband likes the products. He shows him examples that he really likes and he's available to do our projects.  He's going to finish the project before he starts another one.  I think the cost is good.  I think that he gets to people quickly.  He's available to do one project at a time.  He can dedicate himself to what project you have and not have a multiple project because he's finishing some other projects right now and then he'll be starting on ours and I think that's a big deal.

The handyman that came out was excellent with everything he did. I paid $400 for the first day, which was a full day's work and then $200 for the second day, which was for about five hours. He was very personable. He knew what he was doing. He told me about the things that he was unsure of, he told me right up front and told me what he would recommend on those jobs. So I had somebody else do the little things that he didn't do but he was very up front about that. He didn't charge me for any of the running ground he did. He was very good in his pricing.

My bathroom floor substain massive water damage, so bad that the floor around the toliet was caving in around the toliet. Brian came in gave me an estimate which in my opinion was very reasonable. He then started work within a week. He started and finished on time. I have to say that he was wonderful taste because he picked out my flooring which matched my bathtub perfectly. Job well done.

It went very well. Rich was very responsive and got back to me right away. His estimate was $150 lower than the first quote I got. He was very nice and also trustworthy. I left he and his associate alone while I ran errands for a few hours. They did a great job and were friendly and worked quickly.

Wood floor arrived day before installation as discussed. When installation was nearly completed, Tom, the installer, noticed that three boxes were the incorrect color. He discussed with me a possible new time line, determined the best time of day, and the area I wanted to hold off doing until later. Also, the sales person contacted me and set up the best time to install the carpet (one room only until the new wood arrived) when the correct wood would arrive, and any issues I had. Both continued to contact me to verify my satisfaction once the wood and carpet were completed.
