Bob The Builder has been a blessing for us. His technical proficiency in going from 'total gut' to 'wow remodel' has been amazing. In addition to having years of experience remodeling, he has two MAJOR qualities that are refreshing: excellent communications (written and verbal), and 'outside-the' box problem solving. Bob was very attentive in check listing my lengthy 'to do' projects list, and has a wonderful sense of humor in applying his MacGyver skill sets for some of the challenges he encountered in this condo remodel. I point out that these projects were expected to have additional costs as issues were encountered (like complete replacement of bathroom flooring underlayment, and expense of trash disposal), were budgeted accordingly, and every time Bob was able to handle them while being mindful of economics. I was grateful that at certain points in these stages of remodeling, Bob diplomatically came up with suggestions (like installing flat floor registers instead of bulky space-taking triangular registers) and helped stimulate my thoughts and budget for alternative approaches. I felt Bob valued me when he would also call me to inquire as to my timetables and how that would fit in with other clients he was taking on--gee, do you know how many contractors I've dealt with over the years that promise one thing, get my money, and seem to disappear for long periods of time without a word?! Bob is also a hero to me as he picked up an electrical issue that I am now more economically taking care of by installing gas lines and a gas range. Bob is well worth his professional fees, and is a rare contractor who provided detailed invoices. He thrives on being a one-man get-it-done with pride, quality and definitely integrity. Thanks to Bob for projects well done!

This Co. installed 8 new interior doors in our home. They left the job unfinished, were very arrogant & left a mess in our garage. They should be put out of business permanently, -3 doors installed incorrectly!

I absolutely loved working with Sharon and John Beyer.  They listened to what I wanted, took older family member's needs into consideration, and always took care of any issues with materials first hand.  Menards had delivered a damaged cabinet and a damaged countertop.  John took all the necessary steps needed to correct the situation, and communicated to Menards that the carelessness showed by some of their employees, was unacceptable.  John and Sharon had our best interests in mind during the entire project.  John and his right hand man, Steve, did a lot of extra things they didn't have to do.  They installed the new hardware for our curtains, added a solid step to our entry way in the garage, set up our kitchen so it could be some what functional over the Christmas holiday, because we were still in mid-construction, and also when the wrong cabinet was delivered from Menards, Beyer let us keep it and they installed it in the laundry room for extra storage.  The contractor that layed the tile recommended a different grout color than we had originally picked out, and it's perfect.  He also took it upon himself to recommend the layout for the tile.

If you have pets, these are the people you want to work on your house.  My dog and my cat really liked these guys, almost to the point I thought my Cocker Spaniel was going to go home with them.  I highly recommend John & Sharon Beyer, Steve, and the other contractors they use for all of your home improvement needs.  In fact I have a few projects I want to tackle now that the kitchen is done, and John and Sharon will be my first call.  If the project is something they typically don't handle, I know any subcontractors they recommend will not disappoint.

In the end, we ended up with a kitchen we fell in love with, and new friends, that will just happen to be our first call with any other home improvement projects.

John & Sharon, thank you so much for the thought and care you put into our kitchen remodel.  You'll be hearing from me soon.

    Love you guys!!

Not knowing where to start was intimidating.  They walked us through the process and answered any questions we had.  They helped with everything.  We went together to the major home improvement stores and looked at options for the bathroom.  They showed us options that would work for our needs and style we were looking for.  They went to the stores to buy the items necessary so we didn't have to worry about what to get and how to get it home.  We were away from home for part of the time and we were able to feel comfortable about the work they were doing while we were gone.  We are looking forward to having them do more work in our home.

I told Ariel at our first meeting " If I am spending money like this I expect perfection". Ariel and his staff did just that and more. Always returned my phone calls, he kept me informed and up to date on the materials. We had some weather issues this year but that only delayed a few days. Once the weather cooperated , the guys were on it and had it all said and done in less than a week. We had our roof replaced and installed solar powered roof vents , new gutters and downspouts. We also needed a new patio door. Our house has a east(front) and west(back) setting and the kitchen is in the back so you can imagine try to keep the kitchen comfortable to cook in the warmer months and warm in the cooler months with the wicked northwest winds. We chose a sliding triple pane door. Ariel suggested we tint it to cut back on the sun rays. You can't even tell there is a tint until you open the door. If a door could be pretty, this works for us. This is no door you go buy all put together and pop in, Ariel had to assemble then install it. The door in completely trimmed and sealed to which we will probably never have to replace.
Our intent when we started this project was to do the better job with everything and Ariel understood that. We are so pleased with the work he has done , he will be the first one we call for the next project.

Sales person came out and measured patio
door and gave me a price in mid Nov. Excepted price at 1800.00.
Approximately a week later an installation person came out to house and verified door opening before order
sent in to have patio door made.
My current patio door was larger than the standard 6 ft. door. The house was
built with option of using French doors or a patio door so the opening was
    larger than standard.
Was quoted delivery and installation mid-January.
Received call from KOBYCO mid-week of Dec 10 that installation would take place
    Dec 17, 2012 at 8:30 AM
Installation crew arrived around 8:40 AM and started taking old patio door out
    and installing new one.
    Old patio door removed.
The new patio door required a new frame be built to secure it.
Installed weather stripping along bottom of new frame before patio door installation.
Installed new Patio door.  Opening to outside closed in about 30-45 min.
The sliding door in the new patio door had to be left open for them to come and
go from kitchen to outside so furnace was off for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
Check door frame for square and adjusted as much as possible. The problem was
the frame was so tight to the new patio door there was not much adjusting
Insulated with foam around outer and inner patio door frame.
Installed previous molding removed during removal of old patio door.
If I have any complaint it is being not being carefully enough to detail in the
    installation of the inside molding.
The outside aluminum trim for frame was expertly done and great attention to
    detail was obvious.
Job was finished within about 3 - 3 1/2 hours.
The patio screen did not have the required lock that I purchased so that is
    still to be installed.
Cleaned up all the old patio door and miscellaneous pieces left over from installation
Over all the job was done very well and efficiently
and I have had no complaints with installation or door.  Date 12/28/2012

I had contacted Mike as well as one other carpenter to give me an estimate for replacement of a garage service door. He responded promptly and gave me the best quote. When we initially met to discuss the service door, I also asked him to quote me install on a new storm door. It turned out that my brother volunteered to install the service door for me, but I then contacted Mike for installation of the storm door. Since I do not have a vehicle in which I could haul the new door, Mike was kind enough to offer picking it up for me. He picked up the new door, showed up at exactly the appointed time, worked continuously and did a great job on the install. He also cleaned everything up afterwards. I decided to tip him for picking up the door, as it was not a timed job and he used his own vehicle and gas. I will definitely use him again, as I think he's responsible, fair and very well as a nice guy!

GF Siding took some time to got out to do work, had small issues with existing siding no longer available.  GF Siding worked with us and we were able to come up with something very close to original.

This was a wonderful experience for my husband and I.  We expect "near" perfection when we hire a job done, and Kirt and Sean lived up to that.  Besides their excellent craftsmanship, they were friendly, great at communicating with us, and the job was done in a timely manner.  You will not be sorry to hire these 2 guys, because they take pride in their work and it shows!!

The handyman that came out was excellent with everything he did. I paid $400 for the first day, which was a full day's work and then $200 for the second day, which was for about five hours. He was very personable. He knew what he was doing. He told me about the things that he was unsure of, he told me right up front and told me what he would recommend on those jobs. So I had somebody else do the little things that he didn't do but he was very up front about that. He didn't charge me for any of the running ground he did. He was very good in his pricing.
