A to Z was very professional and made sure to do a great job. They took the time to do the work right and took pride in a job well done. I was kept informed of progress and any issues along the way. I could not be happier with the work and would recommend A to Z to anyone.

It went fantastic! I was absolutely stunned to see this negative rating on Angies List as I think this company is fabulous. I had a difficult time finding someone to do this countertop/granite repair. When I called DJ Granite, Derek answered the phone and I knew right then that Id found a winner. He was pleasant, helpful and understood my issue immediately assuring me he could help. He came the next day right on time. He fixed the problem expertly, cleaned up and was incredibly service oriented. The best!!

    Winchell Woodworking
The final result was better than I could have pictured. Without a designer, David and I worked together to achieve a beautiful kitchen that is so much more functional than it was before. The difference is night and day in both appearance and practicality. Davids dedication to executing the project to completion, all the while maintaining a very high level of attention to detail, is exactly what I would hope for in a contractor executing an extensive project. I received rave reviews during the unveiling on Christmas Eve!

    Winchell Woodworking
My project is still in progress, but up to this point, my experience with Winchell Woodworking has been beyond excellent. Dave's very close attention to detail and skillfulness have been instrumental in the success of my project so far. His work is exceptional and his professional, always-pleasant attitude and personality make him so great to work with. He offered very good suggestions on design in some challenging areas of my kitchen and I can't wait to see the completed implementation of his ideas in my new space!

Project went well.  Little slow getting to our project but it was fine.  He had a lot projects lined up and we were willing to wait.  Our project started as agreed.  Most of the work was done in a continuous full work week.  Some final tasks, like carpet patches, were followed up in a timely manner.  He does use some helpers but kicked off the project, managed the helper, the supplies and was present for the technical/key parts.

Zyggi has an accent and the written skills are not the best but he does communicate well - returns calls, sets schedule, makes sure we understand, discusses issues as needed.  Prices are competitive and he will also discuss how you can save/avoid costs.  He probably wont design a remodel for you but does offer advice as needed.  Most importantly he has the skills, integrity and reliability I am looking for in my contractor.   Lastly, I would add he's got a general contractor style network so he can do it all.  If something is outside his direct skills (like that carpet patch or Euro glass door) hes probably got a guy for that so you don't have to find your own guy.

Steve was very professional and detail oriented. He ended up working on our kitchen, bathrooms and also finished our basement. He has given us an initial quote that he stuck with. He was very easy to work with and produced top quality. Since then he has done work for many of our friends with consistent results. Wife approved

    Neighborhood Remodelers
Neighborhood Remodelers was wonderful to work with during our kitchen remodel.  Theirs was one of our low bids for our kitchen job, and everything was handled very professionally.  All of the staff that I had contact with were superb.  Their kitchen designer helped design a beautiful and effect kitchen layout.  The project came in on time, on-budget, and we have a beautiful new space.  The work is beautifully done and the quality of all materials is excellent.  They are very thorough, knowledgeable and easy to work with.  They communicated with all vendors (granite, etc.) and made it as easy as possible for me.  The employees who were in my house on a daily basis were courteous and helpful.  We are thrilled with our new space and would recommend this company without hesitation.

Showroom easy to browse. Stone slabs stacked in the back of the showroom, which is easy to pick from.

Classico has a showroom and warehouse space housing granite, marble, and quartz slabs. Salesperson was helpful finding selections and making suggestions. My contractor recommended them because he felt they did good work and were fairly priced.
After measurements were taken of the sink base and shelf space, delivery of the cut and polished pieces was w/i 1 week. Quicker than expected by my contractor.
When the granite was delivered, the countertop's  4" backsplash was slightly off, so the project manager took the piece back for correction and it was replaced w/i the week. Installation was quick, neat and clean. Payment was due upon installation.
Exchanged several e-mail inquiries with Classico. Its website did not mention quartz, so I asked. It took several days before a reply came. They did communicate by e-mail with my contractor, sending the estimate to him. The estimate was the final price. I thought the price was high, but since my contractor was comfortable with it, I okayed it. I did not price granite anywhere else.
The chosen Cashmere White granite was a "scrap" piece, and Classico had several matching small pieces that they put together for the backsplash and the shelf. The backsplash and side are nicely matched and coordinated. Edges are 3/8" round. This was the "free" standard edge, other choices were extra cost. It's simple and clean, nothing fancy. The countertop is 21x48 inches, and the shelf is approximately 9x90". Classico supplied an under mount sink for $50, and cut the hole for faucet. The project manager brought two sinks - an almond color and a white one - for me to compare when the granite was delivered. I had picked out a white sink, but thought it was nice that they considered another color might be more appropriate. Both colors looked appropriate with Cashmere White, but the other fixtures were white, so opted for the white sink.

    Leavit Natural
I should have know from the start that this was not going to go well. We were doing a complete gut of a family room and were starting from scratch. I called Leavit,Sam was to come out to look over the job and give me an estimate for granite stairs. I was told that once I decided on a stone color I would receive a written estimate. Sam told me where to go to view stone colors. I picked 2 different stones because I was not sure if either would be acceptable for the stairs. Sam told me both choices were fine for the application. I was given a verbal estimate of $1200 for either stone and was thrilled. I let him know which of the 2 stone colors was my favorite and asked for a written estimate to get the job started. Well after many phone calls to get the estimate it turned into $2000. I was so far along with the job I just accepted the new price and was told that once the job was pattened the stone would be cut in a few days and would be installed in one day. I have never done stone before and was counting on the expertise of Leavit. I signed his contract and sent a $1000 deposit. Sam ordered the granite from his estimate measurements he NEVER asked me to view the slab. He told me to call when we were ready for him to come out and make the pattern. I had everything timed and was on track. I called Sam right on schedule to come out and pattern the new stairs, he did come promptly. I was now going to work around Sam's schedule. He told me when he would be here to install and I arranged my work schedule around him. I took the day off of work and he never showed or answered his phone which was normal. Finally by the afternoon he called back and rescheduled for the next day. So I took off more time. By 11:00 the next day still no call or install. FINALLY he called after a few left messages and said someone should be there soon. Once the installer showed up he noticed a problem with the way pieces were cut. He was here for a few hours and installed what he could, he re pattened and had Sam order more stone. Also one of the treads had a black mark on it and I sent a pix of the mark to Sam, he had me using all kinds of products to try and remove the mark while they were cutting new stone. Come to find out that the mark was IN the stone not on it. I voiced my objection to the dark blotch on the stair and wanted a new tread cut while they were cutting more stone. After much loud discussion he basically threatened to sue me plain and simple until he realized that he NEVER called me in to view the slab HE PURCHSED. It is now 5 weeks later and still unfinished. I am ending up keeping the blotch on the stair because according to Sam it is my fault that the stone was cut wrong and he is underwater on this job because he had to buy more stone. If I want a new tread I was told I could by a whole new slab for 800.00 or wait until the cows come home until he can find a small piece. So much for hiring a professional. I had to keep rescheduling everything else because the stairs were unfinished. He knew if he waited long enough I would cave and I did. Oh yes I forgot, the poor installer who was a very patient man and spent much time in my home never got paid by Sam, he asked me if I was going to pay him. Be prepared to be screwed by this guy he could care less about you only your cash. I was going to do stone countertops in spring but I am so sour on this I think I will stick with good ole laminate. I waited until the job was finished before writing this. One more tidbit, Sam gave me a measurement of 1 3/8" for the thickness of the stone. He knew there were 2 other floors involved that needed to come out to the same height. I was told as long as i used his 1 3/8" thickness measurement to plan all of the sub floors everything would match up. One of the treads that were recut due to wrong measurements we now noticed is only 1" thick. So I have 4 out of 5 treads that are 1 3/8" thick and 1 tread at 1" thick. Besides looking horrendous, it now throws off the neighboring floor and leaves it 3/8" higher than the stairway. Find anyone else but Leavit or Custom stone installations.
