    Confident Plumbing Co.
Tony is wonderful. He has redone all the plumbing in our house and put in new drains. He installed our sump pump as well. He installed our washer, dryer, ran a line and installed gas stove, and dishwasher. He was punctual, patient with all our questions, and very reasonably priced. Would recommend him to anyone.

    Reliable Basement Services LLC
First Frank came out and took enough time to understand my particular problem and quote me and then it was easy to set up an appointment to get the work done. Paul was the person who came out to do the actual work and it was meticulous! Paul took great care at every step and I feel the job he did was extremely thorough. I appreciate the services of this great company. I would recommend them to anyone!

    American Crawlspace & Basement Corp
Jim came and gave me an estimate ( about $1,900.00 under other estimates) explained everything in detail. Had great communication with Jim and Keith. The crew arrived on time and explained what they would be doing breaking the concrete inside around the perimeter laying Drain pipes and drainage boards installing sump pump repairing cracks in the foundation. Great communication and very respectful. This crew did an outstanding job! Since having this job done about 2 weeks ago weve had heavy wet snow melting and rain. No problems. Excellent job! Great price! I would definitely recommend American Crawlspace and Basement Corp. to anyone who is having seepage in their basement. Gina F. Lombard

    Ulb-Dry Waterproofing Inc
HONEST and Great Service. Originally came out and gave me a range for my Water leakage problem and asked that I take pictures of where exactly the water was coming from vs...Over There on that wall. After the last thaw and Rains I got a picture of Where exactly water was coming from. They came out within a couple of days to do the Repair for a total bill of $560.00. That was Extremely Reasonable for all the time spent repairing and filling where the leak was. I felt blessed to not have Stoyan try to upsell me at a time when I've got lots of other bills to cover. THANK YOU ULB!!!!

    A-Proseal
Fernando was excellent and kindly also was also able to fit this work in during a very busy week. He took time to explain the work well and the price quoted was very competitive. I will be recommending A-Proseal to anyone with water issues in the future.

Concrete Crawlspaces & Basement Waterproofing Corp
Overall the concrete work was ok but my overall rating is because of the added expense they cost me by messing with something that most likely is out of their scope of expertise and knowledge which is plumbing. I had them come out to give me an estimate and it was brought to my attention that the sump pump would need to "remove connection to sewer line/discharge to exterior." It is probably on me to have made an assumption I was dealing with professionals who would not leave a job and their service by leaving the consumer with something that is not code and inevitably a much larger expense to rectify. Overall I was not impressed with the professionalism as well. My first appointment was set for 8am and he arrived at 7:30. I'm all for punctuality but let's be mindful of how early that is and not surprise your customer that early. The first appointment was fine and I was satisfied with the estimate. The day the workers came they got the job done however I did not appreciate the blasting music when I live in a bi-level and the crawl space is in the lower level which is very much a part of the house where I had to listen to the noise the whole time. I was patient and did not say anything as I appreciated the hard work. What I was not aware of is the entire sump pump was literally relocated from the back of the house to the front of the house with an eye sore of a pump drilled directly under the front window. This was NOT explained to me at all. They also attached a six foot pvc pipe which made it even more of an eye sore but I get the water needed to be directed far away from the house. Shortly after the work was done, my crawl flooded due to the pump valve. I had to call them back out and I got an attitude and a comment directed to me saying "we did not replace any parts." Was that comment necessary? There was no leakage before the work was done and I just paid 5,250 to concrete and seal my crawl and now I have a little pond in there. I did not make any accusation or even place blame. It is natural to call the company that just did work when a problem arose/ They came out and fixed and then I was told just run some fans in there. There was nothing offered for the inconvenience of a flooded crawl after the work was done. Fast forward to the next couple of months when the weather started changing. Naturally the pipe they put in the front froze which caused a backup and the motor of the pump to almost burn out. I had to call a licensed plumber to come out. Initially to get by they cut the pipe but then the pump continued to work because it caused a never ending cycle of water pumping directly at the front of house and on and on. We then had to go to just get some tubing to direct it further away from the house causing an even bigger eye sore. The licensed plumber told us there were other options so did not understand why this company put a pipe right in front of the house creating this series of issues and future work needed. They advised the village will want this pump under ground and needs to go all the way to the street. It will just keep freezing again as is too. If we pursue this work we now need to get permits, get the concrete and my lawn ripped up for something as a consumer I trusted this company new what they were doing. Had we known this job would have caused a much bigger job down the road we never would have done this. If you are just looking for concrete work I'm sure this company is ok although a week later a giant crack already formed in the work. Because of the added expense and negligence of work they did with regards to pump and plumbing and the attitude and unprofessionalism I would not use them for any job that involves any type of plumbing work nor would I recommend to friends or family.

    Biango Construction
The basement had a water problem, that I thought was fixed, however it wasnt. Nick and team were at a stall until I could get this resolved with the previous contractor. It took me 6 weeks to get the contractor back out here to fix the problem. He also pointed out several mistakes from previous contractors he thought might be a problem, but he wanted to make sure that I was aware. The project grew to include: Shelving and custom swing-out cabinet in the basement Finishing of the family room - custom wall built-in, new fireplace mantel, painting, crown moulding, electrical, etc. Painting of the main entrance way Custom built-in linen closet Finishing up the hardware floor What I really liked about this company is that, even though there was a delay in the basement project not on their behalf, Nick and team would move forward with the additional projects in the interim. Nick checked in with me every step of the way to make sure I was aware of what was being worked on next and that I was happy with the quality of work. Nicks values that He wouldnt have anyone on his team at a house he didnt trust at his own and We like to stay at the same location until the work is done. This rings true to me. Ive had my share of contractors that are no shows and Ive been working on my house for 12 years now. His team and work is solid and I would highly recommend him as a valued resource and would be my first call for any future projects.

    Perma-Seal Basement Systems
I recently met with Robert Barscewski for a free estimate from Perma-Seal and was very impressed with his knowledge, and professionalism. He was thorough in gathering information about the issue I was having with a small crack in my foundation, as well as providing me with information about how they will conduct the repair, as well as the other services Perma-Seal offers. While I don't need those other services at the moment, it's good to know more about what they can offer. I look forward to having the work completed and not worrying about it anymore, and should something happen, having a lifetime warranty is great.
