    Stan's Welding
    The work was completed and looks as if the structure was brand new. I am so very impressed with the work performed and although the project ran longer than expected (due to weather), we are extremely pleased at the professionalism and pricing. Our condo association solicited several bids on this project and although Stan's was not the least expensive, based on the work shown on their website, we knew that this was who we needed to work with. They quickly came out and estimated the project and explained exactly what needed to be done. The work was extensive. The structure was severely damaged by the elements and salts used over the years. There were sections of steel which needed to be replaced and other areas which could be ground down, primed and painted. The steel landings needed to be completely removed and replaced as well as some of the stair treads. We were told that the work would take 7-10 working days and unfortunately due to heavy rains, the actual timing went longer. We did NOT complain at all because as we were monitoring the progress, we were so very impressed with the work. Not only did they do exemplary work, they kept the work site clean and safe for all our residents. By the end of the project, they had replaced, restored, primed and painted the complete structure and it is beautiful. Please give Stan's a chance. Even if their pricing is a bit higher than other bids, you will NOT be disappointed with the results.

    Setting up the trip was great, but maybe a typo cause the driver to show up over 3 miles away. We had called for a 3:30am pick up driver didn't show till after 4:00am. They did wave the early morning fee. But I will never use Echo again.

    I am amazed at the customer service provided by three employees of City Service Taxi. I didn't expect to ever see my billfold again. The gentleman to whom I spoke is the owner, Comey Dilanjian. The driver, Aia, is to be commended for her honesty and excellent customer service.  The person in the office who worked with me to mail my billfold back to me is Carmen. She was very patient with me as I continued to try to transmit the FedEx label to her. I so appreciate these three people going to the extra trouble to get my billfold back to me. My faith in society has been restored!

    This company provided excellent service from the initial telephone reservation to the actual drop-off at the airport....The receptionist was  very patient and informative while answering our many questions, taking our order, and then sending us an email confirmation...Our driver, Anthony (517), arrived promptly (which put any concerns about getting to the airport in a timely fashion to rest) at a very early morning hour that was necessary for our flight...He was friendly and quite professional in dress, demeanor, and service...We would like to extend a special thanx to Anthony for a very comfortable & pleasant ride! He is an asset to the company, and we hope he is duly compensated. ..Overall, we highly recommend this company & know now why it has received such stellar ratings from other Angie's List members!

    They were very professional and it was pleasant working with them. We called a few places and had some problems finding someone at the last minute. They accomodated us in the short time and we had no problems. We will definitely use them again in the future.

    AMERICAN UNITED CAB COMPANY
    I was in the cab line at O'Hare and got into an American United cab when my turn came. The driver complained bitterly of a "short trip" when I gave him my destination address, approximately 20 minutes from O'Hare. He left the cab to talk to the taxi dispatcher and she returned with him to the cab, asking me to state my destination and then telling the cab driver pointedly that the destination address did not constitute a short trip. He clearly would have thrown me out if he could have. As we drove, he complained strenuously about having sat in the cab line for 2 hours only to end up with this "short trip." When he was not giving me an earful, he talked on his cell phone and played music on the rear speakers. Both of these are in violation of the "customer rights" written on the placard inside of the cab. I didn't ask him to refrain, granted, since by then his utter lack of professionalism in complaining repeatedly about his circumstance, and, my being alone, left me feeling a bit intimidated. He was never threatening and he did not complain about taking a credit card but I was very, very glad to get out of that cab. Basically, isn't the luck of the draw something that is just a "what is" in the cabbie world? You win a few and you lose a few. Deal with it instead of verbally punishing the paying customer for what you perceive as a less than optimum trip length. This driver could have simply been a very immature individual and/or the company does a terrible job of training their employees in basic customer service principles, the most basic of which is common courtesy.

    The gentleman who took my reservation early in the day was very nice. Closer to the pick-up time, I checked in again and another person, a gal, who was on the phones at that time was very nice, as well. The driver was very clean and professional. His cab was immaculate. He knew just how to navigate to O'Hare on a day when there was a particularly disadvantageous detour enroute to the Kennedy. I just liked how cordial and reassuring every employee was. Felt like there was a lot of pride in the company. I would definitely use them again. It's really important to get to the airport on time and especially to be aided in feeling calm, not anxious, about the whole thing. It's nice to have them to rely on.

    Love the service- great route without an annoying GPS when he altered his route- I love it when a limo driver knows his business- and took the trouble to locate my address before hand- Best of all- I asked about picking someone up from Midway and taking them to St. Charles and he said- I am too expensive- they should call Pheasant Run- they have a shuttle-

    Elite Truck Rental
    I regularly use this company for rental of trucks to move items and equipment. I've rented from them dozens of times. Elite costs a little more than the big name truck rental company, but is far superior and totally worth it. They are courteous, easily accessible, and very professional. And, unlike others, their trucks work! Back in my dark days, I had numerous problems with another company, and have had zero problems with Elite. Also, others charge $0.99 per mile, Elite charges $0.45 per mile.
