    Saying that this job did not go well is an understatement. The following are our issues with Premier. Bob is nice until you sign the contract. The first time I realized we would have a problem is when I noticed his subcontractor putting up trim around the relocated window that did not even attempt to match the trim around all the other windows in the room. This is flat basic trim. I pointed it out and Bob snapped back at me that the stuff he was installing is actually more expensive. I said I didn't mind about cost, I just wanted it to match. He texted me to "Stop managing his job." My heart sank when I saw the text to 'stop managing his job.' I had a bad feeling... From that point on, Bob was a nightmare. He avoided in person discussions and would only respond to text messaging. When I would ask him to come out to speak with me he would say he didn't have time, then park in the alley to specifically avoid me. We had to start calling from different numbers at our offices to trick him into answering the phone. I have pages of text messages with nasty responses from him. The entire time we laid on the sugary sweet niceness. You get more flies with sugar than salt... About midway through, we stopped trying to address the stuff we saw being done wrong and complied a list. We decided to withhold our final payment until certain things were fixed. Ultimately they agreed to fix the electric and a few things on the deck, but we had to let the rest go. Below is a list of the problems along the way and whether they were fixed at the end. Outside of a complete lack of professionalism and bad behavior, below is everything that was wrong with the quality of the work: -Mismatched trim (we made them fix some, some other trim we let go) - SEE PICTURE -Did NOT follow instructions for installing James Hardie, even though we repeatedly asked them to. If you are not familiar with James Hardie, it is an excellent product, but the instructions are specific and must be followed. These are not difficult. The instructions are one simple page, but they must be followed. The instructions they violated were not painting to seal the cut edges, only face nailing OR blind nailing (not both - they did both - SEE PICTURE), and leaving clearance off deck and side walks (which they did not do - SEE PICTURE), and not to overdrive the nails (which they did overdrive many of them - SEE PICTURE). We noticed from day 1 that they weren't following the instructions. We left the page for them and asked them to follow. They still didn't. When we pushed for them to follow the instructions, Bob tried to make us sign a waiver, waiving our warranty with HIM, just so we could be sure we get our Hardie warranty. No one should ever be asked to sign a warranty waiver to have a product installed correctly!! -They used a beautiful wood for the deck and it is also nicely designed, but then they used tiny cheap deck screws to install it. Boards on the floor are coming up and the railings are pulling away from the posts because the screws aren't strong enough. In addition, when I noticed the concrete pillar being installed where our old deck was and I brought it up to Bob, I got another "Don't manage my job" message. I sent my husband home on his lunch break which prevented them from building the deck 4 feet shorter than what we agreed to. The deck now extends oddly passed the pillar and whether or not this is okay, I have no idea. Maybe it is, but it looks strange. -The aluminum fascia trim is done horribly. It is incredibly wavy - SEE PICTURE. I'm not ignorant to the fact that this can be hard to install perfectly flat but our waves are ridiculous. You can see them from 2 blocks away. We asked them to fix them by predrilling the holes (which is standard to prevent rippling when driving the nail in). They refused. -The electrical work they did was completely messed up. We wanted both switches in the room to control all three sconces. Instead one switch controlled one sconce and the other controlled two. You had to cross the room to turn on one sconce. It was ridiculous. When we asked Bob to fix it he said he would have to open the wall to do it and he refused. They did eventually fix this for us, but only when we withheld final payment at the end to force them to do it. And it took only 30 minutes and no walls had to be opened up. -Paneling they put up is buckling, you can actually push on it and feel the movement. -When we signed the contract, I was told the subcontractor would be on vacation for one week, but the door and window relocation would be done by then. The subcontractor actually left for TWO weeks and the door and window work was NOT done. We had freezing temps in February and the draft was awful. We had to leave space heaters in the bathroom to avoid freezing pipes and live on the second floor of our house. Bob eventually came over and put up plastic and tarps which made it slightly more livable. -Finally, a couple months ago we decided to reach out and see if they would honor the warranty on their work. We asked them to come reinforce the loose deck posts and railings. A 6 month old deck shouldn't have boards coming up and railings coming loose. The deck portion was $8k and it was making me sick to my stomach. We sent the request by email. We never received a response. About a week later I walked onto my deck and literally gasped out loud. They had sent someone and that person had driven huge screws through the sides of the railings. Literally blasted huge holes in the sides of the beautiful railings on every post of our deck. SEE PICTURE. As they say, I picture is worth a thousand words. We have asked repeatedly for them to send someone out to fix them while we are home so they can monitor. We now received no response from them at all. All said and done, this may just be the biggest nightmare I've lived through. We have redone two bathrooms and remodeled a living room since then. Both totally normal experiences with contractors that did great work and didn't seem to mind if you asked them a question or inspected the work they did. Bob should NOT be a customer facing person. If you are a person who likes to ensure your contractors are doing the work correctly, this is NOT the company for you. They want to do it their way and only their way and have no questions asked. And I can also tell you their way is not always the correct way.

    READ THIS IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING HIRING SRS EXTERIORS - SRS sided my entire house - two stories, 40 squares plus. Andrew, Moe and their crew were outstanding. Outstanding means different things to different people. So let me clarify. For example, when a specific part of my siding job got messy, literally, they kept me in the loop the entire way with pictures, texts and calls. When a part of the project that involves material expense for SRS changed, they were fair about how to resolve that expense. I was given the opportunity to QC every detail - when I felt something was not quite right, it was addressed. THEY CAN THINK ON THEIR FEET! We did a custom PVC column wrap around my porch posts. When it became clear that the floors and ceilings were not perfectly level and thus would create gaps on the crown and base trim pieces, Moe devised a seamless strategy to build up the trim pieces for a near flawless look. They were polite, respectful and understanding of my time as well as their own. On a big job, that is a serious juggling act. They were honest - they told me it was in my best interest to wait longer than I wanted, in order to get the best possible install/product combination. They were right - the house gets compliments from our neighbors every day. Perhaps most important, they were fair. There were several variations in the quote, both up and down, due to circumstances out of their control and mine. We resolved these quickly and quietly. And their initial quote was in line with the competition. I can't speak to their other work, but I would recommend SRS for your siding job. I would use them again tomorrow and have already referred them to my colleagues at work.

    Scheduling was efficient and quick. Crew was on time, hard-working and accommodating to neighbors' needs as well as to our own. Work was completed right on schedule, and the quality of it is superb. Overall communication with everyone from the owner on down was outstanding, and their customer care couldn't have been better. Price was extremely competitive and did not exceed estimate. I would recommend SRS without reservation to friends, family, & anyone looking for superior work done right -- & in a timely fashion.

    Gabriel was thorough and attentive to our needs and requests. Because we were dealing with our insurance company for hail damage, Gabriel and his company did all the negotiating and handled all the paper work for our claim. We were greatly appreciative of this since we did not know all the ins and outs in dealing with our insurance company and our claim. Gabriel was always available to answer our questions. The work was done professionally and they always cleaned up when they were done. He backs up his work with a guarantee to be there if we have any problems in the future which we hope won't occur but it's good to know that he is available.

    The complete job took about 8 weeks, since all siding needed to be stripped, and I was also adding two porches, plus replacing a side porch and door with a wall.  The overall project was well-organized, workers arrived promptly each morning and worked until dark most days.  They were neat and organized and addressed every concern and question along the way.  I was so pleased with the workmanship, attention to detail, and keeping my home and yard as neat as could be expected.  The various crews (siding, gutters, carpenters, etc.) were dependable, came when they said they would be there, and kept me informed every step of the process, and what to expect next.  This was important, as I had several modifications to do (electrical wiring, cable services) and needed to coordinate other service workers. 

    The Siding and Windows Group is on of the most professional teams I've ever worked with and I appreciated their ongoing advice and consultation to create a beautiful new appearance to my home.  Strangers walking down the street have asked who did the work, it is so beautiful. 

    Their attention to detail is top notch.  From the trim and frieze board to the newel posts on the porches, each of the finer details exceeded my expectations and supported my impressions that the Siding & Windows Group is the best in the area.  The most important thing is to stay in constant communication with the workers and the project manager, because being informed along the way made all the difference to understand how the project would flow.  They asked my many times if I was happy with the work, did I have any questions, etc. 

    Overall I have most appreciated the highest quality of materials and workmanship, as I know it will serve my home for many years to come.  Thank you, Siding and Windows Group!

    From the get go, Jack and all of his employees are very conscientious and hard working.  Roofing guys, neat, thorough, and completed the job in a very timely manner. Siding crew, WOW! Talk about meticulous, they are very real craftsman.  I have never seen anything like it.  They took their time making sure that every fold, tuck and cut was done exact.  I couldn't be more happy.  Jack is an unbelievably hard working, conscientious, flexible man and very easy to get a long with. I will admit I was a little h****** him at first when I wasn't going to be able to get an estimate for 2 weeks when I initially called, but Jack made a real effort to accommodate me when he had a cancellation.  I am VERY VERY GRATEFUL and one HAPPY CONSUMER.  Don't hesitate to contact me if you need a reference for JL Contractor Services.

    I needed 17 windows replaced and installed in an apartment unit. I contacted Todor to get an estimate on just the installation since I had already purchased the windows. He gave me a very fair price and we set up a time for him to come out, pick up the windows and install. I also had to coordinate the schedule with my tenant in order for this to happen smoothly so he gave me some possible dates he was able to come by and do the installation weather permitting. This was a 2 day job - the first day, Todor and his crew removed all the existing original windows and installed them. We also discussed making sure all the windows were properly insulated with foam as well as aluminum capping on the outside. During the installation, we found that the 3 of the lintels were badly rusted and needed attention. He explained to me most window installs are done incorrectly and that typically the lintels are covered with aluminum which hold the water and accelerates the rust process since there's no where for the water to go. He was able to repair the lintels for a reasonable cost and said they were still in decent shape and didn't need to be replaced. Everything else went as planned. The windows look and work great. My tenant was very complimentary about his professionalism and cleanliness and I am happy with the final product. I worked with Todor last year on my own house and have nothing but excellent things to say about him. He is honest, knowledgable, easy to work with and takes pride in his work. I would most definitely recommend Todor and his crew for exterior work. I have already gotten an estimate from him to perform siding work and plan to start that project in the fall.

    The roof replacement was quoted at the time of the gutter replacement. When we decided to move forward with the roof and detached garage, the company moved quickly to contract, delivered the materials and performed the work in a timely and professional manner. It is only a sidewalk's width between houses, but tear offs were contained to our yard. Clean up was thorough, and gates and garden ornaments were returned to their starting locations.
