Sewer Cleaning reviews in Libertyville

  • Jim was prompt and friendly. He was able to solve the problem in a little under an hour. First he used a 2" auger to bore a hole through the roots in the sewer line and pull some of them back out. This got the water/sewage flowing again. Then he used a larger auger to open up the opening and push the rest of the roots out into the main city sewer line. He also gave me some advice on how to control the root issue with some preventative maintenance down the road. I was originally quoted $197 for the first half hour and $66 per 15 minutes thereafter, but Jim ended up giving me a special discount that made it a bit cheaper. He also gave me a discounted estimate if I want to add an external cleanout down the road. Thanks Jim!

  • Mike from Lifeline arrived right on time and after evaluating the issue, explained to me what was happening, and provided multiple options for solutions. His explanation of the issue was very easy to understand, and he took the time to answer all my questions and makes sure I was comfortable with what needed to be done and how it would solve the problem. After the decision was made on what to do, he got right to work and fixed the problem in no time. He walked me through what was happening in the pipe with the obstruction and what was done to remedy the problem. He also cleaned up all the waste that was in our front yard, so I wouldn't have to deal with it myself. After he was done with that work, I told him I had a couple smaller projects I had some questions about and wanted some estimates on, and he was gracious enough to spend some time looking at those. A fantastic experience overall and will definitely be calling Lifeline next time I have any issues. Thanks again, Mike! My family and I appreciate your hard work!

  • I was very impressed with the professionalism of the Arrow crew.  We had not had our sewer line rodded out since we bought our home 3 years ago, and suspected there might be a need based on the age of our home and the number of trees.  The crew that came out were extremely professional.  They put down tarps to protect our floors for when they came in/out of the house, were patient to explain everything they were doing, and gave pointers on how to maintain the system in the future.  They also outlined options for us to manage cost/inconvenience in the future (e.g. putting a clean-out access outside of our home), but were definitely not hard-selling that option.  Also pointed out the age of our hot water heater and suggested we keep an eye on it, but again was not a hard-sell.

We also had them use the camera so we could see whether there were any breaks, etc in the line (my request, they didn't push that).  Cost was only marginally higher and worth the money for the peace of mind.

I would definitely use them again -- high quality professionals.

  • They were able to change schedules and come out within a couple hours of the call because the problem was causing back-up within my unit.  They alleviated the problem and then came up with a plan to avoid the issue in the future.

  • They Initially came out to have the sewer rodded, showed me on the camera why the sewer rodding was not needed but suggested the line be hydojetted. As it ws explained to me the rodding can only cut an inch or so path through a root but hydrojetting can blast the whole thing out. When I asked how much that service was he said it was approx $1300 and I said I would think about it. As they were packing up he came back up to me holding his phone and said "we still have an Angies list deal out there for hyrojetting and the price was much better, I scheduled it there and the work was performed within a week, professionally cleanly and thoroughly, even calling attention to a possible issue in the future.

  • I chose Strenger based on Angie's reviews and was very pleased.  The repair was done very quickly even tho it required getting a permit.  The workmen even put back the bush they had to remove to get to the broken line.  Hopefully the bush survived the winter, but replacing it will not be a big issue.  As I was a first-time customer, the owner graciously discounted the price per the ad he had running with Angie's List.  For a big ticket repair like this, that was MOST appreciated.  I would not hesitate to call them again.  Thanks Strenger!

  • Igor jet washed our drains at a food establishment. He came and quoted us around $1200 for 3 hours of service. It ended up taking him 5.5 hours and he kept his promise as the final charge was $1360. The service was timely and exemplary, and he was an extremely pleasant gentleman . I would recommend them to anyone.es to the sanitary sewers

  • This is the second time I've used All Clear for rodding our sewer out.  First time was back in February for a cleanout of the sewer from the cleanout back to the main stack in the house.  I liked their prompt response, quality of the work and the price.  Today was no different as an extensive rodding was done to clear tree roots out which invade the line between the cleanout and city main.  They arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, and finished quicker than they estimated!  When they were done I got to inspect their work as they pushed the camera down the line to make sure the job was complete.  I am more than pleased with them!

  • Went smoothly. Took the time to check out another clean out line. Also was able to unclog a slow draining line in the basement at a reasonable rate. Also, pointed out to me a pipe line that is started to rust through and will need to be replaced in the near future. Rate was very reasonable with the coupon discount. Thank you.
