I took in two older computers with Windows 7 on it that weren't working. They were fixed expertly and promptly. We were happy that they both worked better than when they were new! One was my disabled sister-in law's machine; the other was one I'd hardly used but crashed that I wanted to give my niece so she could use it to go back to school. I'd taken these to one place, "OH you should see these on Ebay, even for parts they're worth a bit. Another place offered to recycle them for me. AH no. I knew enough to know they were well worth fixing. The price I paid was reasonable and fair

It went very well. I have used Teranet for a few years after originally finding the company on Angie"s List. Marty always is easy to work with and fixes things on our computers we did not realize needed attention. He also happens to be in the same town I live in, which is a bonus for me.

We have used Marty at Teranet for a number of years and have always been pleased with his services. He responds quickly to distress calls and is sensitive to our individual needs and use of the system. He explains, even to computer idiots like us, what he is doing to solve and correct our problems. In addition to his knowledge and expertise in the computer field, as our relationship has developed over the years, we now share many chuckles on a variety of subjects. We like this guy...

Mark explained to us all the products and services ( electrician and new internet carrier)  and in PLAIN ENGLISH.   He made sure to ask about how we used the computers and matched his plan accordingly.   He was prompt always and even helped out over the phone by explaining to the electrician just exactly what cable was needed throughout our house.

I instantly liked Scott for his initiative and professionalism. I don't think he knew what he was getting into when he walked through my door. However, he took over and did his magic. My HP Touch Screen computer now runs faster and more efficiently. He also worked on my iPhone and iPad2. Now all of my electronics are synced and communicating with other. Even if nothing goes wrong with my computer, I'm going to have Scott tune it up every six months. He also added a couple of programs that will help me keep my computer running smoothly. I love my computer again and Scott is my hero.

    Momentum Computer Solutions
I had an issue with my 3-year old desktop computer. I was pretty sure that it was not caused by a hard drive, but I could not pin down the real source of the problem. After doing a lot of research, and running a variety of diagnostics, I was no closer to an answer although it was beginning to look like a bad motherboard. I finally decided to seek help, and after looking for computer repair services on Angie's List, I settle on Momentum. I took my system to Ken, and he took a day or so to check everything out before he called to tell me that the problem was indeed caused by a bad motherboard. We talked about the consequences of this, such as that my operating system would need to be reinstalled along with all of my installed software. It was not the news I wanted by news I expected. We also talked about the pros and cons and costs of doing the repair vs. buying a new system and I eventually decided to go with the repair.
Ken ordered a new board and had it installed in two days, but ran into trouble because my hard drive was filled to the gills. After talking about it, I decided to have him install a second drive (in addition to the existing drive) to give him room to reload the operating system and give me room for future use. By the time my system was read for me to pick up - about a week or so after I dropped it off - Ken had to have spent many hours on my system. But, my bill reflected only a few hours of labor plus the cost of the parts. The operating system had been reloaded, all the updates had been downloaded, and some free antivirus software was also installed so that my system was never in jeopardy of viruses.
I have had to reload many of my programs. But that was not Ken's fault. Anyone who might complain about loss of data or loss of programs when their system needs to be repaired probably lacks the understanding that once components are replaced or operating systems are re-installed, there is usually no way to go back to the way things were before the problems occurred.
A while after my desktop was serviced, my husband's laptop had serious problems requiring that it be serviced. He also had an old laptop that no longer worked, but that had a lot of files and photos on it drive that he wanted to recover if at all possible. Ken was asked to look at the two laptops to make a determination of the source of the problems, whether they were repairable, and what he could do to recover the data. The first laptop had software issues that were quickly resolved, but the inoperable laptop was just too far gone, plus it had a bad drive. Ken was convinced he could offload the data from the bad drive, but it would take some doing. He took the drive out, attached it to another system, used some recovery software, and babysat the work as it limped along drying to pull the files off the bad drive. With knowledge and tenacity, Ken succeeded, and his price was more than fair for the time and effort he put into the work.
So three systems later, we have enough experience dealing with Ken that we would gladly recommend him for his above-the-call-of-duty service and very fair prices. We have dealt with the geek squads of the world, but Ken tops them all by a long shot.

I paid for the items ordered with a personal check..I canceled the delivery for a dishwasher a day before delivery...When I called to do so I questioned them how long it would take to get the refund..I was told 2 weeks...3 weeks went by I had not received the refund..I called to check status...was told it was mailed about 5 days before my call..I waited another weekend..now being 4 weeks..no refund received..call back on a Monday ...was told they would stop payment on the original check & would have another one 'fed ex'd' to me that same day...It is now Wednesday the 24th of April & was told it was mailed certified  today!!!!!! I am very upset because they misled me to think it was going to be mailed by fed ex on the 23rd & now to hear it is being mailed by certified mail...they give me the impression they are just really delaying mailing the refund vs giving me real good old fashioned customer service..just another corporation giving a loyal customer the run around..I went & bought  a Bosch dishwasher now with HH GREG store. I am extremely disappointed especially since I have been buying appliances from this store since 1988.....

I've used him several times since our original encounter. He's always solved any problems I encountered and has kept my computer clean, virus free (so far) and also upgraded drivers when necessary. In addition he has kept my wife's computer working efficiently cleaned up unnecessary garbage that always seems to accumulate.

The session went well. What I found most interesting was there were a couple of concerns about a specific hitch with an older version of a software that he couldn't specifically answer, but provided avenues that I followed and solved by myself. As a former educator I thought that alone was worth the visit and cost. What I gained was not only the answer(s) to my problems and concerns, but the tools to find them myself.

Marty was able to come out the day after I contacted him. He was on time, friendly, proffesional, and above all did not make me feel like an idiot. He actually ended up working on both of our computers at the same time, and they both work better than new. He was able to recover files from an old hard drive for us as well. I have already spoken to him about networking our units, and he will be getting a call soon to deal with that.
