We have had all of our windows replaced. We have also had our gutters, fascia, and soffits redone. I would highly recommend this company to anyone contemplating work on their own home. Power is very professional. The customer service is fabulous. The knowledge of their representatives is exceptional and they do a great job of sharing their knowledge with you to make good choices. You will never be sorry you did business with them.

My husband and I have only superlatives for the work the men did. The contractor, Voytek, was meticulous and in almost daily communication with us. Steve and Voytek offered excellent suggestions and ideas when I was unsure the best option or choice to make regarding lighting, flooring, and even paint colors. Their work is top quality, but their price was exceptionally reasonable. The contract was clearly written and Steve was always in touch to explain what was coming next in the buildout. Steve's estimate of the time to complete the work was right on, actually completing the work ahead of schedule. Voytek and his crews were extremely considerate of our time and needs as seniors. When we made additions to the contract, and there were a few, Steve gave us the best price possible and Voytek took any additions or changes we wanted in stride. The workmen were punctual and professional in their work and use of time. I highly recommend the Basement Men.

Everything went good from the first time they came to my home till the last day of the job. Each day everything was cleaned up. Inside the house and outside the house. They covered up everything with protection nothing was broken or damaged. A piece of equipment broke down and I was told they would be back the next day to proceed the process. After that everything went very smooth. The employees were courteous and respectful.

I called to have Paragon come to my home and give a quote.  We scheduled a time.  He did not show and I did not receive a phone
call to let me know.  I called him back and he apologized and we rescheduled.  He
did not show the second time and I did not even receive a call. Don't waste your time chasing him.

During the work construction company did not remove power vent as promised and came back after the fact reworking a pristine vapor barrier, now compromised due to rework. Since then we have had not one but two leaks that are still not addressed after multiple notifications. All I hear is excuses when they eventually show up. First dismissing it was a leak, then trying to blame both leaks on siding contractor. At one point they blamed ridge vents they installed stating all ridge vents leak. First if that was the case a good contractor would recommend not installing or just refuse to install, but to provide a blame game each time for anything but just fixing the issue to me is irresponsible and unprofessional. When they made the mistake of not removing the power vent when removing the can vents, the excuse was "I will lose money if I redo that section of your roof", which lead to the "fix" vs. the redo to correct their mistake the right way. Very engaging and on the surface trustworthy partner / owner, but has yet to deliver on promises of a leak free roof. Other partner when contacted initially did not respond and later when I filed a bbb complaint, called me and verbally assaulted me over the phone because he was upset I filed a complaint after them never calling me about warranty work. I will notify the village of lake in the hills asking that they revoke their license to do work in the village until they fulfill their promises. FYI, prior to the work Legend did on my house I did not have any water issues in these two areas. If you want a polished smiling face and want to spend money on work and cross your fingers nothing happens, hire Legend exteriors. It would be nice if Angie's list provided a means to show pictures as you can judge for yourself. One leak has grown since their last visit earlier this year with no resolve to about 15" in one direction, 18" in another and 8" in another affecting three walls that will need to be replaced and possibly structural wood rafters and sheathing. Further that leak will soon impact a cabinet that is custom that I am unable to take down myself. The other leak is in my bedroom over a cherry hardwood floor, hopefully that leak does not breach the drywall ceiling that will have to be replaced. The spot on the ceiling is about 18"x20" and there is another area near it in a line.

Put up mismatched siding on our house.
Painted siding moments before it rained. (Yes, rain was forecasted.)
    Paint ran and streaked.
Drilled a piece of metal INTO the ROOF SHINGLES as a makeshift tarp. W**? (This is a big NO-NO).
Tried to tell us a dollop of tar will be a sufficient repair for roof they damaged. (It won't).
Left nails, large screws and wood shards on the roof and chimney. Never returned to clean-up. Screws fell in yard and driveway and we have a toddler who plays in the area.
When we made the owner aware of the mismatched siding he said, " I couldn't find any that matched." (We have very common 8" slat board).
Gave us the run-around for 10 weeks, insisting they would "make it right."
Finally, they just texted us saying " I don't think we can ever make you happy I know my craftsmanship s top notch But with all the issues and problem I think it's best you find your own siding guy to complete the work..." (Their words).
These guys are nothing more than RODENT CATCHERS trying to disguise themselves as professional contractors.
Do Not let Attic Solutions work on your house.

AWESOME!  We had another quote from a different company that was much higher than what Bob quoted us.  We were amazed at how much lower his quote was.  Bob was able to answer all our questions and knew a lot.  My husband is highly allergic to the blow in  fiber glass insulation we had in our attic before and was worried to put in another fiber insulation.  Bob let my husband take a sample of their Owens Corning product and we were amazed how little my husband's skin was irritated, no itching!
The room above our garage was always freezing in winter and hot & humid in the summer.  It has only been 1 day since the insulation has been blown in and we notice a huge difference.  We feel no difference in temperatures from that room and the rest of the upstairs.  AMAZING!
We had a great experience with Bob and North Shore Insulation.  We would highly recommend them to anyone!

All of the work was performed in a professional and timely manner. Removal and replacement of insulation was conducted cleanly and the house was left in the same clean condition that it was in prior to the work being performed.

The roof repairs were professionally done in spite of the inclement winter weather (cold, wind and snow).

Essentially, all contracted work was performed in a highly professional, timely and efficient manner.

My husband and I looked into crawlspace encapsulation because our house would always have a musty odor despite keeping our home clean.  Then we realized that we had another problem that needed to be addressed.  We had high moisture which resulted in very wet foundation walls.  We felt if we left it untreated, it would eventually become a larger, more expensive problem resulting in dangerous mold growth.  We received quotes from several companies and eventually decided on High Tech Waterproofing. Our main reason for choosing High Tech was because of our experience with Jason.  He was personable, honest and willing to work with us delivering several quotes for different options and willing to work with us on price.  It's refreshing that HighTech sincerely cares about their customers and doing a quality job.  High Tech is also one of the only companies to offer a completely seamless solution for our crawlspace, offering the Polyurea liner and spray foam insulation.  Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend them for your musty, damp, scary crawl space!  Also, now that the crawl space walls are insulated the house feels warmer and has a more even temperature throughout.

Olson was extremely professional and knowledgeable to work with.  Our sales person was terrific, and anything that she was unsure of she sought out the answer and got back to us right away.  They were honest about the time frame that the work would be completed (work wouldn't begin for approximately 6-8 weeks), and kept true to that time frame.  The workers were very knowledgeable, courteous and hard working.  They were always polite and receptive when we shared our expectations of what was to be done, and eager to complete the job as expected.
At the conclusion of the project, we had a list of several things that still needed to be addressed.  They sent out a crew within a week and they completed all of the loose ends to our satisfaction.
The quality of the work and the knowledge and professionalism of the Olson staff was wonderful.
