    Eighteen years ago a friend suggested I try Dr. Moats saying "He's more an artist than a dentist.". She was right but only half right. I had been to three established dentists and none of them had the education, training, and experience to compare with Dr. Moats. The proof was in the pudding as they say. In one visit, I went from sub-par care to extraordinary dental care. Yes, Dr. Moats is an artist but he is far more than that. Even an artist can tire of creating porcelain perfection. Dr. Moats is the unusual mix of a high achiever and a man with a true heart for his patients. He wants to give his patients the best qualitative result while making the whole experience as pain free and pleasant as possible. Dr. Moats is the exceptional professional holding himself to the highest standards (technique, lab work, customer satisfaction) while doing all he can to adjust to the changing needs of his patients. Great dental care is one of the best investments in a lifetime of good health. Dr. Moats and his capable staff will do all they can to give you this and much more.

    Visited this dentist for a second opinion on a crown. By the time I left they told me I needed not only 2 crowns but two root canals also. I then sought a 3rd review and was told I only needed one crown and it was less than half the price of this dentist. Date of service was 12/31/15. On December 9th of 2016 I received a statement with no explanation of charges for $55.00 showing I was over 90 days past due. Included in the bill was a letter that stated the following. "Dear Patient, We realize this statement's arrival may be delayed in that we haven't seen you for some time. Our office has or may have neglected to send a statement in the past, but we are putting new systems in place to prevent this from happening again." I do not understand how they believe they can bill patients for services that are over a year old. This dentist tries to wow patients with bells and whistles and overcharge patients for services provided. It is the only dentists office they start with giving you a "tour" of the office. I had my one crown done at another wonderful dentist without a root canal and have had no issues since. No office tour and he had all the same technology as they have at this office. It is really tough to find an honest dentist these days.

    During the course of this time, he has worked with me extensively in finding alternative solutions to an issue that was overlooked by many dentists not wanting to invest the time in working with me.  Dr. Duncan���s dental skills chairside manner is excellent, and his hours are very flexible.  Just recently, he went above and beyond my already high expectations in an emergency situation, taking time away from his family on a holiday weekend.  Kudos to Dr. Duncan and his entire staff at Harbor Hills Dental.

    Please read the above paragraphs.   It did not go well.   After the last day in that dental chair, I never went back!!    He was so rude and so out of line and inappropriate with his mouth.

    My experience was very good. We have been going to him for about two years. I really do not have any dislikes. I like that he has flexible hours and for me, he is close by. It is very easy to get to see him. I think their prices are competitive. So, they are reasonable.

    My 9 year old son acquired an abcess over the weekend and ended up having to have a tooth removed. He was absolutely terrified about having it removed. They didn't do much to calm him down. Eventually I just insisted on him doing it and he regret tingly complied. They ended up doing a nice job and no complications.

    The average root canal is only $1,500.00.   My work done at the endodontist was less than what he charged.  My endodontist was only $1,200.00 which is reasonable.  I decided not to let him finish the work because of his exhorbitant prices.   He owes me a $1,000.00 but will not refund any of it.

    My broken bridge requires some extensive work because of a cracked anchor tooth. I have elected to go with two (2) implants for the anchor teeth. Dr. Kiriluk referred me to the best orthodontics office to have the process done. The work is still in progress, but all has gone well. Once the implant procedure is completed I will be going back to Dr. Kiriluk for the porcelain bridge. This whole experience has been positive, thus far.

    Staff: Everyone is very friendly, really has helped put me at ease.
    Bedside: Great! Again here, Dr Faubl's manner really helped put me at ease and made me very comfortable with going and getting work done.

    I initially chose Lakewood Dental because of it's location to my house. After speaking with them the first time with the pain I was experiencing they had me come in same day to be seen. I was a new patient but it was as if they knew me for years. They truly cared about helping me and after determining it wasn't a dental issue they still followed up to see how I was doing. My 3 routine visits since then have been just as good. They remember me and take the time to get to know me as a person and a patient. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist. Thanks Lakewood Dental for making a dentist experience a pleasant one.
