    GCM Construction Professional Basement Remodeling
I contacted Guy to get a quote to finish our entire basement. We had a few ideas of what we wanted in our basement but he was able to give us more ideas of how to best use the space. After receiving a few more bids, Guy's bid was considerably less and he was going to be able to finish by the holidays. His quote was also done in a professional manner....computer drawings, timeline and a list of what we would need to supply. Throughout the work, Guy was timely, checked in on the subs in the morning then checked in with us at night. He kept us updated and made sure the subs were getting their work done and cleaning up after themselves. We have worked with a number of contractors throughout the years. Guy is the only one that responds in a timely manner which makes the working relationship so much easier! We'd gladly have him back and have already recommended him to our friends.

    #1 Plumbing Company Inc
Mike was very responsive and did a great job. He was timely and easy to work with. He seemed honest and hardworking throughout the project. He installed new plumbing for our remodeling project, where we created a new kitchen and mud room in the house. He also came back and installed the drains, faucets and ensured the old kitchen was disconnected properly. We was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend his work.

    Diamond Bath LLC
The provider detailed every step of our project at the onset.  The proposal was finely detailed and all-inclusive. They  put us in touch with all of their product suppliers to make our own selections and allowed us to modify the proposal to our specific needs and product preferences . They were responsive at every step of the project and their installation team was the best. They were neat, professional and did outstanding work. We encountered a few surprises which they handled immediately and to our satisfaction and all at a fair price. I would use them again in an instant and would highly recommend them for anyone who wants a seamless and pleasurable experience with their bathroom remodel.

    Eli's Painting & Renovations Inc
The project was the renovation of a 1400 square ft apt. The contractor removed all old flooring, base moldings, he installed all new wood flooring and porcelain flooring. He put in all new crown and base moldings, put in all new light fixtures, installed kitchen appliances after the new cabinets were put in, installed window blinds, painted the entire apt. The initial bid was submitted promptly and accurately. The project was completed on time and on budget. Both Eli and his wife Rachel are conscientious and honest. They completed the punch list and came back again until it was all done correctly. It was a pleasure working with both of them and their team.

    Subco Construction
We have done 5 or 6 remodeling projects both for the home and work. In all that time I have never written a bad review, we just went our separate ways and usually things got done at a fair price. I try to support the people that have done well and not try to say bad things about companies when things may be an outlier. Unfortunately, I can't do that with Subco Construction. We hired them in March 2013 for a large remodel of a foreclosed home we bought. When we met Bill he told us it would be 6 months, but in case of delays our contract was for 8 months. We added a couple of bathroom remodels to the project, but largely was unchanged. The house took 19 months until we were in the house. We moved up for schools for our kids and the house was supposed to be done, but we had to find alternate living arrangements for a year. There were no apologies and it was said that it was our fault because we were picky with the finishes. We had an agreement for the costs and there were hundreds of thousands of dollars in extra's and change costs along the way. Now after final payment he is saying that there are even more things he didn't charge for that he wants to be paid for. Thankfully our architect was a godsend and helped us out so much. Subco also broke sinks and such and there is no replacement or credit for them. If we were going back in time we would never, ever hire them and suggest to everyone on this forum that they do the same. If you have questions please feel free to email me at stephenprusso@hotmail.com because I wouldn't want someone to go through the same thing we did.

    Barts Remodeling & Construction Inc
Bart and his team were absolutely wonderful.  Bart is very professional as is his staff.   They were always on time and very attentive to our needs.  From the start of the project throughout the design process and execution, Bart held true to his word.   His approach is very professional and he ensures that all documentation is in order and that all scope is clearly defined and agreed to.   The craftmenship was to agreed specifications and Bart and his staff always provided good insight along the way.  I am looking forward to using Bart and his team on any new projects in the future.

    Inspired Living Spaces
Renovation is stressful and we are so glad we had Jay to help us through the process. He did everything from the design the layout upstairs, advice on new siding, picked a great shower head, fixtures, etc. hiccups are going to happen and he handled them all smoothly, whether it be ordering problems, house surprises, whatever - we learned our options and discussed, and everything was taken care of quickly. The wrong chandelier was installed and that was remedied smoothly. Drawer handles were back ordered so he and I made an extra trip to find new ones. We didn't pick out laundry tile so he suggested a good one to expedite things and it looks great. We hated the no door shower so a glass door was installed quickly. Jay also had a lot of thoughtful extras, like pull out steps for the kids bath and cabinets above the toilets. We liked his style and weren't disappointed in the end! The only minor drawback, which also has to do with our inexperience,is that it was difficult to keep track of costs. We added on a ton of things and while we were told the ost of little additions, it was difficult to track it all together to know where the final cost would be. And the contractor percentage is separate so it's higher than the number you initially are told. But overall we weren't too surprised by the final cost. And I know we got what we paid for, and it was worth every penny, so we would hire Jay again in an instant!

    Weshorn Design & Construction
Wes gave us really good ideas about how to change the layout and redesign our 30 year old bathroom to be modern and really beautiful. After we agreed on the design, he took measurements and gave us a quote for the 3 dimensional renderings which was $1700.00. The design included moving fixtures around, removing a wall, doubling the shower size, adding a privacy wall, adding a small closet an other really cool features. He also spoke to us about realistic costs. We elected to not move forward immediately because the realistic costs were higher than expected but plan to revisit the bathroom upgrade in a year or so. We really liked working with Wes.
