ABudget Right HandymanMy technician, Elvis, did an outstanding job with a high degree of professionalism and skill. He was great at talking through the scope of work, providing updates, and offering beneficial consultation. Elvis was very respectful in the way he approached conversations and in his attentiveness to ensuring the areas of my home where the work was being performed were protected and cleaned/organized during and upon job completion. I am truly amazed at all he accomplished on my very long 'list' and appreciative that he did the work with a level of detail and care as he would if it were his own home. That is really hard to find. I have been a customer of Budget Right for many years. I also greatly appreciate the responsiveness, flexibility and focus on customer satisfaction consistently provided by the staff. The lower rating on Price is due to the increases over time and varied work efficiency to complete the job across technicians. As a matter of practice, the office will match their best technician to the scope of work, but if you can't wait for that appointment date, you may get someone who isn't as experienced. The other way to save is to pre-purchase materials needed, to avoid the technician having to spend time at Home Depot or elsewhere. Budget Right is my go-to for jobs big and small for my home and rental property. I highly recommend them.- EILEEN B.

ASimply Custom BlindsThey have a great selection of Hunter Douglas, purchased the Edinburgh 801 - Historical Castle motorized. Greg Was help full in going through everything and options to make our purchase great, wasn't pushy at all on trying to sell us more stuff. Blinds took a little longer because of the holidays and was we'll worth the wait! We live in a high rise with a shared dinning/living room and only decided to do the living room side for now, going to be getting the dinning room done shortly. Blinds look great in this space and completely flow with everything!- Ron C.

Harold didn't push me to replace more than I needed and worked with me to find the best replacement match possible. This was tricky because the original brand is now out of business. But he looked at all options, even calling Hunter Douglas twice to check on some details that I never even thought of. While I was warned that some orders were taking up to 8 weeks to be filled, mine was ready in 1 week. Harold came and installed the new blind and you'd never know it was a replacement for a different brand. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again if the need arises.- CATHLEEN T.

Called Robert and was able to talk with him right away. Sent him over a list and he got back to me with a pretty detailed---and very reasonable---quote. Over the years, I've purchased custom made draperies, sheers, valances, cornices, roman pullups, and cellular shades. Whatever you order, the price will be reasonable and your window treatments will look fantastic. AAfter trying to replace our old couch with a new one we were very unhappy with, we decided to reupholster our beloved family room sectional. Dave quickly stopped by to look over the job and give a quote. He brought fabric selections to us and even brought a second batch when we were having a difficult time making a choice. We also asked if the cushions could be replaced and if the area that gets the most use could get added support. All requests were no problem. The quote on price and delivery time were met and Dave delivered our couch to us looking shiny and new. Extra buttons for the tufting and extra material ( in case we were to experience any future damage) were supplied, which was a greatly appreciated extra! The entire process was smooth and pleasant. Dave is a really nice guy who knows his business. We are very happy that Upholstery World gave our favorite old couch a new life.

AThese folks are top-notch. In April there was a storm with huge hail that got us a new roof, including replacement of two skylights that were damaged. We figured when getting the new roof it would be perfect time to add a couple of skylights to another dark area of our home. Figuring all of that out was a headache when dealing with various roofers and I was getting frustrated...until I found these fine folks and once I did find them all of my skylight confusion was gone -- magically. They made the process painless took the time to explain our options and why they were best-suited for the job. This is all they do - and it shows because their work is fantastic. Back to their recommendations - they made recommendations that were not even on my radar (hello tax credit and holy cow, sun tunnels are ahhh-mazing for small areas!). We ended up replacing the damaged skylights which were manual with solar-powered ones, with a gateway that makes them SUPER-skylights and decided to wait on the installation of new ones in the other area of our home. I wanted to have some time with the replacement skylights before making the decision which type of skylights to add. A sun tunnel was also suggested since they are pretty surprisingly cost effective - a Big Bang for your buck. And boy are they! Communication was second-to-none and every single person from those in the office, to sales to the installer were amazing. They bent over backwards when our roof replacement was delayed due to rain and we had to postpone the original install date to get us on the schedule within a reasonable amount of time. These folks are at the top of my list as far as contractors go. Zero disappointments...and that's not often a thing with contractors. I'm certain we'll be working with them again in the next year...I'm so grateful to have found them.
