  When I was getting estimates to have my furnace replaced, I had called a few different places. John's was the only place that took the time to explain my options and give me a complete estimate. They told me that it was going to cost me around $2500. John's came in, removed all the old duct-work and furnace, and installed all new. They were very polite and clean. I even had to call them back to the house about 8yrs later for a faulty thermostat. The gentleman that came in tested everything and determined that the thermostat was indeed bad. An approximate $70 later and the furnace was running like it should again.

  The estimate for the job was high because the professional believed he would have to cut into, and remove some old plaster in order to replace the necessary pipes. Because my husband and I both had to work, we asked the professional if he was willing to come in the side door if we left it open, and work alone in our house. He agreed. (Living in a small town has some advantages.)
  I was pleasantly surprised to arrive home and find out that the wall did not have to be cut. That eliminated a lot of dirt and dust. I don't know how the man was able to work in the small exposed area, but not only did it save us a lot of cleaning, it also saved us a lot of money. The area where the work was done was clean. The tub drain no longer leaks and the sink drains well. I certainly will call this company again if I need any work done that they provide.

  My boiler system quit circulating hot water through the radiators.
  They were the first company that were willing to come out and take a look.
  He came in the house and IMMEDIATELY put slippers on over his shoes so he wouldn't track mud/dirt/whatever through the house, even after I told him I didn't care.
  Upon seeing the radiators, he informed me that a boiler system is charged by the hour, not the "flat" fee forced air systems get charged and asked if I still wanted him to look.  I agreed, although I was a little irked that the lady that answered my call didn't inform me of that after I (repeatedly) informed her about the radiators not working.
  As he worked, he talked me through what he was doing and why he was doing it.  He explained how the system worked and what I should do for future maintenance and what I could do try to fix it myself before calling them out for a service call.
  After a couple hours of working through the system, opening all the radiators to bleed out any air, we finally found an air lock.  I was watching him use a paperclip to check for air bubbles when the bubble burst and shot a stream of water out of the radiator and all over me.
  Within minutes, all my radiators were circulating water and the house was warming up.  
  I'm impressed he worked with me to help me understand the system and avoid future costly service calls.
  I would definitely call them back with future heating problems.
