    High Quality Painting LLC
We highly recommend Salvador and his team. They were respectful, reliable and incredibly hard-working. Most important, their workmanship and attention to detail were top-notch. Excellent tile work, carpentry, drywall, painting and more. Great communication and work ethic.

    High Performance Construction
I had a 2 bedroom condo that was looking a little run down. I gave Dave a call and we was able to work me in. He was very professional and he has great pricing. Dave helped us select colors and made recommendations on how we could save money (this was a rental). He worked very hard and was able to paint the whole condo in 4 days. He did a great job and a very fair price. I am happy with his work and wil be calling him for all my painting needs going forward. Thanks!

    Accurate Painting & Remodeling
Pete originally came out to paint my house. They were on time, professional and hard working. This was a big job, living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and two hallways. one has a ceiling that is at least 15 feet high. They were very trustworthy and we were comfortable with having them in our home when we needed to go out. This job was completed in 2 days The second job was to remodel a small bathroom, this was done a month later. They started on a Saturday and were done in 7 days (pictures attached) this is my dream bathroom. it is small so I could have fun with this. Pete provided suggestions and ideas that were very helpful. the cost for both jobs was very reasonable. 2600 for the painting, 4000 for the bathroom. I would definitely recommend Pete and use him again for future jobs.

    J T General Contracting
I've had the pleasure of working with J.T. General Contracting over a period of approx. 3 years. During the process of upgrading my mother's house, Jim Taccola (owner) guided me thru 2 bathroom remodels, several door replacements, a front stoop replacement and numerous other projects. He not only demonstrated expertise in many areas of remodeling and repair, but was also skilled in coordinating the various trades involved. He was honest and insightful with regards to all aspects of the projects from general concepts to minor details. He was consistently timely in communications, respectful and sensitive to our needs throughout. And this all with a most pleasant demeanor. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Jim and would highly recommend him to anyone interested in just about any facet of home remodeling or repair.

Jim was always professional and paid attention to both detail and price. We now have a beautiful tile floor in the basement. and the walls and ceiling have never looked better. We had some additional water problems during the job and he helped us solve them.

    Bosco Plastering Inc
Charlie helped me determine the scope of work needed to get the job done and at a fair price. In the end the ceiling was covered with drywall, without disturbing the crown moulding to my relief. Charlie also helped me find a great painter at the last minute!

    Tapia's Co
I purchased the 4 hour deal in early June and was told they wouldn't be able to complete work until July. I received two phone calls in June to make sure I knew they still had me on the calendar. An opening came up and Raymundo showed up with a smile. He was diligent and attentive.  He fixed two areas of drywall and one area of plaster. There was an hour left hour and instead of leaving early he asked if there was any other work that needed to be done. I was ecstatic as there was an area damaged by a leak near the shower that needed repair. he finished pass the time and simply said "I hope you are happy with the work." It was a pleasure having Tapia's do work and I would highly recommend this service.

    Pitelka Plastering & Stucco
I contacted Dan Patelka on a Monday and explained that my Wife was coming home from receiving intensive medical care the following Sunday and her bedroom needed extensive plaster repair.  He inspected the room, gave me an estimate and scheduled the work all in the same day.   The work was completed in one day later that week.  Except for the newly plastered walls,  I could not tell that he and his partner were ever there.   I could not have been happier with the final results and Dan's response to my time restraints.  I will certainly give  him a call when I am ready to have two other repairs that I have in mind.

It was new to me to do everything by email but the end result made it OK! I sent pictures of what I needed done and Rich sent me an estimate. He and his son were prompt. They worked quietly and efficiently and did a great  job. There was a break in getting the work done but Rich's wife Barb did a nice job of keeping me informed of when it would be finished. It was a little hard for me to schedule a time because they did not offer weekends and I work full time. I had to take time off.

    Rick Remaly Painting

    Here's what went right :

    • -  The wallpaper removal job went smoothly, and the workmen vacuumed and cleaned afterwards.

    • -  One of the workmen carried away 2 bags of debris from the wallpaper job, after I mentioned that I had no easy way to dispose of them personally. This was much appreciated.

    • Here's what went wrong :

    • -  This provider twice cancelled scheduled appointments ? in both cases minutes before arrival time.
      • -  Rescheduling the first appointment was difficult, as the provider did not respond to my emails or phone calls. I eventually had to ask the Angie team to facilitate rescheduling.

      • -  Despite my repeated requests for changes to be communicated to me by phone (I do not have a smart phone which captures email, and it is not possible for me to constantly check personal email for possible messages because of work commitments), the owner refused to comply. The reason he gave is that Angie urges its providers to use email in order to preserve copies of communications -- which is understandable. However, given client preferences, it is always possible to call, then follow up with an email for the record. This awkward method of communication made the cancellations and rescheduling even more personally inconvenient.

      • -  Prior to painting, I covered some of the furniture with sheets, and left drop cloths to cover the rest after the pieces had been moved away from the walls; however, the cloths were not used and the top of a hutch now contains drops of white paint from when the ceiling was painted.

      • -  The painting job was sub-standard. There were 2 patches on the wall which were not fully covered and in which the underlying wall showed through. In addition, the painter did not remove a wall vent before painting, instead painting around and slightly over the edges of the vent. This resulted in small patches of paint peeling off when I removed the vent to clean it a week and a half after the job was completed. I had to repair all of these defects personally.

      • -  The owner indicated he would call me after the final work was completed to ensure everything was satisfactory. I did not hear from him.

    - Theresa W.
