Great experience.   Pat was very professional and his guys were great!   They removed the whole drive in the morning laid down stones.  I thought this would be a 2 day job but Pat said no they would be back in the afternoon.  They came back around 1:30pm and started laying the asphalt.  They did a great job and fast!  The drive looks fantastic.  I would highly recommend using Irish Paving.   You can call, email and text Pat.  You will get a response in a timely manner.  I wasn't concerned if I didn't hear back immediately as it was "high" season and knew they had many jobs.  I ALWAYS heard back.   I couldn't of asked for anything better. Great company and great guys!

Job went smoothly.  Grading is perfect. Job was completed with 3 days with removal of old concrete, and installation of approx. 6" gravel/stone subfloor and approx. 2.5" thick new blacktop. .  Crew worked very hard; very professional.  Contractor was on job site majority of time.  Clean up was excellent.

Dealing with Frank was very easy - the initial request for quote was done through the company website with the information I submitted - a professional estimate was emailed to me in a timely matter for my review - after gathering several bids I called Frank and asked if he could supply some referrals in the area that I could take a look at, no problem supplying addresses of previous work sites after that I set up an appointment to actually meet and discuss the project in person - Frank was very helpful with any questions I had and was able to address any concerns about the project I had - work was started on time and completed as agreed. The job was finished today and I was very pleased thus far.

I had heard that this company did very good work but was more expensive than many others. We decided that we wanted quality. Also, Angie's List recommended them, and we talked personally to people who had used them. They are also in a near-by town. We were impressed that the owner himself came out and talked to us and supervised the work.

Richard Smith met with me to discuss the project. He was prompt to arrive for an estimate. We reviewed my neighbors new asphalt drive (done by another firm) and critiqued it - assessing what Noble Paving would do differently/better. Mr. Smith was proud of his track record with residential and commercial properties. I pointed out that my neighbors drive was done using a front end loader and hand spread. Mr. Smith said he had a real nice professional paving machine that would fit in my yard and the width of my driveway. I assumed a better job would result and he confirmed that. He was proud of his paving machine. The crew arrived a few days later than hoped, but weather and his scheduling were among the reasons. They worked hard and finished the job in 5 hours or so. Mr. Smith had recently had a bad experience with an major asphalt supplier in our area (Central Blacktop), so he made the effort to get a supposedly better quality, hotter asphalt mix at another location of his choice, some 25 miles away. He said this supplier offered a finer mixture, and adds sand to their mix - which most don't. The finished job looks nice, seems well graded for channeling water away from my home. After a recent rain, it had just a few minor puddles that take half an hour or so to drain or dry. The crew did a decent job of cleaning up afterward. No big messes. They were careful around my gardens. A side note: As the new asphalt was being put down, I noticed Mr. Smith moving asphalt from his truck to my driveway with a front-end loader. His crew would then hand spread it. When I asked why he wasn't using the paving machine that we discussed (which sat on his trailer nearby), he said that it was his perogative to decide how best to handle my project. That I pay him to give me the best possible product. I'm relatively pleased with the end result, yet I wonder if I would have had a smoother/perhaps thicker surface had he used the paving machine that he had led me to believe would yield a superior job. We'll never know. Lastly, I would have liked a bit more communication. There were times when a phone call updating me on scheduling for my job would have been nice, versus simply showing up mid-morning unannounced. Glad I was home. Overall, a good experience. I just didn't appreciate the last minute surprise with it's application via hand.
