I was impressed last week until I went for alignment today. I had new tires put on last Thursday & was told a control arm had a "little play", but they would check it out today when I went back for alignment. The woman at the counter who checked me out insisted if there was anything bad, they wouldn't do the alignment - they wouldn't waste my money. After they aligned the car, they run my card and then she says the control arms are bad on the right side. I said I thought if it was bad, they wouldn't do the alignment. She said oh, they're ok until you can get to your mechanic. I leave, go straight to mechanic because I know we did the control arm, ball joint, idler arms, etc. within the last several months. We schedule it to go in under warranty work. As I'm leaving, he says "we'll get this all taken care of & you can reschedule your alignment" I said they did it today. He said "really? they did?" I said "yes - I got charged for one". He said "huh - that's odd - I wonder why they did that... ". We talked a few more minutes & I left. I called West Side on my way home. I asked if she remembered telling me they wouldn't do the alignment if the control arm was bad. She said she did. I said so why did they do it? I don't understand, was that so I had to come back & pay to have it done again. She became very defensive & said "we don't know, we're just the front desk girls. well we'll just do it again for free then." I said I wasn't sure I wanted to come back, that I feel they were trying to take advantage of me. She became quite indignant & told me I would have to talk to the owner. She put the phone down, but didn't put me on hold. I heard every nasty thing she said to the owner about me on the phone. She came back and said 'if we didn't align it, it would ruin your tires!!" I said if it was that bad, then why did you even put the new tires on? She said 'you can just come back for a refund." I told her I would not be back, but my husband would be in. He went in and they made a huge production about how the car should not be driven at all, it was ruining the tires (which had been on 4 days - I'd driven about 150 miles), it should be parked or they would be bald before Friday (today is Monday). I still don't understand if there was a problem with the front end which would affect the tires, wouldn't the ethical thing be to tell me not to put the new tires on until the control arm was fixed in the first place? Not take my money for putting the tires on and then again take more money for doing an alignment which would have to be redone after the control arm was fixed? My husband did receive a receipt for refund, but it has not yet shown up pending to our account (but the charge sure came out fast enough).

Jerry first determined that the sensing element could be replaced without having to replace the entire fuel pump assembly. This had a huge impact by keeping the cost of repair to a minimum! I had repair estimates from two other repair shops for $600 and $850. I suspected the high estimates, because I know that variable resistors are very simple and those numbers make no sense to someone familiar with electronic devices. The high estimates from the other repair shops were accompanied by speculation of how difficult and time consuming the job "might" be if the gas tank bolts were rusty or if other unspecified complications "might" make the job even more expensive. I am so glad that I got a second opinion  from Levi's Garage that is in Angies List.

It went horrible. Granted we brought the car in a couldnt pay right away and both parties had worked out a plan but once things were supposed to get started we never recieved  answers. The lack of communication was incredible. We were constatntly getting the run around.  One day it was they knew what was wrong and hada diagnosis and the next it was no one had a clue. At one point a tech had personal issues-which is understandable-but when we looked for answers no one could tell us anything. Its like they didint share information with one another. We waited a grand total of 3 weeeks for the car to get fixed. Thats not including the month it sat there becasue of financial issues.  We even had to rent a car for a week because we were losing time at work and its winter and theres only so many places you can walk and ride the bus. They wouldnt compensate us for the rental. They charged us 400 for labor adn over 500 for parts. There was a 4% credit card charge on top of there already inflated fees. It turns out it was a simple fix and they were either overlooking it or milking out the charges to get more money but thats just my opinion. I do not recommend having your car fixed here. A waste of time, money, and energy. Unprofessional and horrible!

Right on the money. I am a senior citizen and female. I appreciate the time they take to talk to me and explain. I like their professionalism. Always polite and respectful. And I trust them.
