    They have been absolutely fabulous. The staff is very friendly and prompt in helping, answering and explaining. The hospital is clean and the food is excellent. The level of care is quite good. They give full confidence in staff there. They don't have a stuck-up attitude. They are just very down to earth. They explain everything in everyday language and want to make sure that you understand fully what they are talking to you about. They are just great.

    Overall, this is a wonderful service the hospital does for the community. It provides a Colon Cancer kit that you receive in the mail. Follow the directions and then mail it back to their labs. Silver Cross Hospital then sends the results to you and to your doctor. You do not have to be a patient. This is done for the community. Very generous thing to do.

    I'm 43 years old, and went to the Sliver Cross Hospital ER today for a heart arrhythmia known as SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia). I was greeted immediately, in a wheelchair w/in 5 seconds and registered and on my way to an ER exam room w/in 20 seconds. The facility was clean and modern (even though the hospital is moving in February, 2012) and the staff were professional, kind, attentive patient-oriented. The doctor consulted with an in-house cardiologist and resolved the issue quickly. I was in and out in two hours. If you have to go to the ER, I highly recommend the Silver Cross.

    I found this hospital to be very patient friendly.I had multiple scoliosis and I usually get a fever and become very sick if I have an episode. They are constantly checking on you and very sympathetic towards your ailment. I didn't have to wait long to be seen and that is very rare for a hospital. I like the staff and how organized and in tune they are with the patients. I brought my brother here and as he was dying, they kept him very comfortable. It was so much better than the other place he had come from.I will continue to use this hospital if necessary in the future.

    I went in late at night with a rather nasty pain in my ear. Service was understandably slow for an ER, and I recognize that I wasn't high on the triage scale - though it certainly didn't seem busy. The PA on duty told me I had an ear infection, gave me a topical anesthetic and a prescription for antibiotics. My only real complaint is that they seemed completely unresponsive to my complaint that the pain had not subsided in the least in the half-hour since they put in the anesthetic. I could feel the anesthetic working (tingling and numbness) in my outer-ear, but it wasn't affecting the area that was actually in pain. I was somewhat disoriented from the pain, and couldn't explain this as clearly as I wished, but the staff were dismissive of my attempts. The only reason I went into the ER instead of waiting for the morning and going to a clinic was that the pain was unbearable. So, perhaps they treated me in a medically correct manner, but completely failed to solve the problem I actually wanted help with.

    This was the best hospital. The nursing staff was wonderful. It was a very updated hospital.

    They didn't do anything for us. We had to go get a walker for her at our other doctor. There, we got an MRI and a physical scheduled. This hospital basically did nothing for us.

    It was very easy to check-in because it is a computer check-in. The technicians were all very nice and were on time for my testing. They were professional and had good bedside manners.
