    Diamond Bath LLC
Excellent! James and Jen (owners) are friendly professionals. The entire staff (designer/Melissa, project manager/John and laborer/Rick) were all talented, responsive and easy to work with. Removed an old Jacuzzi Tub/Shower and repaired the drywall. Then installed a beautiful shower in Onyx, and replaced the vanity. (We painted and installed the flooring and Jim/Rick cooperated nicely with us. We would definitely hire Diamond Bath again... in a heartbeat!!

    House Smart Remodeling
We interviewed 5 different contractors but absolutely loved the design Chris provided for us. He provided us with a beautifully designed kitchen, brand new cabinets, counter tops, took out a wall to open up the space, completely refinished the oak floors, all the plumbing, electrical etc. The total project from start to finish took about 2.5 months. As you can see from the pictures the remodel is absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommend.

Both Jobs were completed with superior quality. The bathroom project held unforseen problems which were clearly communicated and expertly repaired. I was treated very fairily and would not hesitate to recommend them for additional work. Thank You Jason and crew!

It was a very positive experience. I was nervous about hiring someone I did not know but everything turned out just great. He was a very nice guy and I will definitely use him again with my future projects. He even brought his adorable daughter with him one Saturday for a few hours and she loved helping her Daddy,

Handy Men & Mrs Helper Kitchen & Bath
The project was supposed to begin today.
I cleared out the bathroom and scheduled the city to shut off the water.
The contractor arrived on time, but was not aware of the details that the project entailed. I showed him the bathroom and explained the tub, surround and fixtures needed to be removed, the sub floor built up, insulation put into the walls if needed, the new tub installed, new surround installed, drywall replaced over the tub and new fixtures.  It appeared he did know / was not told what all the project entailed and said he was working alone.  I let him know this was making me very nervous and called Handyman & Mrs. Helper  and left a voice mail.
A half hour later the contractor came back into my house and said Andy would be calling me and that the city should not shut my water off today.
I received a call from Andy and I was told that while the company does about fifty (50) bath remodels each year, mine is different because my bathroom was so small, etc. and I stopped the conversation there.
I restated that when I received the estimate, the bathroom was measured, we reviewed the items I purchased, how the instructions said to install them, and the extensive work that could be needed.  At the time of the estimate, I also said I was nervous hiring another local company because I already had a contractor flake out on me, and I needed this bathroom completed and completed well. At the time of the estimate and when I signed the contract, I was assured it would be no issue and that everything would be taken care of.
End result;  My bathroom will not be completed by HM&MH, I was told I would receive my $200 deposit back and I wasted a day off work. Unbelievable.
I don't understand why someone would assure me a project could and would be done, and then on the day of the project say they didn't "realize" what the project entailed or didn't realize the contractor they scheduled could not perform the work they told me they would do.
There are many good reviews on this company so I'm sure they do great work , however I did not receive that great work.
Extremely disappointed and tired.  On the hunt for a new contractor. Again.

    GR General Contracting
    - Given quote by contractor for bathroom and gutter project
    - Contractor visited the house, and also emailed me the quotes
    - scheduled appointment for both jobs on July 14
    - I purchased the new tub, surround, fixtures and drywall - all are in my garage.
    - I had the city shut off the water to my home on the 14th before contractor arrived
    - On July 14 I received aphone call in the morning that they would notbe able to do the bathroom, and they asked to reschedule.
    - I rescheduled for my next day off, the following Monday.
    - July 14, a worker came out and removed the gutters, but did not have a long enough ladder to remove the last few feet. He will return later this week.
    - Nails were not replaced and now the fascia trim is not secure at the top, there are just a bunch of nail holes. Emailed contractor to have this fixed when worker returns to remove the last few feet of gutter.
    - Called to put the deposit down on the shower/tub project and pay for the gutter removal
    - Received a call that contractor would be out to the do the bathroom remodel in the afternoon but may not finish it all.
    - Received an email that I would still be able to use the shower even if all the drywall was not finished, and they would come out another day to finish the drywall
    - Responded to contractor that that was not acceptable and the bathroom needs to be done in one day. Suggested I could find another contractor if they cannot finish the project in one day.
    - Contractor offered to refund my deposit and that I should find another contractor because they don't have time to do my bathroom project.
    - Was told a check would be dropped off when the worker comes to finish removing the gutter; still no response on the nail holes or how much the refund will be. (Deposit was for both projects)
After thinking about this, I'm extremely disappointed. I have bathroom "parts" in my garage, and no new bathroom.  This has been a huge inconvenience for us and I'm now on the hunt for a legit contractor to get this project done before August.  I honestly don't understand why someone would schedule an appointment and take a deposit if they knew they were unable to complete the job as requested.  Still hoping to have the nails replaced in the fascia and last part of the gutter removed, and waiting for an invoice on the work that was done and the amount they will be returning.  I just don't get it.

    J & J Decorating
I contracted John to stain the molding and bottom panel of our bay window and do some drywall repair.  The company that put the window in did a lousy job of it, by filling in the nail holes and puttying the corners before it was stained (wish I had consulted Angie's list for the window)  John was very up front about where he might have challenges with getting the stain to take in the areas where they put the putty. He walked me step by step through how he would do the 2 small dry wall repairs.  He said the work could be completed in a single day.   I wasn't in a hurry to get the work done, and in the meantime, my husband and I decided to remodel our bathroom.  Several holes in the ceiling, and many areas of ripped drywall later, we had finished gutting the bathroom.  I called John to lock in a date, and mentioned to him that I might have a "few" more areas for him to fix.  The only minor issue I had was finally locking in a date to get the work done.  Because John is so good and in high demand, we did have a little bit of trouble locking down a date to do the work. That being said, when we did get the date locked in, John and his son were very prompt on time, and very considerate when it came to making sure they didn't drag a bunch of dirt in on my floors.  I showed him the "extra" work I had and I could see the reservations in his face.  He told me he would do his best to get it all done in one day,  but he might have to return to finish the extra work I threw at him.  They worked very diligently and very quietly too.  I say this because I was home tending to my mother that had just had surgery a day before.  She didn't even know they were in the house.  Amazingly enough, John and his son were able to complete ALL the work that day.  He did a fabulous job with the stain even in the areas where he though there might be a problem.  His son did a lot of the drywall work, and they kept it very clean and as dust free as possible. The original quote John gave me I thought was very fair, (I had a couple of other quotes significantly higher) was $480.  I was surprised to find that the final bill after a lot of additional work thrown on was only $650.00.  The work was high quality, and I don't doubt even if I had an issue, John would be out here to resolve it immediately.  I highly recommend J&J Decorating.

    M.C. Construction
He did a lot for us.  He had a guy who does treatments for mold and stuff.  I actually heard about him through my brother.  I thought he was willing to do whatever we wanted do.  I also thought he had some good ideas about things that we had talked about wanting.  He didn't seem to screw us by anything.  He did all the walls and all that stuff that was all in his deal.  He did run into some problems and repaired them as they needed to be repaired.  We are going to use him again.

    Done Right Drywall & Taping
Johns team did a great job at a great price.  Him and his staff were friendly and easy to do business with, he worked around my schedule to complete all work.  After work was complete and debts were paid, he came back 2-3 times (even on a Sunday) to touch up spots that needed it.  I will be using this company again in the near future for other home improvement projects and would recommend them to anyone needing drywall work done.
