    We both had thorough eye exams; they have in house optometrist and dye glass center. But they did not push me into buying glasses there since other places are cheaper. Cataract surgery for husband went very well. Dr Lam came out to talk with me after surgery. Very professional and dedicated.

    I'm diabetic, and he makes sure that I'm doing okay. He does a thorough exam. He's very concerned about your overall health, your diabetes or any condition that could infect your eyes; he discusses it. He's old-school, in the positive sense. He's very personable, and friendly.

    OMG! What an experience! I should have listened to the reviews but thats what I get. I went to get the 2 for $99 glasses (which actually was $150). I needed glasses for reading/computer and I needed bifocals. First off, they have false advertising saying that "glasses in one hour". My readers took 2 days and my bifocals took 1 1/2 weeks. The 1st doctor I saw for the exam was very arrogant and argumentative when I told him I need to see about 2 feet distance with the computers he said that I should move all the computers at work closer to me. I explained that I cannot do this because I share these computers with 8 other co - workers. Then he starts going into how I can sue the company etc etc....I JUST WANTED MY GLASSES RIGHT - I dont want to sue my company.

    So, I go pick up my glasses when they were done and the prescription of course was wrong! He had the readers so I have to sit 6 inches in front of the computer. The bifocals were warped. It was like being in the fun house when I had them on or like having vertigo.  When I complained about this the girls in the office laughed at me and rolled there eyes (Very professional). So I saw a different Dr. on another day and he agreed with me that the prescription was wrong and he said the bifocals were not cut properly.

    I had them do both glasses again.
    I went back a week and a half later and this time the bifocals were completely wrong. The girls again were sarcastic and asked me if I ever wore bifocals before. I said YES I got them at Lens Crafters - they took 1 hour - and I walked out of there happy!!. Then I told her I want my money back, I dont want the glasses. They again laughed at me and they were laughing at this other woman in the store complaining that her contacts were the wrong prescription.  The manager couldnt figure out how to charge it back to my credit card so I just left with the glasses.
    Another manager called me a few days later and told me to come in and she gave me the money back no problems. All this went on back and forth from June to August. NEVER AGAIN! Don't go to a place just because its closer to home!!

    My daughter lost the glasses that we bought in their Roseville store. So my husband called and asked them if they could replace the glasses. They made 2 new pairs of glasses based the prescription that we originally had. They had all the add-ons and extras again when I went to pick them up. They suggested me to go to their office in Mannheim where they can help me. However when I went to Mannheim, the guy there said that he cannot do that. He said that I have to wait 3 weeks. I wanted to return the glasses as per their return policy. He was not ready for that and said that it would against his store sales.
