They came on time prepared to work. Started immediately. Worked diligently until the job was completed. Very conscientious, neat, cleaned up after job was completed, polite, pleasant & hard working. We are planning to use him again. Would highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely refer him to family & friends.

To say that I'm happy with Murphy's Windows would be an understatement. From my first meeting with Jimmy Murphy, I was impressed by his knowledge, confidence, and creative instincts. He listened carefully and executed everything that I requested, adding suggestions that I had not envisioned. I was pleasantly surprised when his estimate was very reasonable, especially compared to others in the industry of equal quality. I can't say enough about the professionalism, responsiveness, and craftsmanship of his tradespeople. Don's tireless work on the siding was superb; the window and door installers were excellent; and I was so pleased with the quality of the OKNA windows and how easily they opened and closed. Jimmy and his crew bent over backward to make sure that I was happy with the job they promised and they did not disappoint My home looks brand new again and Murphy's was such a pleasure to work with. What a transformation! I would not hesitate to contact them for any future projects that I may plan.

The two lights outside were installed and electrician even cleaned out the area and sealed it so bugs would not get in. Very happy with the way they look.
He installed a pull switch in the upstairs light/fan that was faulty.  Unfortunately, however, there was something wrong with the unit itself and so it did not work properly.  The following week I purchased a new fan/light for that room and hired the electrician to return on 10/29/2015 and install the new fan, plus replace another fan and light in the dining room and kitchen.   Very happy with the work and Mr. Stockwell and plan on having him return in the spring to repair a coach light I have outside.

This was a HUGE project, and Bill and his team did an amazing job. From the incredibly innovative design, to the installation of every last outlet cover - - their team worked swiftly and cleanly to get everything done to MY perfection!
We began with comparing several kitchen contractors to get very rough estimates, struck out the highest and lowest priced ones, and then worked with 3 remaining groups. Express not only offered a very competitive price, but they offered so much more detail than anyone else was willing to provide. We talked thru a few solutions to making our kitchen better, and then they came back with THE MOST AMAZING ideas to solve our space issues. There were so many details I hadn't thought of that Bill helped us with. The price was well under several other contractors, and we were assured the materials would be much better than "contractor grade". Bill and his team were really personable, down-to-earth professionals, so, based on the designs, costs, and our "gut" - we decided to go with them.  Also, I really appreciated that Bill was familiar with our area, and knew about the general market value of our house. He wasn't going to sell us a designer kitchen that we wouldn't be able to recoup our costs on - should we ever decide to sell.
Anyhow, demolition began, and the crew let my 7 & 9 yr old sons "help" - - they were very patient with the boys, and saw what JOY this brought to their eyes, so let them help tear down a wall. Everything was taken out and most of our 3 rooms (kitchen, dining room & front room) was down to bare studs. During renovation, the crew discovered we had some big electrical problems hidden up in the attic, and they spent several days (and even pulled roof down) to repair them - at no extra cost to us. It was such a relief to know that the contract price was THE PRICE. There were no extras, no hidden fees, no surcharges - - nothing. They came and worked and worked and worked, and fixed "non-contracted" problems along the way.
I was really thankful that Bill's crew were all Express employees -- there weren't "strangers" in our house - - everyone he sent there worked under his company, so there was always reliable experts available for all of my questions.
There's so much more I could talk about, like how they fixed other plumbing problems while they were there, and how I made them sit at the island with my kids and have lunch... but the most amazing thing I want to pass on is the END RESULT. I cannot believe how amazing our kitchen is. I have people tell me EVERY TIME THEY COME OVER that my kitchen looks like a model kitchen, and that it should be featured in magazines. It is exactly what I wanted and more. It is so insanely functional, I can have a kid doing dishes while I cook and my husband helps with homework at the island. I couldn't have come up with this amazing design on my own and the details are PERFECT for our family. From the double ovens, prep sink, homework organizer, hidden microwave, beautifully matched hardwood floors - - everything here is amazing. I can't wait to show you the pictures! Ha!
As far as details like cleanliness and completion time - all was great. I mean, there was constant drywall dust everywhere, but we remodeled all the main rooms at once - so that was unavoidable. They vacuumed, dusted, and were always careful about cleaning up their tools and debris all along the way, as I had 3 small boys constantly trying to see what was going on.  We were given a 6 week estimate and they stuck tightly to that timeframe - - in fact, our kitchen was "useable" much sooner than that... thank goodness!
So... to make a short story long - I would highly recommend Express. In fact, it's been 2 years, and we just signed another contract to put a master bath in our bedroom - and we didn't even get other quotes this time. We were THAT happy with the outcome of our kitchen. We feel like Bill and his crew will do a great job, won't cheat us or cut corners, and provide a quality room that will be enjoyed for years to come!

The service went very well. One technician came out for the job and completed the service within the 3 hour time frame. He was a very a efficient and quick worker. He worked on several spots in the kitchen, hallway and upstairs. He also primed the drywall. He did a nice job on the repairs and I had no problem scheduling the deal.

The gutters were done well by Ken the day before interior painting took place. They came 30 minutes early the day they started interior painting; we would have preferred that they had come on time instead. The half bath needed extensive patching and painting; Ken did a good job considering what needed to be done here, but things could have been better. The rest of the painting work was adequate. We were disappointed with a few things. Two large cracks that were repaired and painted over are still noticeable. Ken went over them a second time but they still are distinguishable; I told Walter before giving him the job that I did not want to see these cracks after they had finished their work. He said they would not be visible at that time. The other problem was with cleanup - not a good job at all. They left tape on woodwork in some areas that had been dry for awhile. There were many paint splatters on the woodwork and doors and floors in the house that we had to clean up after they left. They vacuumed up in only half the areas they worked in. They also left an open can of paint that was about a 1/5th full on an uncovered nightstand in our bedroom with a paint brush in it. On some of the light on/off switch covers they removed they lost screws so instead of two screws holding a cover in place there is only one. I had painting contractors do work for me about fifteen years ago and remember that they did a much better job of cleaning up after themselves and putting things back together. Cannot recommend.

Every year we host my parents for the Holiday Season and wanted to spruce up the whole upper floor with a look. We knew this might be accomplished by a good and creative paint job-and obviously a wonderful painter. Well, Gill is just that-quick and free estimate. The price worked perfectly and the house looks FANTASTIC! My sister-who is an HGTV and DIY junkie-is having Gil do her basement and exterior in the Spring. Peralta Painting is a great find!

John was very friendly and helpful .  Very neat when painting and in the clean up.  Honest about what he was willing to do, outside of painting. Had asked him about installing closet doors, and he preferred not to take that job.
Arrived on time, ready to tackle the job at hand.   THANK YOU John!
