    What was originally sent and got the run around from Motorwerks:

     A few days ago I had a light bulb go out and went to get it fixed.  They said the rear springs and the ball joints issues just like you had told me.  The problem is when the light wasn't an issue, but they had to replace the complete lighting unit and found the problem.  Attached are pictures of what you called a little oil.  I was informed it had covered the engine almost completely on the passenger side.  As you can see the oil is just caked on there and dripping.  So either when I had my oil change done they spilled a lot of oil or something is spraying oil out.
    Next issue, is that I had my check engine light on, and found out what is was.  The mechanic said it is the light due to air flow.  It has to be reset after you check the air filters.   You told me air filters were fine and they were checked.  If so then how come they haven't been opened and reset?
    So I have filters not checked and oil either leaking or spilled in my car.   The mechanics wont be done with my car until tomorrow, but I want a time to have this engine checked by someone who can fix diesels.   I have a warranty  I purchased with the vehicle and I want this fixed right.
    I came to the dealership to get a good used car with no hassle and it seems I should of had an independent check your work.  It didn't even come with 4 of the same tires, but these issues were the last straw.  This is unacceptable, and I want this fixed as soon as possible.

    They replace the oil leak parts ($1300 not under warranty), and the air hose($700 dollar air hose) so the engine light will go out.  I go home park the car after all of this and the next day the light comes back on.  I take it back to the dealership and they say we didn't look at the light and that was the other dealership.  I then ask then why did you replace the 700 dollar air hose and get nothing. I had to scream in the dealership to get a manager who just placated me.

    Finally:
    I ask for my money back because they can't be trusted. Final email says we made mistakes and offered me a car wash (WORTH 250 dollars they say).

    I know enough to know I was being lied to.  I fear for all the people out there that don't have any automotive knowledge, and how many times have the replaced parts and charge people.  This is sick and needs to be fixed.

    Let me start by saying I have previously found the car buying process to be excruciatingly painful and far too time consuming. For that reason I dreaded the need to purchase a car for my teenage sons. That being said my experience with Midway Auto Haus has gone a long way to change my perception. i determined to do as much of the car buying process online with the thought that I could avoid much of the games that I was subjected to in all of my past experiences. My sons had agreed on a Chevy Cruze and I had determined a budget so we searched every car buying site available to maximize our options. We went as far as 50+ miles away from home and selected 6 different cars/dealerships. I sent out email inquiries on all of the cars and then the games began. Some wouldn't talk further without a visit, some tried bait and switch to sell a new car, some had Black Friday special pricing, some tried constant phone and email contact, and so on. The notable exception to this was Midway Auto Haus. They responded respectfully and informatively to our inquiries through chat and phone, didn't use any pressure, remembered our needs and issues, and were transparent in their pricing strategy which enabled us to get a newer vehicle with more features and less mileage within the budget allocated. When we arrived there were no unpleasant surprises, both my son and I were treated with courteous attentiveness, there was extra advice and information for my new driver, a minor issue was effectively and immediately addressed, and we were out of the door with car, plates and sticker, and even provided with directions for a shortcut home all in little over an hour. This was a whole new car buying experience for me, thanks to Midway Auto Haus. The GM Greg Ciszek has assembled an impressive group of trained and personable professionals who are knowledgeable as well as customer service oriented. Their follow up has been exemplary and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a used car. I am seriously considering them and a used vehicle for myself next year, and that would be a first for me since I have previously purchased new! Thank you Midway Auto Haus for making my car buying experience quick and hassle free. BTW I have not been paid, pressured or promised anything as a result of this review, just wanting to share my positive experiences and perhaps help others in a car buying quandary!

    I usually buy my Lexus' out in the "burbs," but this last Lexus I bought in the city because they had what I wanted.They were not up to the normal Lexus. I know what I am saying because I have driven Lexus' for the last 20 years. In comparison to most Lexus dealers I did not like them. They did a couple of things I did not like. One of them was I had asked them specifically not to run my credit report because we were paying cash. Every time somebody runs your credit report it knocks you down a couple of points. I mean, there is nothing wrong with my credit report, but why run it when we were paying cash for the car? They tell you these lies that they have to do it because of the Patriot Act and all that. My husband is an attorney and I know that is not right. I signed a bunch of forms that the salesperson gave to me and among them was a form acknowledging that they could run a credit report. I did not realize is signed it. But they had already assured me they would not run the credit report so I don't feel like being lied to. It was just little things, like they told me the tank would be filled with gas. Normally I would not complain about something like that. They lost us as a customer. The price was decent. We had to wait some to get the car.

    The service went great. The sales person was very nice. The rest of the staff I have dealt with have been pleasant to work with. I have had to take the car back a few times because I was not familiar with the 5 speed transmission and the sounds it will make. The minute I called they were able to get me scheduled in for the service. They gave me additional information about the car to help me familiarize myself with it. I believe their pricing was fair for my trade in as well. My only concern is that they do not have courtesy cars and I had to rent a car to use.

    They actually didn't charge to fix the bumper, which I thought was extremely nice. The service was very good. They took me right away. They answered my questions and explained everything to me. I originally was supposed to get a loaner car, but they were able to change my time slot and get me in right. They were done in 30 minutes, which I was very appreciative of because I have two small children. We also bought the car from them. They do not have a full body shop. The price is a little more expensive but it is a more expensive car. They did give me a coupon.

    The sales person was ok. He did comment that his bosses are a bunch of idiots and he was right. We were trying to buy a car. The sales manager came and told us that he cannot come down in price because these prices are his "wholesale prices" . I guess he thinks we are idiots. Then he proceeds to tell us that they got the car a month ago when it clearly states on the carfax that they purchased the car in October. This is an example of a complete unprofessional operation. On top of that there was a couple yelling with a sales person that the price on the contract was not the price they agreed to. Stay away this place it is a joke- we ran out of there as fast as we could.

I demand a fair price and extract blood wherever possible. You need to get them smiling and you need to be smiling too. That way each one gets what each one needs. I go to them for service on both vehicles.

    These people are crooks! They tried to deliver the "CERTIFIED" car with bald tires, no service work performed, a spray can paint job on the bumpers and they then tried to lie and cheat their way out of all the work they did not do. It took Acura getting involved for them to admit anything. In the end, they just kept on lying while I played dumb to their games. These are truly the most unethical people I have ever worked with. THEY WILL NEVER ADMIT ANYTHING UNTIL THEY ARE CAUGHT. When I tried to inform the General Manager, Jeff, about what was going on he wouldn't hear a word of it. He yelled at me that they were going to take care of it. He couldn't care less about the lying of his employees. I guess it really does come from the top. I WOULD NEVER, EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE IF THEY WERE THE LAST DEALERSHIP ON EARTH.
