    Mr Grout
He did a good job. Pleasant, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I did get lower project quotes, however I wasn't confident in the quality of their knowledge and work. Mr. Grout offered a fair price and the ablity to recognize and fix a problem. Recommended.

Ovi, is great. Quick response. Very friendly, helpful. Had him do my kitchen carrara backsplash, came out excellent. He's fast, he's work is detailed, great. Very reasonable. Definitely recommend him for any tile work or for other household work. Looking forward in working with him again!

Everything went wonderfully from the start. Ovi called back right away and arrived for an estimate very soon after we spoke. His price was very competitive and he was able to start the work very soon. Working with Ovi was a pleasure, he is genuine and kind. He finished all of the jobs promptly, and the quality is top notch. Ovi went above and beyond and was extremely helpful, offering advice and helping with other parts of the project, even in areas that were not his responsibility. I will definitely be working with him again!!

Tom Horn Remodeling, Woodworking, & Carpentry
Beautifully. Tom got started precisely as agreed, and worked slightly longer than typical day hours until the project was done. He may have had to "miss" one or two week days, but always packed in more time to keep on track. But he never actually fell "behind" -- he was just very determined to keep things moving at a steady pace, which we greatly appreciated! Tom laid all durock cement board, tiled and grouted a large continuous flooring section that spanned a kitchen, dining room, and sun room using 24x12 tiles. Overall, and through every transition, grout lines came out perfectly straight and consistent. He also tiled a mud room that was relatively straight-forward, but he suggested thinner grout lines to compliment the wood-look tile, and the result was fantastic. Work also included two bathrooms with full shower surrounds. Due to a number of framing and plumbing difficult spots, these were trickier, but Tom handled everything and produced beautiful results. Work also included one difficult transition across a foundation change (from crawl space to slab). After the work was complete, you would never know there was a transition there! Tom also worked very well with other crews that were on hand at the time, and often advised me on issues he thought I might want to be aware of regarding many different areas of the house and work. In the end it was a huge relief to have found someone we could work with and trust to execute in a very high-quality manner, and that we knew would always communicate any time a challenge was encountered or a change was needed. Very refreshing to have that sort of collaborative experience! And very clean -- Tom kept his work areas confined, and when they were done, his cleanup was extremely thorough! I think the final effort was around 1200 square feet plus two shower surrounds, and the work was fully complete in 3 weeks. Final bill was 16% over initial estimate due to unidentified challenges encountered during the course of the work.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Great communication throughout the process with scheduling and planning and the end result is just beautiful. Work was done quickly and efficiently and just when I needed it, too. Ovi is a very friendly guy and clearly an expert at what he does. We will be using him again for some bathrooms.

Village Plumbing & Sewer Service Inc
My wife and I hired Village Plumbing to renovate our bathroom, which we considered one of the worst bathrooms in America. We had used Village Plumbing before for various plumbing issues and were always impressed with their work. We were thrilled to find out they did renovations, as well. Prior to that, wed been wary of some of the other companies/people wed consulted with, worried they would make the bathroom look pretty but not necessarily fix the old, broken-down plumbing which was our biggest concern. Village offered us an affordable price to do the work too, while some companys estimates were astronomical (and offered nothing Village wouldnt do). Village Plumbing exceeded our expectations. We had numerous problems that no one we had spoken to over the years had been able to diagnose or give us a solution to pipes that would freeze any time the temperature dipped near zero despite the pipes seemingly not being within the walls, a freezing cold bathroom for much of the year despite new insulation, etc. Cheryl and Eric, in particular, were extremely thoughtful in their approach. They truly made us feel as though they were tackling our problems just as they would their own, as if we were family. They wisely converted an old laundry chute into a new heating vent which immediately improved the temperature in our bathroom; they moved pipes to the extent necessary, and, as the job was finished in late winter, effectively ended our freezing pipe problem; they identified areas in our ceiling that werent properly insulated and were causing condensation and heat loss. Cheryl was particularly helpful in giving suggestions regarding the design, picking out fixtures, etc. It made it extremely easy on us, as we have two young kids and dreaded having to go store to store to shop for different things. The entire team (which was relatively small), was extremely professional, hard-working, and intelligent. We now have a bathroom that we feel proud to show off (it looks like a luxury hotel bathroom). Most importantly, we feel extremely confident the job was done right and we can finally stop worrying about leaky pipes and other problems. We would absolutely recommend Village Plumbing and 100% plan to use them again to remodel our other bathrooms.

    4Ever Remodeling
We had a great experience with every project. 4Ever remodeling has really transformed our home into a personal palace. They always seemed to finish ahead of the final date. The team ( Martin, Rob, Greg, Tom, Jose, Magda, Ralph, Jack ) that worked on our home were wonderful and very professional. They never left a mess before leaving the projects. Only this one time we had a small issue with my dishwasher leaking after they finished the kitchen, about a week later I discovered the leak, so once I called the office they promptly sent out a handyman within one day. I love to entertain my family now. Their work is exceptional and fairly priced.

    Kucera Construction
Peter-the owner, was very professional. We had a renovation loan with our bank and Peter was able to meet ALL of the requirements, including the insurance and city requirements. We had to get all the permits from the city ( last minute- our fault) and Peter completed all paperwork quickly and had a architect that was able to come and get everything approved by the city near Christmas time. Peter and his team started on time and were complete 2 days before we moved in! The work was well done and any issues were fixed. Peter was able to communicate well, to be sure that we understood how things would be done and what they would look like. We got our kitchen cabinets from IKEA and Peter added wood to the base attaching them to the floor, adding to our safety.- very well thought out. We did have a few issues with our old house, Peter took care of them before I even knew they happened. The only planned item that we did not get was a bathroom closet, we discussed the plan and near our move in date, Peter sent me texts about measurements. I was not able to make a decision based on numbers without seeing it, so I told him not to complete the closet, as I was concerned I would not get was I was thinking of. Kucera Construction was not the cheapest, but had all the insurance we needed for the bank. And Peter was willing to do all the bank paperwork, and move a kitchen. There was a % from the total for contractor fee also. From what I could tell based on the 4 quotes I got, I think his workers get paid more than most also.

    M&L Remodeling & Painting
It went great. Started on time and finished before original plan. During the cutting of the concrete floor it was discovered that the old electrical conduit was under the concrete, which meant it was all rusted and reduced to almost bare wires. All that had to be removed and placed above ground where it should be. Even with this unplanned work, the project was completed before schedule. Matt and his crew always came on time. They did the demolition, then the new framing, electrical, and plumbing. A separate crew came to do the drywall. Then Matt's crew came back to do all the finishing. Matt himself was there every morning checking on the work and setting up the day's schedule for the crew. Price listed below is what Matt charged. It does not include flooring materials, bathroom furnishings, shower tiles and glass. All that was purchased separately according to what we wanted.
