  • Saw another Dr at this practice before, who did a great job.  This Dr left, so went to another Dr at the same practice.   Had 3 cortisone injections in the past that worked great. This shot didn't work at all, and I was billed $900 for a single shot!    Bill included $600 for "radiology", which was simply that the Dr used sonogram so he could see what he was doing and try to get the shot into the right place.   This was obviously a way to pad the bill with extra charges.   I ended up paying over $400 out of pocket after insurance, and got zero - NO relief from the shot.  Will not return to these crooks.

  • He didn't communicate or listen to me very well, the whole experience felt like he was rushing through as many patients as he could in the minimum time possible.  His waiting room was packed, and the receptionist was cold and unhelpful.  His office was tacky and run-down.  The dr. answered my questions vaguely, I felt like he wasn't really paying attention and ignored most of what I was telling him.  the treatment did help the foot feel better, but then I saw later that he billed my insurance $850 for about 10 minutes work. The follow-up visit was about 5 minutes, where he re-taped the foot.  Incredible cost for very basic treatment.

  • My husband had injured his toe while we were on vacation. Another doctor had drilled a hole in the toenail to relieve the pressure, but an infection had developed after we arrived home. He was then placed on oral antibiotics by an ER doctor. Several days later the toe still looked infected and was becoming more and more painful. My husband found Dr. King through our insurance and they saw him the same day. He looked at the toe for several seconds and told him the toenail had to be removed. Dr. King gave my husband several shots of lidocaine and waited about 3 minutes and pulled off the toenail. My husband was screaming in pain while I was sitting there watching helplessly. He put gauze on it and told us to remove it in 24 hours. We could not remove the gauze because it was so blood soaked and it had dried and adhered to the wound. We soaked the toe and the gauze bandage, and we still could not remove it. We paged Dr. King and he never returned our phone calls. We went to urgent care and after they soaked it in hydrogen peroxide and water and several shots of Lidocaine (which we were told takes at least 10-15 minutes to work). The urgent care doctor, Dr. Das (He's wonderful and caring!), removed the adhered gauze. The nurse Heather (who was also outstanding!) instructed us to use vasoline gauze and antibiotic ointment to keep the bandage from sticking. Dr. King is horrible! I wouldn't let my dog go to him!

  • I thought he was one of the worst doctors I had ever visited. I think he is purely into for the money and has no issues with do thing just to bill insurance. My toe was not infected. It is still attached to my foot today (2 months later.)
