    A To Z Lawncare & Landscaping
The people did an excellent job for a reasonable price. They cleaned up my yard & the neighbors drive that had sawdust on it. They also planted a new maple tree for me to replace the one I lost on the other side of my front yard. They filled in the hole where the tree had been with dirt and  covered it with grass seed. You see this company working at other businesses and private homes all over town and they were recommended to me by a city worker. Now I understand why. Great company and people to work with.

    Trees, Lawns and More
Shane and his crew did an amazing job taking down my tree. It was a very large tree and was just a couple feet from a privacy fence which I was afraid would cause a problem for them. They also had to navigate around a pool, a deck and the house and managed to bring the whole thing down without touching any of it. I was very impressed with the job they did, how well they cleaned up after and the price they charged for the job. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to anyone.

    Plue's Tree Service

Tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, and all clean-up went very well indeed. Crew of three used regular and telescoping- handle chain saws from the ground and from a bucket truck, no climbing. It took only 20 minutes to bring down the blue spruce; they then spent two hours trimming the Norway maple. Both the owner (Mr. Nicky Plue) and the tree trimmer (his brother Chris) refused to "top" the tree, by which I meant shape from the outside and cut off the unwanted growth caused by the prior "topping" of the tree 10 years before. Only exception was to make sure the power/phone/cable lines on one edge were well clear. They were very careful maneuvering the bucket truck, placing plywood beneath the wheels to spread out the weight over the soft-ish ground. In cleaning up, besides removing and chipping all the trimmed branches, they raked most of the yard clear of bark and sawdust (and everything else there), blew off the driveway and street, and picked all that up, as well. They even allowed me to bring out for chipping some old branches I had stored in the side yard. The only issue I had dealt more with the weather than with Plue's Tree Service & Landscaping: having been advised that it's optimal to trim trees in winter, I had originally called in mid-February and arranged for the job, when the ground was still frozen, though a bit snowy.  It took until mid-March for the job to actually get done, by which time we had had a couple of thaws. Can't blame them for not wanting to trim trees in 10-degree weather or 30-mile-per-hour winds, but what good is advice about timing if it can't reasonably be followed? I would definitely call Plue's again for all my tree-related needs!

    Spring-Green Lawn Care
I love this company.  They give you a call the night before they are going to come out to make sure it is ok to apply the next day.  They are punctual.  They are out there the morning they say they will be.  My yard looks much better from last year to this year.  I have had no Creeping Charlie this year which is usually bad in two spots in the yard.
The Silberer's are just nice people.  They strive to keep their customers happy.  The service is personal.  I honestly wouldn't change a thing!

    Lee's Tree Service
Have used Lee's Tree Service several times in the past. They are always prompt to respond with a quote and service. Removed all the trees, cleaned up afterwards and never left ruts in the yard. Great job!

    GSA TURF SVC
GSA provided an estimate for installation of an irrigation system. We had also received another estimate that was higher.  This is most likely due to the fact that GSA had the equipment to pull the PVC piping underground, reducing the time typically involved in trenching.  They completed most of the work in the fall, which gave the lawn several months to settle.  The following spring, GSA installed the controller.  We chose to use a controller which was tied to a weather satellite (for an additional fee)   After using this controller for several years, we have decided to replace this controller with one we can program as we choose, as it was watering during the drought almost every day - not an ideal way to irrigate.   GSA has taken care of our start up in the spring and winterizing in the fall.   They have been prompt in responding to my calls or emails when any problems arise.

    River Bottom Tree Services
He does an excellent job. My trees are large; if they can't use their bucket truck, they have to climb up and top them. It is so dangerous and much harder to do. My trees are kind of atypical, because for most of them, they get the bucket truck and go do it. He climbs and he is one of the few that does that. Most tree services, if they can't do it with the bucket truck, they won't do it. He is like a mountain man, he just straps himself in and climbs up with his chainsaw hanging off and starts cutting away. He is one of the few if not the only one that does that. I think that he is the only one in our county that will do that. He is the one I call.

    BLS
Bousek came back in a timely fashion with a quote but was suppose to start the work in May. Weather prevented the work for most of May and into part of June. At the beginning of July, we started contacting Bousek asking for a date of work to be started and completed. Mind you, we had cleaned up all the old mulch and removed patio furniture in anticipation of the work being started. We spent July and August calling weekly to find out when the work would be completed (Bousek asked for a 50% downpayment for materials in the April initial meeting). We were continually pushed into the "next week". Finally, in September, we simply asked for our deposit back and that we would hire someone else to do the work. Bousek said he still wanted the work, our response was No, please just return the deposit. This continued weekly. October of 2010, we went to talk to a lawyer about small claims court. In November, we filed a small claims court case. The night before our court date, Bousek called and wanted us to drop the case if he went to the ATM and brought us the cash. Obviously, if he had the cash, he would've returned the deposit!! The court filed in our favor and we are still pursuing Bousek for recovery of our deposit and ALL court costs. In speaking with 2 acquaintances on our court battles, we have found out that 2 other families have also given a deposit and no work has been performed nor have the monies been returned. If we only would've know....... We are still trying to serve the papers to discover assets so we can at least have our money returned - he continues to move and avoid us and the justice system to own up to what has happened.

    Jose's Tree Service
Excellent service, there were at least 5 fellows working, it was all very organized with each man knowing his job. Some cut branches, one was in the neighbor's yard, others worked on the clearing of branches while another worked the shredder. Job took only two hours.
