    The Scottish Plumber
Work was completed. Took a day longer than planned due to a missing part. Didn't completely alleviate the back flow problem. Need to flush the pipe regularly with a bath tub full of water. They had put in a clean out prior for the purpose of further diagnosing the problem... They told me everything was good, until I started getting back flow problems again. I had to remind them of the original diagnosis of bellied pipe thus the new replacement. We'll see what happens once I tell them about the back flow issues again. Clean out $6000, bellied pipe $2500.

Slow start, they had to re-camera to find it after several hours of digging. I guess they "had" to bend my waterline to put in the vertical pipe. No issues, it just seemed unnecessary. Other than the work going over a week due to Thanksgiving, and some miss communication as to when the hydro-jetting was done everything is fine. I'm left with a mountd of dirt that is supposed to go down within a year... Hmmm, curb appeal.

    Freedom Heating & Cooling
From my first call with the owner, Pete, a couple of months ago regarding a possible need for a hot water tank replacement, I immediately knew Freedom would be my 'go to' company when I had no choice. No pressure to convince me to replace my noisy tank immediately. Rather than that, I was advised to purchase a water sensor to forewarn me when a leak started. Who does that? Only a reputable business man. Thursday night, that darn leak started. Left a message with a service center requesting a 'first thing' Friday need for someone to come out and Friday AM, Pete was at my home to drain the tank with install scheduled for later that day. Great team came out for the install, even offering to help move things out of the way & put back in place. Freedom will be my first & only call moving forward. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fair price & great customer service

    The Scottish Plumber
They said they were sending a guy with a camera because my sewer went over in basement. The guy came out rodded line and said it will be $100 then he tells me the guy with the camera will be here in an hour and his machine doesn't reach all the way out to the street. I asked him why he rodded the line if he new his machine wouldn't reach? He got all mad and said I have to talk to the owner and then he carried his heavy machine up my basement stairs banging it against my steps causing damage. Cost $700 to rodd out my sewer. I talked to boss looked at me stupid and said nothing . Then they have the nerve to send me coupons like that's going to make up for overcharging for rodding my sewer. Their Rip offs!

    THE FAIR PLUMBER
The work was supposed to take 2-3 hours, and wound up taking more like 4 1/2 as there was extra work to be done on the pipes leading up to the tank. The two men who were working were very nice and put down covers to protect the floor and area they were working in. They also cleaned up when they were completed (they mopped the floor!). The problem arose when they left and I was putting items back, and noticed that they had climbed on my chest freezer to install the power vent. The lid was caved in, and the one corner would not close at all, so naturally I was pretty upset. I also discovered that they just left the hot water tank on the front lawn, which is not permitted in my town. I called Ron who asked me to send pictures and after he looked at them he would call me back. After a few minutes, he called me back and told me that he would have someone come out tomorrow morning to measure and replace the freezer. Oddly he sent the same guys out that had damaged the freezer, but they made it right, and helped set up the new one (they even helped move the food, and clean up between freezer moving), and then took the damaged freezer and the old tank with them. Since they made it right so quickly and Ron told me that they would be educated on this matter, I don't mind calling them again. Both he and his team had the technical knowledge, skill and fair pricing, as well as prompt service both times they had to come over.

Chris Booker Plumbing Repipes & Dryer Vents
Fantastic! Chris and Kyle showed up when they said they would. They were efficient, cleaned up after themselves and completed the work when they said it would be done. No hidden costs. There were a couple of things we added to the job after they started but we were told up front what it would cost and the cost was appropriate. They were a pleasure to have in my home. I wish all contractors were as easy and pleasant to work with.

    The Scottish Plumber
Joe called an hour early and said he had a cancellation and asked if could he come right away.  He was almost an hour early and was putting on his shoe covers when I got to the door.  I pointed to the water damage behind my refrigerator and he said he had to look at the plumbing first.  We then went to the one bathroom where the after-market bidet was leaking-husband put it in.  He found where it was leaking and was able to fix it on the spot.  The other toilet was running for about 3 seconds and then shutting off.  I have to replace the whole toilet and he gave the reasons why, so he'll put that in when I get the new one,  Then to the basement and he said that the after-market drinking water filter-put in by my husband and a friend-was not installed properly and showed me why and gave me a price for fixing that.  Then, we got to the water leak from the fridge.  He said he couldn't fix that but if it is under warranty that should cover the repair.  He also recommended a company to fix the floor and said that my homeowner's should cover that.  Since he's been right every other time I'm very happy to follow his suggestions.  Joe is a dependable, honest, excellent plumber and I would recommend Scottish Plumber to anyone who had any plumbing needs.
