    Sit Means Sit Dog Training
While our dog will never be a friendly dog to those coming into the house, their behavior management techniques and their electronic collar allows people to enter our house without incident. Walks have become pleasurable again and our dog's confidence has increased.

From the first contact I was very comfortable with the facility and staff. The kennel was very clean and did not smell like a kennel. My dogs went in for an "interview" and play date to be sure they would get along befoe commiting. The Web-Cams in the play areas wre a special treat.

    ANYTHING IS PAWZiBLE
I have had the opportunity to take a couple of fosters to training at Anything is Pawsible. We have had the pleasure of working with two of the trainers now and both were wonderful, professional, compassionate, and patient.
Having taken dogs to training classes at other places in Chicago I absolutely love the way the training classes are run and the philosophy behind their training methods. What is especially great is how they explain the ways in which we communicate with our dogs and the cause and effect of how our directions, actions, and reactions either hinder or help get the desired response from our pets. Basically they are not only great with dogs, but they are wonderful with people as well.
They also send home written out instructions or and quot;homeworkand quot; which is especially helpful and serves as a reminder of the things we learned in class not only providing instructions on what to do but how and why we do it. They even emailed the homework, let you attend a makeup class and/or spend a few minutes with you before or after if you have to miss a class.
Finally, I think the most important thing, is how safe and welcoming the environment is. The trainers make sure the dogs have space. Additionally they teach the humans to watch for behavior that could be intimidating to other dogs (e.g. hard stares) so that all the dogs feel comfortable and can focus on working with their humans and ignore their canine counterparts.

    COLLINS CANINE
Lisa not only provides the time and space for puppy parties, she is also very generous with her time to answer questions about training and care. She gave me a referral for agility training we have yet to try. The only reason I didn't use her training program was the distance factor. I found a great program closer to home.

    COLLINS CANINE
Lisa is fantastic from A to Z.  She's highly responsive, and extremely flexible.  We felt like we needed a one-on-one trainer because we wanted to begin training right away (before we developed any bad habits with our new puppy) and worried that our kids wouldn't be able to handle a normal training course.  Lisa has young children herself, so she was very helpful in adjusting her suggestions to their needs.  It really helped us to be able to bring our specific questions to someone knowledgeable, and to have her demonstrate the solutions.  She was also responsive via email when we had questions during a week when we weren't getting together.  To top it all off, Lisa sent an mp3 of the session so that we could review it later if we forgot something.  I couldn't recommend her highly enough!

    COLLINS CANINE
I'm afraid I don't have time to go into the whole story start to finish -- suffice it to say that I have a rambunctious Lab puppy who is smart and eager to learn but was developing some bad habits (barking, pulling on leash, jumping up, etc). One by one, Lisa has addressed these issues and, more importantly, taught me how to provide ongoing training.

    Chicago Canine Academy
Jim is great with dogs and offers tons of options from private sessions to group sessions to boarding your dog and he will train them. Offers obedience, agility and protection. Really knows dogs, especially those with issues. Our dogs were completely trained by the time we were done working with Jim.

    DOG OBEDIENCE GROUP
The classes were absolutely terrific. Wendy teaches the puppy class and Dennis teaches the adult class. They are both wonderfully patient and knowledgeable trainers who use only positive training methods. They clearly have the best interests of the dog and the dog-person relationship in mind. They work hard to help people handle all sorts of dogs. We gained many useful training skills in both classes, as well as information about resources, tools, and where to go for additional help.

    COLLINS CANINE
Lisa's strong teaching skills, and her exceptional people skills along with her deep understanding and love of dogs is an incredible combination. Her classes are well-organized, and she structures her sessions by understanding what pet parents want to get out of the class, teaching you and your dog together, finishing every class with Q&A/problem solving, giving homework sheets so you continue your learning throughout the week. As a new pet owner, I also found Lisa to be incredibly open and willing to talk through any issues or concerns I had about Bailey. Lisa's a natural teacher and communicator and always made sure no one left with a lingering question at the end of a class. I also found her to be very willing to answer a questions over email. I always felt I had a great resource and got so much value from the classes I signed up for. I recently added another dog, Molly, to our family, and I'm looking forward to training her with Lisa as well!

    THAT'S MY DOG!
Overall, things went extremely well. They draw upon the Cesar Millan philosophy and like him, devote themselves to the well being of the dog both psychologically and physically. We received updates regularly on her progress and they were always reachable by phone or e-mail. I was impressed by their professionalism and expectations that all who participate in classroom training, both trainers and dog owners alike, create a positive and safe environment in which the dogs can learn and be successful. We had given them specific problems such as lunging at cars, not coming when off the leash, etc. and when we arrived to take her home it was obvious that they had thought through what training would best carry over to our home environment. She was clean, had put on some needed weight, and looked confident, happier, and calmer. Robin even recommended a pet food which is higher in nutrients and decreases shedding! Their service will include followup and home visits to continue the work begun.
