Terrible Didn't have any work done because this Dr. cancelled my appt TWICE. The first time, his secretary called me to tell me he wasn't coming in and I was within 2 minutes from the office. It took me over an hr to drive there, plus I had to have someone drive me and they came from Lake Villa. The soonest I could get another appt was a month away. I rescheduled because he is the only spine Dr at this location. I received a letter from the office 1 week prior to my appt saying I need to reschedule AGAIN, and when I asked why I was told that he was going on vacation. He didn't know he was going on vacation from the first time he cancelled? This is my spine and I need to know my results from my MRI and what are the next steps now I have to wait another month? Which would be 3 months...this is totally unacceptable. He was referred by my Dr. and I don't care who I have to see or where I have to go but there is now way in **** I will be seen by this so called "specialist" if he cannot even see his patients. Just remember one thing DOC, those patients made you who you are today, and will also break you too.....

I see John Porcelli, MD twice per year for a check on my asthma and once per year for pulmonary function tests & refill of medications.
As usual Doctor Porcelli,  and the whole staff at Advocate Good Sam Hospital are wonderful. The staff is prompt, friendly, compassionate & professional and gives you feedback the day of your tests. They administered the tests very professionally (explaining everything about the test and why they perform them) & the equipment they use is spotless. They make you as a patient feel very relaxed so you are able to complete these tests & ( in a non rushed environment) and know you are getting a true reading of your breathing function.  After the tests they explain what all the results mean and discuss your medications & write refills for you as necessary. They also review your asthma action plan and if need be change it accordingly. Advocate Good Sam hospital is a very caring, well staffed, professional and well run establishment. I have always been impressed with their level of service & that is not easy to do with me.  I work in health care & am a little pickier than most!

great. only problem is billing done by Elmhurst memorial. billing is almost always incorrect. I have two insurance companies and Elmhurst memorial always tries to say I owe the amount that is largest after payment - even though they are paid by both and doesn't matter which is primary. if this doctor became independent I would be very happy.

I wish the doctors from this clinic transferred somewhere else. The doctors and nurses are great but the management of the clinic has a lot to desire. Especially since they merged with Elmhurst Memorial hospital.
My pharmacy asked for refill on my medication 2 weeks ago and never heard back. I called in 4 days ago and asked for a refill and also have not heard back. I tried to go to their new patient portal to refill it that way and my medications are not even there. I send a note yesterday using the system and have not heard back. I called again today and had to wait 30min for anyone to pick up the phone. After that they only said they transitioned to the new system to the pharmacy did not send a request to the right place. What about all the requests that I made directly to them? I completely out of my antibiotic that I take daily. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE. Find a different clinic when in Elmhurst.

Their staff consists of 5 OB/GYN physicians and 3 midwives. Their office caters to the complete well-being of women which includes cosmetic services, childbirth education, lactation counseling, and psychiatric care. They even have free childcare available during certain office hours. Dr. Cardone was personable and experienced. Since she is very well-liked, it took me a little longer to get in to see her.

I just cannot say enough about her skills in doing the reconstruction of my breast. She did a good job and I am happy to recommend other women to her because it's like fake breast looked so real. She was very careful to find out what I was comfortable. She told me my options; she told me the pros and cons of each options. She wanted to know what I wanted; what size I wanted to be and what kind of results I was looking for. She measured very carefully and with such a great job the fake breast was very real. When I went to my family doctor, she could not remember which breast was fake. I recommend her. She does all kinds of plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures but her sub specialty is doing the kind of reconstruction that she did for me. I just can't say enough good things about her.

She is hard to get in to see, the office is very busy, they're not open on Saturdays and they have a couple of evenings with longer hours but they're appointment schedule fills up really quickly so it probably takes about 3 weeks to get in to see her.

Dr. SEGALENE and her staff are great. I've been a regular there for about 10 years through many seasons. They've always been friendly, responsive, and quick to answer questions on the phone. And I've never had trouble getting an appointment when there was a flare up and I needed to see someone right away.
I've been going there regularly so long the staff know me and my kids by name. If you are going to get allergy shots you will be spending a lot of time in the office so it is good if the staff are personable.
Over the years they have been also good about education, so I have become less apt to call because I've learned to manage my symptoms on my own.

Dr. Katzavitz graduated 1988 and did her residency at Michael Reese medical center. She has been in practice since 1991.
If you we're to list all the qualities your dr should have, you would have just profiled the doctor. She is 90 percentile empathy and 10 percentile sympathy. Dr .Katzavitz takes great pride in feeding all the info into her laptop making sure all your questions are addressed.
At the end of your appointment, she re-caps all that you did in the visit, lists any new instructions,
And checks out your current prescriptions. All in all the print out is wonderful because I won't forget something she told me!
Her office fees are no higher than her competition.

Dr. Manning was a no show. They didn't try to reschedule with me, simply presumptive substituted his nurse practitioner. How am I supposed to evaluate a surgeon who doesn't meet with me?
They lost the x-rays that had been sent over by my general practitioner.
The patient services check-in seemed to be confused. Acted like they had no idea why I was there. Called me by the wrong name.
I think they recruited their staff from the DMV. They have a holier-than-thou attitude. After all, you're lucky they gave you an appointment at all.
