Maks Maintenance and General Construction Inc.
We had a wonderful experience using Mak Construction to finish our basement. Dominik was a fantastic project manager. He kept me in the loop throughout the entire process and included me in every decision. He's very professional and extremely skilled in his craft. Dominik's crew was also wonderful to work with. They were always timely, respectful and the quality of work is impeccable. I look forward to using Dominik for all future projects!

    JACOBS OVERHEAD DOOR
I called and talked to the owner, Luke Jacobs, in the morning. As promised, Chance came in the early afternoon and was able to make adjustments during a one hour service call. Now the door works perfectly well. I told him he was a miracle worker!

    Great American Exteriors Inc
We're very happy with the results of this project. The results are great! Our 78-year-old home looks so fresh and updated, and all of our windows and front door operate properly. Sam's help with design and color choices really helped us get the updated look, Sebastian and his crew got our windows and door in in no time at all, and Tony and his crew did an incredible job on the siding, porch and bay window (Tony even made a custom attic vent cover!). The time and effort they all took making sure everything was right is what made the project easier to get through and made us really proud of our house. We've received lots of compliments from friends and neighbors. We would recommend Great American in a heartbeat.

    Silver Hammer Construction
The bedroom was covered with old pine board paneling which needed to be removed and replaced with new drywall. A closet and some new electrical outlets were added as well. I was especially impressed with Robert's attention to detail, ensuring that that the finished product met with both his and my expectations. He takes pride in his work.

the windows leaked in spring i got mold in the walls. wen i stoped in a man at the counter said maybe it is the roof or other reasons. he made lots of excuses and never offered to come out. finaly john tobin said he will take a look. he said he will bring a camera and a calk gun? three calls later three no show! . i called the manufacturer they sent out a guy who made more excuses and said there was some questionable calk on the stone sills. I had a masonry restoration co, come out they removed the sills and found that the window installer tore out a section of the wall flashing. also did not use a flashing under the window. the windows leak at the snap in mullions . the water leaked into my walls no one will do any thing. i had to pull out walls in 2 rooms clean, kill the mold and repair my house i also had to calk the windows at the mullions to stop the leak it is ment to be calked there an considering i paid 3000$ for new windows they look bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Silver Hammer Construction
No one wanted to touch this project, either because they'd rather do full shower jobs or didn't want to risk the liability of breaking the door. Robert at Silver Hammer was willing to take the job. With Warren, they took down the door and adjacent glass shower wall, replaced the tile, added a header in the attic, and securely anchored the door. Throughout their attention to detail was great. For instance, they ensured no metal ever touched the ceramic tile. All screws and brackets were buffered with a gasket or plastic shim to prevent future cracking (this hadn't been done previously). After using silicon to re-attach the shower, they returned for clean up, all is great, and, most importantly, my wife and I are safe. They also fixed some grout holes in the shower floor and graciously re-did that work when the pre-mix grout I gave them did not set and washed out (my fault and I won't buy pre-mix again).

    CCCM Inc
Hire them. I felt very safe. They are ethical and scrupulous. I was supported by genuine care, I knew Jody would have a challenge because nothing is straight in this house. Jody gutted my 1960 bathroom on 6/27/16 and then put in a beautiful new one. His design included a nice new linen closet with truly sliding doors. This I know, was difficult because nothing is straight. It was difficult when the first doors were set in years ago and they never worked well. The grout lines are all nicely straight and even. I had selected a tile that turned out to be backordered and went to the tile store and picked out something else. I don't know where my head was but Terry went and saw it and gave me a gentle shove back to make a different selection saving me from having to look at my mistake for years to come. The kitchen was started on 8/16/16. It too was a 1960 gut job. Knowing that I wanted the wall between the kitchen and dining room-living room area Jody designed a beautiful kitchen with a nice new island. During the whole experience I didn't get the expected dust cloud since they used a huge Hepa air filter machine. Stairs leading to the bathroom were covered with strong protective building paper. The landings were covered with large interlocking rubber tiles. Drop cloths were used all of the time. Plastic was fastened to the ceiling with a zippered door to keep the dust in that area. CCCM was the twelfth company I interviewed. Within the first 20 minutes I knew I'd finally found who I was looking for.

    ZEBRA REMODELING INC
This contractor was recommended to us by our good friends. They told us if you want to get guess work out of contracting work, use this guy. He is a perfectionist. He did our bathroom and I was so happy with his work we ended up calling him for a kitchen remodeling as well. He delivered and passed our expectations twice. Highly recommended

10/16/2016: UPDATE for 6/24/2016 Review! My June review was more like a progress report. Now that the project is complete, I wanted to note that Peter and his team did a great job and we are very pleased with the final outcome! We have thought of a few more projects for them in our future as well. 10/16/2016: UPDATE for 6/24/2016 Review - Work Summary Our project included a full demo and rebuild for most of the back of our house. Interior and exterior work was done to create a new kitchen, mudroom and flat roof space for a rooftop deck. We also needed new shingles on a peak roof, a bay window converted to a 12 ft sliding door and multiple doors installed. In addition, an open floor plan was achieved in the kitchen area by removing a brick wall and installing a 16 ft steel beam between the original house and the room addition.

    Budget Right Handyman
I was looking for somebody that had specific experience hanging doors as I know it can be tricky to do correctly.  When I called, they indicated they had experience at this and we scheduled the appointment.  Steve Stephenson arrived for the work promptly on the day it was scheduled.  He was super friendly and went above and beyond to make sure everything was done correctly.  He worked efficiently which was important since they charged by the hour.  He also did excellent work.  Both of my doors are back in operation and working better than before.  I would highly recommend Budget Right Handyman and Steve for any work like this.
