Selvin's Landscaping & Hardscape Services Inc
Selvin is very professional in his workmanship. What I appreciate is that Selvin, the owner, actively participated in the paving. He came later that night as well to cover the newly paved sidewalk to protect it from the elements.

    Tmw Enterprises Paving & Maintenance
It went well, considering the rain-filled Fall weather (we delayed one week), and TMW was able to complete before the cold weather set in. The garden area South end of patio was torn up quite a bit, but that is how it goes as to wheel in the concrete. Concrete splattered on garage siding, so I needed to scrub-down siding to remove splash. (Some plastic sheeting tacked-up before the pour & trowel might have prevented this other work) .

They knocked into one of my overhead powerlines stretching it out. There are a few spots that we notice that the brushing looks different, but overall it looks very nice. They cleaned up the yard pretty well. They were very receptive to questions and were eager to please.

However, because they did not wait for the back patio to dry completely before applying the seal, they totally ruined the ledgestone caps, which were just installed a year before. This is their own assessment. When I first contacted the owner, Grant Bohanan, Grant told me that he could take off the seal by applying other chemicals. When Grant finally came back to do the repair in June 2017, he realized that the chemical did not work as well as he had anticipated. Without first consulting with us, he then sanded down the surface of the stone caps, a practice made the matter even worse. At that point, I realized that he had no idea on what he was doing... At the end, he agreed that it is all his fault and the only way to fix it is to replace the ledgestone caps. He also stated that he was willing to reimburse us for the cost of fixing the patio. We contacted the company that built the patio and provided an itemized fee quote to Grant in July but have not heard from him ever since. The cost of fixing the patio was $1,110. I have all the pictures that show the damage to our patio.

    J&P Masonry Restoration & Tuckpointing.
Work was performed as scheduled, efficiently. A minor flaw in work performed by crew was immediately corrected at no additional expense once contractor himself was notified. Workmen were courteous, even enjoyable, hardworking and painstaking in their efforts to complete project. We were highly satisfied.

    Walsh Sealcoating & Snow Removal
Patrick and his crew arrived promptly on the day scheduled, and were very considerate. They filled those cracks we were concerned about, and then applied the sealcoating carefully--not a splatter on the side of our stucco house! I will definitely use them again.

    Tmw Enterprises Paving & Maintenance
Our house was built in the 1950's with an attached garage.  TMW removed the stair and old garage floor.  TMW did great job replacing the garage floor in an older home with all the settling and "unsquare" angles.  They worked hard to make the new garage floor meet our paving brick driveway.
Very polite, professional and timely.  Plus, they left a spotless worksite!  Except for the nice looking garage floor, you can't tell that any work was done.
    Overall, a very good job.

    Affordable Tuckpointing Pros LLC
We were scheduled for Monday, but they could not begin due to the weather.  It cleared up in the afternoon so I got a call from Gina asking if they could put of the scaffolding so they could begin right away the next day.  That was great.  They were to begin at 8 but were here at 7:30 and so they started early.  They were both very polite and neat.  Everything was all cleaned up at the end of the day.  For a job that could have been very messy and intrusive, it was pretty painless.

We were having a little water in our basement and we didn't know where it was coming from, so we purchased a Big Deal inspection from Angie's List.  Grant came out and looked at our basement, finally uncovering an old bricked in window that was hidden behind a finished wall.  This window was the source of our water.  He was very thorough in his inspection and didn't pressure us at all.  Once he found the problem, he suggested a solution and then sent us a quote.  We agreed to go ahead with the project once the ground thawed enough to dig outside.  I thought the price was reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done.  This price included a discount of $250 that was part of our Big Deal.  It included removing an old window, breaking up the concrete that was covering the window well outside, removing the old bricks as well as the window well.  In addition he installed new concrete block with a waterproof membrane outside and a sealant inside that would further hinder water from getting through.  We both agreed that it would be better to not replace the concrete that was removed and instead fill the hole with dirt, which was provided for us.  Grant was great to work with.  He was easy to reach on the phone the whole time.  He had respect for our home, even as he completed a very messy project.  He did his best to contain the mess and even mopped the floor before he left.  I appreciated the fact that he was very understanding of our concerns, even though we had a relatively small water problem. I would hire him again, but he did such a great job that I don't think we will need him!

    North Shore Aggregate
Work began promptly on the promised date and proceeded according to the planned schedule. The work was completed on-time, finishing the project within 4 days of the start. The patio and driveway look very good. I plan to use North Shore Aggregate for future work.
