They diagnosed it and determined I needed a spark plug replaced, but since the mileage on the car was high and still using original plugs, they recommended replacing all plugs and ignition coil. I agreed. Car runs great. This group of professionals are extremely honest and knowledgeable. I have recommended them to family and friends, some who have used them and are completely happy with work performed.

There always is a cost and they're not cheap.  I got to know the manager.  He's a very friendly guy and I always take my dog with me and he got to love my dog, so I get very good attention from this guy.  Then I took a young woman who comes from an underprivileged home in there, looking for a second hand car, and he helped her.  He was very helpful; came right out and got his guys gathered around and had a conference about it.  He's such a genuinely friendly and nice guy.  After you've been there, the manager routinely sends out a questionnaire about what kind of service did you get and please call me with any problems.  He always says that - call me, call me.  If there's any problems at all I just dance right back in there and get it taken care of.  They always - with no complaint whatsoever - they have a guy assigned to drive you home if it's gonna be a couple hours' project but you don't wanna wait.  The reviews that so many times car dealerships get or car repair shops - this is a good one.

I highly recommend them.  It's a family owned name and the owner, Mr. Mehta, is from India, but I didn't know that he was from India until he took a couple of weeks off to go back to visit there.  He's totally Americanized, for better or for worse.  I go there when my car gets dirty, and I end up sitting there with my dog who gets treat, and then I sit there and talk with them.  The owner has trained his sons to run the shop and he sits in the adjacent car wash, and he's older.  Mehta is auto service and car wash.  I haven't used their auto service that much because I have a Toyota and I get it taken care of at the Toyota dealer.  The manager of  the Mehta service, not the overall manager which is his father, he took a ride with me once to find out - I was complaining about a noise.  When I was originally introducing myself over there and asking did they worked on used cars, which of course they do, he said and we just try to keep our prices a cut below the - she said we're in business too - but we try to keep it a cut below the dealers.

How did it go? - Well, let's just say that my '04 Toyota has 376,000 miles, the '95 Toyota has just shy of 200,000 miles, the '14 Jeep has 25,000 miles and the '08 Jeep has 135,000 miles. They know my '04 is my baby and I religiously change the oil every 3,000 miles. The biggest bills I've had were $1600 back in '11 - some bearing issue - and I've done only routine maintenance of oil, brakes, flushing fluids, headlight, battery, etc. Crescent recommended another Angie's List service provider for my husband's import (it requires all these strange tools) and we haven't gone to the Dealer for anything unless it's a recall notice ever since! They provide timely, professional service and go above and beyond to explain things if necessary. No non-sense here!

We dropped our 2002 Buick Century off the evening before our scheduled appointment. By 9 the next morning, Mike called with a diagnosis and his recommendation of what should be replaced or repaired. We felt that they were very reasonable in their approach and recommended only the work that was absolutely necessary for our older high mileage vehicle. Their prices were very fair and they were able to complete the work in less than a day. They even performed some maintenance/cleanup work on a turn signal connector without a charge. Mike called a couple of times during the day to keep us posted on when parts were received and when work was complete. They even washed the car when work was completed! We were very impressed with their professionalism - very rare to find at an auto repair shop today. We would defintely recommend Nofsingers and will have our future maintenance done there as well.

I started to go there several years ago due to the VERY HIGH ratings they always receive from Angie's List.  They are unbelievably honest and thorough.  As is always the case, they completely inspected the car because my daughter was driving back to the University of Missouri after Thanksgiving and we wanted to be sure it was completely safe.  They found a few things but the tech was very clear on what he felt had to be done then and what could be done at a later time.  He was never 'pushy' and I felt well taken care of.  I had the brakes / rotors done and the ball joints replaced.  He also said she needed new front tires but offered to move the back to the front since the backs were just fine.  He did that at no charge.  While it is never easy to write a check for auto repairs, it is much easier when you know that the work is actually needed and done properly.  I would recommend them to anyone!

    A to Z Body & Fender
I cannot say enough good things about the team at A to Z Body & Fender.  Ricky and Jordan were incredibly professional, honest, meticulous, and thorough.  We had gotten 2 other estimates on our car in the amounts of $3,600 and $3,400 and they wanted to keep our car for 2 weeks.  A to Z's estimate/final price was $1,400 and they finished the work in THWO days!  On top of great service and a great price, this is a family owned business that I will continue to support for years to come!

    Pauli's Auto Repair
We have been using Pauli's for about 8 years now for all of our cars.  They always do a great job.  Chuck is a very talented mechanic and a pleasure to do business with.  Even though I never like needing to have my car repaired I feel I can trust them to make great recommendations and repair my vehicles correctly for a fair price.

    Doc Able's Auto Clinic Inc
ABSOLUTE CROOKS!  Avoid at all costs if you don't want to get robbed!
I spent $6,000 on repairs over 3 years at Doc Able's.
When they started servicing it, the car was 4 years old. Over those 3 years of Doc Able's "service", I averaged $2,000 per year of repair costs.  Most visits for what seemed like something minor turned out to be a $700 job.
In the back of my mind, I figured something was wrong.  How could a 4-year-old car have this many expensive problems?  But it wasn't until several years later that I found and switched to an HONEST mechanic (they do exist).  Over the next 6 years that I went to this other mechanic, my repairs averaged out to about $400 per year.
So you can do the math.  $2,000 per year at Doc Able's vs $400 per year at an honest mechanic.  And my car was practically brand new when I started going to Doc Able's, and was considerably older when I switched to the honest mechanic.
These guys should be investigated by the FBI.

It went perfect and they are nice and reliable. It took a couple of hours. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The waiting room is nice with coffee and TV. I had no issues with the engine belt.
